Dragonspine, it's windy and cold like always. Even though there was sunlight, the heat was not enough to keep someone warm in this cold mountain. Staying near to the bonfire will keep them warm and it's the only way unless you have that potion to keep you warm.

One morning, Albedo was still busy finding new potions and making new recipes to make potions. Searching for new stuff can be used for his experiments, and he doesn't care about getting a lot of sleep. Well, four hours of sleep was enough for him.

"Heya Albedo!" the (hair color) haired person went inside Albedo's temporary tent, which is near to the entrance of Dragonspine.

"Hello, (Y/N). What brings you here?" Albedo asked while he put the empty bottle down on his left table, but his back was facing them.

"Uhh, I need your help. It's for my assignment from my professor. You're the only person I can ask for help with it since Sucrose was busy searching for her ingredients." (Y/N) leans beside the experiment table gently enough so the table won't shake a bit.

"And what kind of assignment is that?" He finally faced them.

(Y/N)'s cheeks show a tint of pinkish blush as they looked down. They were already shy to say what was the assignment. This is not the first time they blushed right in front of Albedo, and he doesn't mind it at all because every time he asks them why they were blushing, their answer was because of the wind, the coldness, nor allergies. But the truth is... They like him. A lot.

"(Y/N)? Are you alright?" Albedo raised his eyebrows, kind of worried, and was also waiting for their answer.

"O-Oh, I'm sorry. It's a... Love potion." They finally said it, but they were whispering the last two words and hoping he heard it, but luckily, he did.

"A love potion? I can help you with that, but you better help me with finding the ingredients." Albedo took a pencil and a piece of paper to write down the stuff they need to find.

"Why are you writing it down? I can just memorize it." (Y/N) said, they knew that she will forget some stuff, but... oh well, it will take a lot of time to remember it.

Albedo sighed, and he turned around to give the list. "I hate to say this but, I know you forget things. You're my friend, and I am willing to help you with anything. Also, your mother already told me about it. I hope you understand me, (Y/N)."

(Y/N) got a little bit problem with remembering things. They might be unimportant or important, they will not remember them right away.

"I am sorry, I don't want you to get lost like the last time. You said you were going to be fine without the map I gave you, but... you already know what happened." Albedo continued with his voice sounded worried. He pats (Y/N)'s head. They looked up to him and smiled.

"I am also sorry, and thank you, Albedo. I'll take the list and head out to buy those. I'll be back later!" They said as they headed out of Albedo's tent.

"Stay safe, (Y/N)."

"I am back!" (Y/n) said as they entered Albedo's tent, panting.

"Oh my, you look like you swim into the mud!" Albedo exclaimed as he quickly ran towards and helped them to sit down on a chair. He stood up to look under the experiment table to get some towels and bandages. He went back to them and start to heal their wounds.

"Well, I fought those cryo slimes on my way back here to the tent. I also met Aether before I met those slimes, he was sad that he didn't get in the right time to help me, but he just helped me taking me here and went in a different direction." (Y/N) said, but she didn't know that Albedo was a bit jealous. Some people notice it, but except for them. He was focused on healing their wounds but deep inside... he wants to tell his feelings he has for them.

Albedo thought (Y/N) as his friend only until one day, they accidentally fell on top of him, both of them were looking at each other's eye under the starry night. He suddenly felt butterflies, and a warm feeling on his chest. Hearing his heartbeat while looking at those beautiful eyes while the moon was shining behind them. He realized... he caught some feelings for them.

"...Uhh Albedo? Are you okay?" (Y/N) was worried. Albedo was pacing out while they were babbling about how they fought those slimes but they caught him looking at something else because he stopped wrapping the gauze around their knee.

"Oh, sorry. I was thinking about the love potion." Albedo lied to them as he continued and tied the gauze to finish it.

"Uh-huh. You weren't listening to me! What were you thinking? Tell meeeee." (Y/N) begged. Albedo stood up after he cleaned up the stuff and put it back under the table.

"Where are the ingredients?" Albedo asked bluntly, ignoring their question.

"Hmph, here. You might be thinking about someone huh?" They handed the stuff to Albedo, and he took it to the experiment table.

"Yes." Albedo answered bluntly, and his back was facing them.

"Oh... well who is it?" Asked by (Y/N) who is already heartbroken from his answer. They thought someone already caught Albedo's heart and now, they got no chance left to confess her feelings.

"Joe." Albedo prayed in his mind that they won't mess it up.

"What? Who is joe?" (Y/N) asked, raising an eyebrow.

Albedo smirked, "Joe Mama."

(Y/N) was quiet and felt betrayed by their friend. "I hate you. You betrayed me!" A joyful (Y/N) is now a grumpy (Y/N).

"It's called revenge, sweetie. Now, help me here." Albedo pulled a tall chair to his side so (Y/N) can sit due to their wounds and help him make the potion.

It took them a lot of hours to perfect the potion. They started in the morning until midnight, and a good thing it's Saturday and (Y/N) don't have school until Sunday.

"So, I have to put this rose petal and dandelion seeds together in the boiling water..." (Y/N) said as they put the ingredients carefully.

"Yes, now next. Put one slice of vallberry fruit and few drops of crushed lavender juice. It will add some good smell." Albedo said to (Y/N), he wasn't doing anything except telling them what amount of ingredients needed to put in the pot.

As both of them stirred the pot carefully and the water turned blue, violet, and until it turned red. The perfect color for a love potion, and it means...

"Looks like we did it." Albedo said happily. (Y/N) was jumping beside him.

"Finally! WE DID IT! It took us so many hours to perfect it, now I can finally sleep for so long!" (Y/N) realized that they have wounds on their knees, and it gave them intense pain.

"Oh, Barbatos! Freaking it hurts like a stick stabbed on my butt!" (Y/N) exclaimed, they were about to fall but Albedo caught them right away.

"You're still clumsy from the day we met each other." Albedo helped them stood up and let them sit on a chair.

"I know, I know. It's just we finally did it!" They were still happy even though their knees were hurting them so badly.

"Mhm, but please be careful next time." Albedo stood up and put the love potion on a bottle. It was a lot than he expected, he took another to fill it in.

"We just made two love potions huh? It looks like a juice to me, I can tell someone might drink it accidentally." (Y/N) laughed. (A/N: Woah that rhymes-)

"We should put a name on it so no one can drink it, but we will do it tomorrow. We need to sleep." Albedo said as he cleaned up the table.

"Yup, we should. It's 1 am already and I need to hunt for some meat later." (Y/N) carefully stood up and Albedo put his right arm around their waist to support them. They were blushing and looked at their left to hide their blush. Albedo blew the candle as both of them went outside and head to the waypoint.

The moon is lighting up the area while they are walking towards the bridge. They finally got in front (Y/N)'s house, a good thing the gate closes at 12:30 am. (Y/N) thanked Albedo for helping them and turned around to face their door, but before (Y/N) was about to turn the doorknob, Albedo cleared his throat. (Y/N) turned around to face him again.

"Yes? Did I forgot something again?" They asked nervously, knowing that Albedo might scold them for forgetting something.

"Uhh, n-no. I just want to give you something." Albedo said. He pulled out something behind his back and gave them a small pink and red box with a little ribbon on top of it.

"Valentine's Day is coming up, and I know I'll be busy on that day doing a lot of experiments. I hope you like it, (Y/N)... because I like you so mu-"

(Y/N) cut off Albedo by hugging him so tight. Albedo was frozen for a moment and finally hugged them back. He kissed their head as both of them pulled away to look at each other, and Albedo caressed their right cheek.

"I like you too so much, Albedo." (Y/N) said happily and kissed Albedo's cheek, it made him blushed.

"I am so glad you liked me back... my cecilia."

Morning

"Albedo? Are you here?" Timaeus looked around Albedo's temporary tent after he entered. The reason why he's looking him was... for food. Timaeus heard his tummy grumble, he remembered that he asked Albedo to give him some snack or food after he hunts for more ingredients.

As Timaeus looked around the tent, he saw two bottles on the table. Well, he thought it's the grape juice Albedo made for him. He approached the table and grabbed one bottle to drink. While drinking it, he felt some warmth in his chest and felt dizzy until he heard someone called his name. He turned around to see...

"Albedo?"

Albedo couldn't believe what he saw... "Oh no, Timaeus! Don't tell me you drink it!"

Too late... Timaeus ran towards Albedo with wide arms open to hug him. "Oh, my love! You're finally here!"

Albedo ran out of the tent and realized the mistake he made. Well it looks (Y/N) got no chance left to confess their feelings, again.
