Meeah

I’ve come to learn, Cains sister's name was Lilly. She was the one who was the nicest to me, she brought me food and had conversations with me when she got a chance. She was such a sweet girl, she was seventeen years old, but didn’t find her mate yet.

Suddenly, someone went into the room. I already knew who it was, since no one else bothered. Or maybe it was that no one even knew I was being kept hostage there. And there he was, Alpha Cain. 

“You’re such a useless person. That’s why you have no one. That’s why no one has come for you! I should just end your life and make it better on all of us!“ He said angrily. 

What happened to him? He never comes in here. I questioned myself.

 Suddenly, I was being held by my throat. I was struggling to breathe. I heard footsteps and yelling, but couldn’t make out what was being said nor what was going on. 

“Let her go Cain, she hasn’t done a thing!“ I heard someone say. Then silence and darkness.

I don’t know how long it had been, but I was starting to wake up. There was someone else in the room with me, I felt it. As I was shuffling around, trying to open my eyes, I heard my name. 

“Meeah? Meeah… are you up?” I heard a familiar voice but couldn’t pinpoint who it was. 

“Meeah?” I opened my eyes and it was Lilly. 

“What happened?” I asked. Not quite remembering what had happened.

“Cain…” Is all she said and all the memories from that moment tumbled into my mind. 

“How long?” Was all I could ask. Already knowing it wasn’t just a few hours.  

“Two days…” She said just above a whisper.

Two days!!??? I had been asleep for two days??? 

Leelan, where are you? I questioned myself, wondering if he was even looking for me. 

“Who are you?” She paused, looking deep in thought. “Like, who are you really? Where are you from, and why does Cain want to keep you? But, then tried killing you?” She asked me with such a worried expression on her face. 

“I’m Meeah Lee, your brother murdered my parents and pack. So I ran from him. This happened back in February. Leelan found me sometime in the ending of August. Your brother has never stopped looking for me. And with the help of his mate, which is the female who was pretty much in love with Leelan, he found me. I’m a hybrid wolf. My mother was a witch and father was the Alpha wolf of my old pack. I will be one of the strongest wolves, when I come of age and he wants to be better than anyone. So, he wants to use me for that.“ I said truthfully. Cause what was the point of lying if the chances of me getting out or being rescued were just so slim. 

“So he kidnapped you?” She asked, with such a petrified face. I nodded.

“With the help of Ceeana he did. And all I want is to go back home, to Leelan and his family.” I said truthfully. 

She looked so sad but I wasn’t expecting what she said next. She came close and mumbled… 

“I’ll help you leave, let me figure this out…” I looked at her with shock all over my face. 

“Why would you do that?” I asked. 

“Because I wouldn’t want this happening to me, nor anyone I closely love. I cannot imagine how life has been for you and you need happiness and a better life than this. You’ve been living in a room with chains on your legs, so you don’t escape, for a week and a half. No one would ever find you because no one knows where to look, but I will figure this out.” She assured me. 

“Leelan, Alpha Theos' son. The Moon Chasers Pack.” Was all I could tell her before someone barged into the room.

Ceeana.

 “Aw man, he didn’t kill you. He should’ve, you're just a waste of space.“ She said harshly. 

“Get out of here Ceeana, there’s no need for you to come in here. So before I tell my brother, I suggest you leave.” And without a word Ceeana left. 

I turned to Lilly “Thank you…”

Lilly handed me some pills and said, “Take them before the headache gets worse.“ 

I did as told and started feeling drowsy. Next thing I knew, sleep took over.
