By the time we pulled up to Fretters lot, Jake had told me all about the football game tonight and how i had to come see him win the whole thing in the first quarter. I wasn't sure if I would even feel like going, but I told him that I would think about it.he gave me the biggest grin and said, "Keep your eye on number 9!"

I gave a nod as I slid out of his car. "Uh, yeah. Will do."

He drove away. I look up. The pizzara was the same as the last time I had been here. I walk in the glass doors. Kids ran around, parents milled around and chatted. Not a single mother or father had there eyes on his or her child. Badly, I wanted to yell, "DON'T LEAVE YOUR CHILD TO JUST RUN! KEEP YOU EYES ON THEM! WATCH OVER THEM!" but I didn't. I just walk up to a woman in a yellow dress and apron. She had a yellow Chika head taped to her shirt. I tap her shoulder, and held up the letter. "I'm looking for the owner? My name is-"

"-Moonlight Primrose Defort." She cut in. her name tag said, 'Flora'. "We've been expecting you, Miss. this way."

She lead me to the main office, right next to the main party room. Inside was a man in a black tux and purple tie. His violet hair was pushed back with hair oil.

When he saw me, his face brock into a large grin. "Miss Defort! How nice of you to come." Flora left. "We have been waiting from you!" he leaned over and held out his hand. "My name is Vincent, but my friends call me Purple Guy, so call me Purple Guy!"

I shake his hand and raised an eyebrow. "Purple Guy? Really?" He gave a nod. I sit across from him. "So... may i ask something?"

"Go right ahead."

"Do I have the authority to put Foxy back in order of not?"

Purple Guy leaned back and looked up at a child's drawing. It was of a little kid and Foxy, both singing. The child wasn't the best drawer, but you could tell what it was. Next to it was a picture of the same kid, but with a stick figure with black and white arms and legs. Under them both, someone had scribbled the name 'rozey.'

Without looking at me, Purple Guy said, "Don't you remember? You drew there ones." he pointed at them. "You came up hear when you were two, and asked me 'mister, can i draw a picture for your office?' your mother almost burst into tears."

He spun back to me. "You couldn't write you full name, so you just put 'Rozey."

He leaned closer. "You very much have to authority to put Foxy back into working condition. I spock with the health and safety department, and we all agree the detection is up to you. What do you say?"

I look at the pictures. I fanity remember drawing them for someone. But, why did I do it for him?

"Can I see Foxy first?" I ask. He nodded and waved a hand. "He's in the cove." I stand and leave the office.

The moment she left my office, I reach for my tablet. I've had just about enough of the animatronics mopping. For years now, they've worried about the stupid girl. Time to fix that.

---

The Pirates Cove was dead quiet. The kids were now in the main party room, singing with Freddy, Bonnie, and Chika. The Pirates Cove had some dust on the floor and table. But the curtain, purple with yellow stars, was disturbed. Not one layer of dust covered it. Like someone moved it often.

I carefully walk up to it and pulled the curtain back. Right in front of me was a fox animatronic, a foot taller than me. His leather pants still had there holes. His fur, rusty red, was mattered and limp. His eye patch was up, and I could see both eyes. His amber eyes were dim, lifeless. His ears hung, sad.

I reach out and placed my left hand over his chest, where he should have a heart if he was human. He didn't react. Then, he lifted his hands and clasped them, hard, over my hand, holding me into place. I felt a gasp left my mouth, then I tug my hand. His metal hand and hook dug into my flesh, and I could feel a cut open. I grab my arm left arm with right hand and pulled harder. I could see the blood flowing down my hand and slipping onto the floor.

A door shut. I turn to see Purple Guy walking over, his hands behind him. He was grinning. I cry out, "Help! He's attacking me! I can't move!"

Purple Guy came right up behind me. He leaned over and looked me in my eyes. "He didn't attack you. I did. He can't help it. Like he couldn't help but bit your ear." he pulled back and waited for me to realize something.

I frown, then a piece of the puzzle fell into place. Then another, and another. I felt the blood drain from my face. You..." I whisper. "It was you!"

He pulled his hand from behind his back to show a dagger. I look up at him and backed up, back to Foxy. "please... no..."

He pulled his hand back, took a step forward, and drove the dagger right at my heart. I felt my eyes widen, and i slump. My hand still was against Foxy, so I lean against his legs. I could feel the life leaving my face. I look up, and Purple Guy knelt over me. "Any last words?"

Everything started to fade to black, but i still said, "Put...Foxy...Back...In...order..."

Purple Guy glared, and pulled out the dagger, and slit my throat.

Then my head saged and the world faded to black.
