We’ve had no luck finding Meeah. No clues. No more dreams. Nothing… It had been about a week and a half. I missed her. I prayed to the Moon Goddess every night, to just bring her home to me.

Cairo hasn’t heard from Ceeana either. So, it wasn’t like we could ask her about Meeah. Because she was with her mate, her parents didn’t put much concern into her leaving. I was still confused on why she took Meeah and made sure I knew it was her… And if she was so into me, why hasn’t she come back? So many questions and no answers.

“Lee, my office now. It’s urgent.” Said father in the mind link. 

I ran to his office and knocked. “Come in.“ I heard him say. I walked in and quickly asked. 

“What’s going on?“ I look at him eagerly. 

“Someone called asking for you. She said it’s urgent she speaks with you. But she did not leave a number.” 

I wonder who it may be? It’s urgent, but she didn’t leave a number… So how will I contact her back? Would she call again? I was questioning myself until suddenly, the phone began to ring. 

“Hello?” father answered. As I eagerly waited to know who was on the other end of the line. I’m not sure what the person said, but he responded. 

“He’s actually right in front of me.” He looked up at me, “I’ll give him the phone now, just give me a second.” He handed me the phone. 

“Hello?” I answered. 

“Hello Leelan, I’ve heard a lot about you, but I can’t talk for long. I’m Lilly, Cain's sister. And I’ve been the one taking care of Meeah.“ Before she could say anything else, I spoke. 

“Meeah!? You have my Meeah?” I looked at my father, whose eyes were huge, in shock. 

“Yes I do. I want to help her get away. I’ll call you again. So, please be near the phone.” And she hung up.

What the hell just happened!? She wants to help us?? But, why? If she’s Cains sister... How would she be able to help us? Now I have to wait for a phone call again. I was brought out of my thoughts by my father. 

“What did she say?“ I looked at him, “Oh not much, but she did say she has Meeah…” I paused, “And she’s taking care of her…” 

That was all he needed to know for now. “But excuse me, I have to go.“ And I walked out, not giving him a chance to question me.

Goddess will that Lilly girl really help me? Is she the one Ash was talking about? Will she really help us reunite? All these questions and I didn’t even know if they’d ever get answered. I needed to talk to Jace.
