"My daughter is getting married" Shitija squealed, "Mom! You said it more than hundred times in one hour" Inaaya rolled her eyes. "She is saying it purposefully to irritate me, I will miss you Inny" Ram hugged his daughter getting emotional. 

"Save some tears, I dont know how to handle you when she leaves" Shitija murmured doing her works. "No problem! I am going to take dad along with me" Inaaya said winking at her dad, "You are not serious right?" Shitija asked not believing what her daughter said. 

"After I retire I will stay with my daughter, you can stay wherever you want" Ram said in a challenging tone. "Aarav will not have any problem if I too stay with you, anyways I have so many works unlike you" Shitija said making the other two laugh.

"See dad! Your wife is supporting Aarav even before marriage. No one will be there for me" Inaaya said with a sad pout. "Inny! What am I there for? Never forget you have your dad what may happen" Ram assured her, "But you won't go against your wife na" Inaaya stated. "I can fight with this world for you Inaaya, so your mom is not a big deal" Ram said smiling, "You became gutsy" she teased.

Inaaya was busy with her office work and she did not get time to know about Aarav, even for her engagement she came running from a meeting. On the other side Aarav went for a sudden business tour, as all relatives were invited their engagement was not postponed.

"Sorry for the late" Inaaya came running inside where almost all guests were present, "Go and get ready fast" Ram pushed her. "What kind of a bride is she?" "She came last for her engagement" few guests started commenting.

 "I am proud of my daughter- in law, she managed to come here inspite of the work load. How many of you can manage personal and professional lives?" Aarav's mother Lata questioned them. "Even our son did not come till now" Aarav's father added.

Just then Aarav came in his office suit and Inaaya came from her room, they both exchanged rings and took blessings from all. As Inaaya was tired she rested in her room and Aarav too called day off. "Inaaya!" Lata came into her room, "Mom! Sorry I am having severe headache so thought of resting" Inaaya explained.

"Did I ask you? You take rest. We were leaving so I thought of meeting you. Give me your phone" Lata demanded the last part and Inaaya gave it willingly. "I saved Aarav's number, you both did not get time to speak. Call him whenever you want, he will never do that so I am asking you" Lata explained and Inaaya loved her mother in-law for understanding her.

"I am lucky" Inaaya said and Lata kissed Inaaya on her forehead and left.  Later after all the guests left Ram and Shitija joined Inaaya in her room. Her mother started massaging her head, "It is good that even Aarav works in the same city, now you need not do this shuttling" Ram said happily. "Why? Doesn't he stay here" Inaaya asked in confusion. 

"His parents stay here, Aarav has a flat in the city and he stays there" Ram explained. "I did not know this, I thought I can stay happily with his parents" Inaaya said sadly. "Even now you can back off, I will support you" Ram said seriously and Shitija got shocked. Inaaya started laughing seeing her mother's expression, "Mom! I wont cancel this. Now you can breathe" Inaaya said. 

"You both scare me" Shitija said hitting both Ram and Inaaya. "Even on your wedding day you can cancel it and I will support you" Ram said before leaving. "Dad! Please act like my dad and not like a brother"  Inaaya sighed.

"Should I call him or not?" Inaaya questioned herself many times holding her mobile phone. "What if he thinks I am desperate? But his mom told me to call him, What to do?" She kept on worrying. At last she called the person who can help her, "Congratulations" the voice from other side blasted her eardrums. "Thank you but please stop shouting Yashu" Inaaya requested.

"I am so happy and excited about your wedding" Yashitha said jumping up and down, "Calm down! I need your advice" Inaaya said hesitantly. "What happened? You sound worried" Yashitha asked immediately. Inaaya explained about how her mother in-law gave her Aarav's number and how confused she is making Yashitha laugh. 

"So my best friend is desperate to talk with her fiance" Yashitha said giggling, "Yashu" Inaaya whined. "Oh my baby is in love again" Yashitha said making Inaaya's face pale. Sensing what non sense Yashitha is doing Nivaan snatched phone from her. "My wife became lunatic recently, so don't mind her words" Nivaan said making Yashitha glare.

"How are you bro?" Inaaya asked lovingly, "I am good sis and you should definitely call Aarav, Trust me he will not think you are desperate if he is a gentleman. Moreover you inform him what his mother told you, Your happiness is most important and stop thinking what others will think about you" Nivaan explained. "Thank you bro! You are the best" Inaaya thanked him and Nivaan cut the call before Yashitha could stop him. 

Yashitha felt proud about her husband seeing how protective he is for her best friend, "She is my sister too" Nivaan said reading her thoughts. "I wish Inaaya gets all happiness" Yashitha uttered and Nivaan too prayed for the same.

Inaaya called Aarav and they both decided to meet after their office hours but it got cancelled because Aarav works till late hours. Inaaya could not stay till late night as she has to travel back again unlike Aarav who stays in the same city. One day after her office Inaaya saw Aarav waiting for at the gate, "What a pleasant surprise?" Inaaya said with a huge grin.

"I am sorry for not meeting you till now but let us go for dinner today" Aarav said cheerfully. "I should go home" Inaaya said in hesitance. "I will drop you as I am going home" Aarav said and Inaaya agreed happily. Both of them tried to know about each other but Inaaya being observant and sharp minded came to know many things even without asking.

All preparations for the wedding were in full swing and Inaaya took leave for shopping and other stuff. "No one will do shopping just before the wedding rituals" Shitija taunted her daughter, "My Inaaya does not take much time unlike us Mrs. Shitija" Lata defended her daughter in-law. Inaaya could not stop admiring  Aarav's mother seeing her act like a friend. 

"So what all do you both talk?" Lata asked Inaaya making her blush, "We hardly to talk mom, he is always busy. We met only twice or thrice, he seemed aloof after first meeting" Inaaya said honestly. "I want to tell you something" Lata said but meanwhile Shitija joined them making both of them silent.

After that many times they tried to talk but with all the guests it became impossible. The day before her wedding Inaaya cleverly took her mother in-law to her room and locked it, "I know you want to share something with me, you can say it mom. No one will disturb us" Inaaya said holding her hands.

"Aarav is in love with another girl" Lata said making Inaaya gasp, "Then why don't you get him married to her" Inaaya suggested. "We accepted but that girl did not want to marry, she left Aarav and he is heart broken" she said with tears and Inaaya's thoughts drifted towards Daksh. 

"We forced him to get married but left the choice of girl to him, he rejected many but finally chose you. Aarav really likes you, he only selected all your wedding dresses and other gifts for you. Just give him time to open up and if you want you can say no to him even now. We can understand" Lata explained.

"What is it with you all asking me to say NO? Do you want me as your daughter?" Inaaya got irritated hearing same thing from her dad, Nivaan, friends and now her mother in-law. "I can never leave you dear" Lata said smiling. "Then go and do arrangements to welcome me" Inaaya ordered and her mother in-law did a mock salute.

Inaaya got ready and sat alone in her room getting tensed, she cursed her family for not having sisters or cousins who can cheer her. Shitija was busy with arrangements and guests, Inaaya tried calling her friends but none of them answered. 

Inaaya started feeling dizzy with the continuous anxiety and she shouted for her dad. "Inny! Careful" Ram came in and held her before she falls down. "Drink this" he offered her a glass of water, "Dad! Sammy is not coming, her flight got delayed due to bad weather. What about Asmi?" she questioned. "Asmi is in Australia for her tournament and her mother sent apologies, blessings for you" Ram explained. 

"I can understand but all my friends ditched me" Inaaya said angrily, "When did you become feisty?" she heard a voice which made her shocked. Inaaya could not believe her eyes seeing the person standing before her and started crying.
