About 5 minutes after we go down stairs my dad comes home. He runs down the stairs knowing we're somewhere in the basement. Once he finds us he tells us he has exciting news. He says "I've got really exciting news but...... I'm not telling you it until after supper" I'm ready to shoot him cause he knows I can't handle not knowing things. Once he tells me that he has a surprise there's a knock on the door and Jonathan opens the door saying "SHARPIE YOU HOME?" We all start running up the stairs when we get up stairs I run to Sarah and give her a hug it's been a year since I've seen her, last time I did see her was at Atlantics. I can't wait for them this year there going to be amazing. There going to be held in Newfoundland this year so it should be fun to go there I heard it is a beautiful place. As Jonathan and Sarah take of there jackets I head to the stairs and yell for Alex "ITS SUPPER TIME HOTSHOT" he heads down the stairs and laughs as he notices that i referred to what he called me this morning. Once we all sit down to the supper table we start eating and Jonathan asks me if everything's alright cause I'm jumping up and down in my seat I tell him about the surprise and how my dad won't tell me, Jonny chuckles and says " classic Sharpie". After we finish eating I nag my dad to tell me the surprise he actually has 2 surprises for me but will only tell me one so he goes ahead and says it " Madelyn and Sarah, me and Jonathan are surprising you both us four will be going to Chicago in two weeks and will meet up with Kaner. But the best part is you are going to be recognized at one of the games and you will go on the ice and drop the puck." Me and Sarah are in shock when our parents say this me hugging Alex with excitement my dad then says " oh and I almost forgot I've already talked to Alex's parents and he's coming too." Then Alex starts hugging me with excitement . After we all sit on the couch and watch the Hawks vs Panthers game Connor McDavid captaining Florida and my old friend Brandon Saad captaining Chicago. Oh how I can't wait to see him. The game ends and Chicago ends up winning 3-2. I wanted to tell Brandon about how I was coming up but I decided it would be better to surprise him.
