Y/N was at Princess Peach's castle, eating some fresh baked cookies until Luigi burst in. He held some tickets.

"What are those for, Weegee?" Peach asked, sipping her tea.

"A circus is taking place today. I got us some tickets," Luigi looked at Y/N,"Including one for you, Y/N!"

"Oh sweet!" Y/N grinned.

So later that day, the princess, the Mario Bros., Toadsworth, and Y/N walked to the circus tent that was set up in the middle of Toad Town.

Luigi had smartly reserved them really good seats, so that they were close and could see everything.

"Ladies and gents!" Said a man wearing a top hot in the middle of the tent,"Welcome all! I'm glad you decided to take out time to see our circus. First off, let's start with... the elephants!"

In came elephants, ballerinas dancing graciously on top of them. The ballerinas seemed to fascinate Peach. Although, Y/N wasn't giving big reactions to anything.

Not until...

"And, today we have a special guest in our performance. Please welcome... Lemmy Koopa!"

Mario gasped as the people applauded. The spotlight shone on Lemmy, who was at the top of a pole. A yellow circus ball next to him.

He got onto the ball and started balancing it on the tight rope. Y/N leaned out of her seat a bit. Y/N wasn't sure if she was interested because of his tricks, or because of his look. It was probably both.

At the end of the circus, which was amazing, people lined up in the back to get signatures from Lemmy.

After the line ended, the princess and her companions got to meet him personally. Thing is, they already knew him. All of them but Y/N...

"Hello, Lemmy..." Mario said.

Lemmy was part of the Koopalings, who were Bowser's nephews/niece/adoptive kids. There was one female in the group.

"Hey Mustache!" He grinned. Then he saw Y/N. His eyes widened.

"Who's this pretty human?" He asked.

"Lemmy, meet Y/N L/N. Y/N, meet Lemmy Koopa.." Toadsworth said.

Lemmy and Y/N shook hands and they could both feel sparks inside of them.

"N-nice to meet you, Lemmy," Y/N blushed a tiny bit from his compliment.

Lemmy grinned at Y/N,"Did you enjoy the circus, Y/N?" He liked the way Y/N's name sounded when he said it.

"Of course. My favorite part was... yours." Y/N bit her lip.

Lemmy' cheeks became pink. From there, the two began a conversation. Princess Peach was the only one to notice how both of them blushed at each other's words.

When they left, Peach decided to speak to her friend privately.

"Y/N, how do you feel about Lemmy?"

Y/N looked at Peach, confused,"I feel good. He's a nice guy. Why?"

"Do you, perhaps, like him?" The princess raised an eyebrow.

Y/N blushed once again,"W-well uh, I-I don't know how to respond to that."

"Your body seems to know how," Peach smirked.

Y/N gulped,"Okay. Maybe I like him just a little."

Peach giggled,"He seems to like you back. He was blushing the whole time... And so were you."

Y/N sighed softly,"He would never like me. I mean, look at the people in the line. Many of them were girl—"

"I don't care about the people in the line. Listen, let's not tell Mario about this. I'll find a way to let you see him more often, good with that?"

Y/N nodded,"Yeah. Okay."

It has been five months since that day. Y/N and Lemmy are now really good friends. They practically know everything about each other.

But there's one thing Y/N doesn't know...

They walk through the Dark Forest, since there they can be alone and unbothered.

"Y/N, we're really good friends right?"

Y/N glanced at him,"Yeah."

"Okay... Um..." Lemmy sighed,"Do you have a boyfriend?"

Y/N blinked,"Lemmy..."

"Huh?"

"That's my boyfriend's name. Lemmy Koopa," Y/N smiled.

Lemmy blushed intensely,"So you wanna be my girlfriend?"

"Of course!" Y/N hugged him.

Lemmy sighed with relief and hugged him back.
