Siegfried felt guilty of not knowing that Eric has electrodes glued to his chest, he then comforted Laura who is crying. He wanted to let her know that Eric will be fine at the medical ward, at least under the care of the white mages. Sonya, the white mage, felt bad for the two since she could've treat Eric's electrocution. She remembered feeling helpless when her family died from a disease that swept through her homeland, she trained in the arts of white magic to heal wounds under the belief that she will no longer feel helpless anymore.

"I could've treated Eric, it's the least I can do" she muttered to herself.

"I'm so sorry for your friend" said a female voice.

She turned around and saw Miranda, the proprietress, standing at the door. She watched her come to Laura and Siegfried, yet she felt like she's being ignored. She joined in as her teammates go back inside the building, because Miranda wanted to give them. As the team stood in front of the memorial to the scrubber named Cicero, Miranda picked up the crystal next to the picture and handed it to Siegfried.

"I know this means a lot to me, but I want you to have this crystal. With it, it can bestow you the Scrubber job that is in the line of support and attack" said Miranda.

"That's neat, but why would I need it?" Asked Siegfried.

"Because, due to the Blue moons low gravity, dragoons like you would have a hard time landing on your targets if you use your jump ability. If you did use your jump ability, then you would've fall very slowly until your teammates defeat the enemy before you do" she explained.

Siegfried examines the crystal, and he can see it glowing in a bluish green color with an emblem shaped like an oval. Then the soft light enveloped him, but it didn't hurt him. When the light dissipated, Laura and Sonya couldn't help but giggle at him (much to his confusion). He looked in the mirror and, much to his shock, his entire dragon themed armor was replaced with only a towel that wrapped around his waist and holding a brush in his hand.

"What happened to my armor!? I can't go around wearing only a towel, People will laugh at me!!" He screamed.

"Don't worry, this is what Scrubbers wear in the volcanic continent. Cicero worn a towel even before coming here, and like I said: he invented this job class as a means of teaching anyone how to use soap and water as attacks and support. Also, your armor is magically transported into your inventory any time you change your job class" Miranda explained.

"Wow! At least you won't worry about jumping high and fall slowly, Mr towel!" Joked Sonya.

Siegfried can only place his hand on his face and shook his head while blushing, in which the two girls couldn't help but laugh at him. After that, the team paid for the hot spring bill before leaving. They wanted to know where to sleep at, so they look at the sign that directs them at the residential area (it consists of small buildings with one room big enough for two people, equipped with showers and sinks). However, Siegfried felt nothing but embarrassment having to walk around wearing only a towel.

"I can't believe I changed my class into a Scrubber, I'm stuck wearing this towel!" Complained Siegfried.

"Calm down, at least you should practice it's abilities. It'll be useful if you get the hang of it, just ignore anyone who is looking at you or giggling" said Laura.

Siegfried sighed as he is resigned to being embarrassed, but he and the girls arrived at the residential area. Laura entered one small building while Siegfried and Sonya entered the other, they each started to unpack their things. Siegfried entered the bathroom and looked himself at the mirror, he stared at his hands as they become wet and soapy. Then water formed from his right hand, much to his surprise, he then looked down and see that the bottom of his feet are covered in moon dust. He started to practice his Scrubber ability by scrubbing the bottom of his feet, at the shower floor.

"Ability learned: soapy water!" The text appeared in front of him.

"Huh, maybe this can be of use" he said to himself.

He learned that the ability called soapy water can allow him to cure status ailments by using it on his teammates (same function as the white magic spell esuna), he found out the other abilities such as  "hot water" and "cold water" can deal damage to enemies along with the ability "slippery soap" (which makes enemies slippery). Then he heard Sonya calling him, so he left the bathroom to help her.

"Can you put these echo herbs in your bag, please? I'm organizing my bag to make room" She asked.

"Alright, I just learned the Scrubber ability. It's called: soapy water, it allows me to conjure a mix of water and soap from my hands to cure you of any kind of status ailments" he said while taking the echo herbs from her bag into his.

"You have? Like what Laura said: you have to practice your abilities to make them useful, if you get the hang of it" she said.

Siegfried felt tired and got on his bed, all that drama and the embarrassment wore him out to the point he does not care anymore. Sonya laid on the bed next to him, in which he wrapped his arm on her. Hopefully, the two will get to see their teammate Eric tomorrow.
