Divya is a little caught up in eating popcorn and crying at the beautiful speech Zohra made to describe her story. She wipes her tears and stands once again, harnessing her theatrical side.

Divya: Ladies and gentlemen, this is a story very dear to me and all these lovely people here, so listen carefully and take its message to your heart!

Rina's eyes were on the screen for the last twenty minutes. She's been refreshing the page for like twenty times in the last twenty minutes. With every passing minute she was getting even more tense.

Who could describe the day more better than her, after all it's the results day. Rina had been extremely nervous about the day. She was scared that she would fail and make her parents disappointed in her.

Another screen lightened up showing a notification from her best friend enquiring her if her results were out. She just pushed the notification aside and kept staring at the screen.

Within a few seconds her result was in front of her eyes. Rina froze on her seat, her nightmare was on the screen. She didn't fail, but neither was she satisfied with her marks.

Her room door swung open to find her mom standing with a questioning look and Rina was at a loss of words. She was utterly disappointed in herself.

Her mother rushed to her and took a look at her marks in the laptop. Rina was barely able to control the tears from her eyes. She was hit by reality and it wasn't easy to accept failures because expectations always hurt us badly.

She ran out the room, while her mother was calling her. She went to the terrace and broke into tears. She started blaming herself for the result she received. She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around to see who it was.

It was her father, she quickly wiped her tears and bent her head low. Her father sat down along with her on the stairs and he didn't say anything. His silence was like a punishment for her.

He cleared his throat and spoke up.

"Rina, I understand you are disappointed in yourself but dear tell me something with the tears flowing down your eyes will your marks come back? I am not going to judge you based on your marks, there might be many factors because of which the marks might have been reduced. It will take time to accept what has already been done to you.

If incase you feel, you haven't worked hard enough then there is still chance in your hands to work hard and get better knowledge next time. Remember the next time should not make you lenient every time. You will genuinely deserve the second chance only when you wish to learn from you mistakes. Every body makes mistakes Rina, great personalities are those who learn from their mistakes. Let the pain out you're feeling now. Cry it out",saying so he engulfed her into a warm side hug which gave a peace in Rina's heart.

She cried till tears didn't come out from her eyes and looked back at her father.

"I'll definitely work hard the next time, Dad! I promise you",she said and smiled brightly.

The end! Now, let’s give the mich to Adiba so she can tell us all about the tips and tricks she has to help you all!

Adiba: Thanks so much, Divi! Here are some tips on academic issues I have for you guys!

1. Try making day to day to do lists :

To do lists help you organize your day and when you tick off each task that you do it will give you motivation to complete the whole list. Also do remember to give yourself something when you complete the whole list. Try doing the to-do list the night before you sleep so that you'll wake up knowing what you have to do for that day. For this, you might use some app Or simply make a note on a book

2. Inform the higher authorities or your parents at least if you are being bullied or ragged in the school :

As a student many of us are a victim of being bullied or ragged by seniors or the students of our same class. It results in a lot of mental pain and agony which isn't good for one's mental health. Tell someone who would not take your words lightly about it, it could be your parents, siblings, best friends, your teacher, anyone who could help you with it.

3. You're not feeling motivated to study :

When you know what’s behind your low motivation,  you’ll be in a better position to tackle your problem head-on. Keeping some motivational quotes by your desk may also help inspire you to keep going when you experience low motivation. The right diet helps, too; for example, eating very sugary foods for breakfast will cause a temporary sugar rush that will make you feel active initially, but will soon wear off, leaving you lethargic and unable to motivate yourself.

4. Distraction Management :

Eliminate the things you know to be your weaknesses from your workspace. This could include your phone, the internet, the television and so on. Limit your socialising to weekends, and consider installing a browser app that stops you going on any social media.

If you need to use your computer for writing essays, try using an app that will fill the screen with whatever you’re working on, so that the internet isn’t a distraction.

If you find it impossible to get work done at home because of the number of distractions, try working somewhere else. The library would be a good place, as you can shut your phone away in your locker, and peace and quiet is guaranteed.

5. Difficulty in remembering the things you studied :

Learning things properly in the first place will help your recollection come exam time, but if you really struggle to retain the necessary information, learning to utilise a few memory aids may help.

6. Disliking the subject you study :

If you dislike the subject because you feel you’re not very good at it  perhaps a bad grade has put you off? – the answer may lie in becoming more confident in this subject. You could devote a bit more time to getting better at it and you might find that you start enjoying it more.

Adiba: I sure hope that helped at least a little bit!

Mags: And that’s the end! Have a good day y’all and enjoy this relatable meme as a parting gift:
