Violet's POV

I get off of the train as I wait for Levy to get off. We soon start to walk towards where the mine is. The client who ask for us wants us to meet here there. I hum as we walk to it.

"You ready for your first job," Levy ask me.

"Yup! This is going to be exciting! Well this is technically my second job, but my first as a Fairy Tail member and with you," I say as I smile.

"So you did one with your father and then escape from José," Levy ask me.

"Yup!"

Soon enough we reach mine to see our client standing in front of it.

"Thank goodness you made it. We were able to get food to trapped miners," our client tells us.

"Alright. Show us where they are trapped and we will get them out," Lev tells her as she nods.

We follow her into the mines. I look around and make sure nothing bad will come after us. Our client tells Levy about what happened and a bit about the rune.

"If ya know a lot 'bout it then why don't ya get rid of it," I ask her.

"I don't know magic myself. So I look up different magic to hopefully help my village," she explains. "They should be right ahead. You two go ahead and I'll catch up with you guys."

We nod our head and walk ahead of her.

"I got a feeling that this is a set up," I tell Levy.

"Me too. Keep your eyes open."

I nod my head and look around. Soon we reach where they should be.

"It is a trap," I say as a rube goes up around us.

"Indeed. Now then...where is Gajeel Redfox's clone," she says.

"Who are you talking about," Levy ask.

"Rumor has it that Gajeel Redfox has a clone. Didn't says the gender, just that the clone joined Fairy Tail. José is paying a lot of money for this clone back. How hard can it be?"

"Very. Because Fairy Tail won't give this person up that easily," Levy says. "We won't rot a friend out just to get taken!"

"Well then....it seams like no one is gonna find-"

She was cut off as she falls forward unconscious. We look to see someone with red eyes looking at us. The rune goes down and I catch his scent. I smile as I look at him.

"Yo. So what happen here Vi," Gajeel ask me as I smile.

"Hey Dad! Nothing much. Just someone wanting to find me because José knows I'm in Fairy Tail. Otherwise I'm great! Oh yeah! This is Levy," I say as my dad look at Levy.

"She sure is a Shrimp."

"Hey! I'm not that small!! And you are all the way up there," Levy says as she puff her cheeks out in annoyance.

"Hmm..yer right," My dad says as he jumps down so that he is in front of her. "Ya still are a Shrimp. So that's yer nickname."

Levy pouts cutely.

"So what are you doing here," I ask him.

"Well and heard and smelled ya so I thought I would check on ya and see how yer job goes. By the looks of it, not so well," Gaje says.

"Well we didn't know it was a trap," I tell him. "And I didn't think José would be smart enough to know that I joined Fairy Tail."

"He doesn't. He just guess since it's Phantom's Rival."

"Ok...so what should we do now," I ask him.

"Well for one thing ya and Shrimp should head back to yer Guild. José got something planned for ya guys and ya'll should be ready."

"What is he planning," Levy ask as she walks up to us.

"It's mostly in this letter. Make sure yer master gets it. Probably wouldn't be doing this if my daughter wasn't in the Guild," Gajeel says as he hands the letter to Levy.

"Thanks. So what if José figures out you told us his plan," Levy ask as she puts the letter in her bag.

"He won't. Now list Vi. Ya can't show up during the whole thing 'cause then José will try and get ya like the person he's after. So try and blend in or just hide in the basement of yer Guild," Gajeel explains to me.

"But I want to help my Guild!"

"I can understand Squirt. But if José gets ya. I don't know what he would do."

"Alright. But don't you dare hurt the Guild too much," I tell my dad. "I know José will send you to come after us, so just don't hurt the people too much," I tell him.

"I'll try. And I'll keep away from ya and Shrimp. Can't hurt ya or the person protecting ya," he says as I smirk evilly.

"Are you sure it's that reason? Maybe it's 'cause ya liiikkkkkeee her~."

I get hit in the head by my dad.

"Shuttap! It ain't like that!"

I look up and start to giggle when I notice both Gajeel and Levy's face is red. Levy's is darker than Gajeel's.

"Then how do ya explain the blush on yer face."

"I'm gonna hafta teach ya a lesson," my dad says...and then we start to fight.

Levy's POV

I watch Violet and Gajeel fight like how Natsu and Gray would usually. And it looks like Vi is staying at pace with her father. They are so much alike yet so different at the same time. I mean.....they both are cute and....wait WHAT?! NONONONONONONononoonono!!! I can think like that! I just met her father and it is VI's father and....b-but she does call me mom...does she? No! That can't be. She can't ship us like Mira. Though Mira would be more forward and want us to be together and go on a date and.....

"Look out," I hear a voice says as I look up to see that Violet have push Gajeel at me.
