My life started when I died

When we were shot everything went black

It was like it was supposed to happen

In fact it was! I even spoke to Fate about it.

I was supposed to never exist

When I opened my eyes, I knew I had died

I called for my brother
Nothing responded

Instead I noticed something else

A heart. A Soul

It was warm, small
Broken

What was I supposed to do?

I pondered

I hugged it. Thinking about how to save it.
Bad move

Apparently I fuse with souls like that.

But in a way, I healed it.

I had fused with a bat. I heard its cries. They were scared. They cared Deeply for a friend.

It was in pain so I thought fast.

Little bat, I hear you.

I said, hoping it heard me.

Nothing will hurt you I promise
