as much as seoyeon wanted to understand why kihyun was acting the way he was, she was afraid of why he was going to talk to her now. she had no way on knowing if the reason he wanted to talk to is because of this or because of something else she feared for.

as she walked out of the door of her home, she stood there for a few seconds trying to redeem herself from going back inside and just saying that she couldn't make it like she thought she could.

as she made her way to the cafe where she was going to meet the male, she had time to think through how she was feeling— it may of been a short period of time but the talk previously with shownu made her realize a couple things and the wall she was building to prevent herself from being hurt again was starting to fall.

the ding of the bell on the cafes door caused the young male in one of the booths to look up from his lit phone screen— it was kihyun.

seoyeon nervously made her way to him trying to avoid eye contact and sat down and remained a small smile on her face.

"soo.. why did you want to talk to me? haha" seoyeon said with a nervous laughter, not only was she nervous for that but nervous because this was the first time her and kihyun met in person and her mind was flooded with how attractive he looked in person, more than in a picture on a phone.

"i'm sorry.. for acting like an asshole. i let my feelings get in the way of our friendship" as a moment of silence passed the other finally replied to her question.

'friendship.. right.'

"it's fine, i'm over it. but what do you mean by feelings?" seoyeon presented, she tried giving out a little laugh, making it less likely to seem that she was fine.

"well one i can tell you're not fine. i meant.. feelings for you seoyeon. i was being an ass because you were bluntly talking about how hot another guy is and instead of listening to you, i tried pushing you away to prevent anything i would've regretted." he sighed before stating what he was feeling, the truth was let out and it was better than keeping it inside like he wanted to.

"why do you pick me kihyun? i disregarded your feelings since th—" seoyeon was saying before getting interrupted.

"because you have always the one i waited for. how could you of disregarded my feelings when i left you in the first place for nearly a week." kihyun bluntly stated and continued, "even if you don't have feelings for me in that way like i do, it's okay. i wouldn't hate you because i know we haven't known each other for years to figure out what you feel."

"like my friend once said, 'it doesn't matter how long you known someone. you could know someone for a week and they've been there for you more than someone you known for a year.' kihyun... i wouldn't want to make you wait months if i already know my feelings.... i have feelings in that way for you too" a weak smile grew on the females face, oh how much her heart was pounding rapidly and she was on a verge to a tear falling down her face.

the males face was purely shocked by the last thing she said, being so used to the feeling of rejection and being hurt by it, he was so used to the 'i don't feel the same way' response but, it made his smile grow on his face.

"if i like you and you like me.. would you want to be my real girlfriend seoyeon and go on a date with me?" sarcastically saying 'real' knowing that he once asked her to be his fake girlfriend previously before that.

"yes, kihyun i would love to be your real girlfriend and go on a date with you." seoyeon said laughing, she already knew that kihyun was the funny dumb one in this.
