Mark and Jackson were walking home from school on a Friday, planning to stay at Mark's house before Jackson had to go home.

It was around 5:00 pm, and they were now just going home from the park.

Lucky for them, they both lived on the same block, so Jackson didn't have to walk far from Mark's house to go to his own.

As Mark and Jackson finally reached Mark's house, Mark took out his house keys and unlocked his front door.

Immediately when Mark opened the door, both he and Jackson could hear loud laughter.

The laughter came from the right, which was the living room.

Mark saw his mom chit-chatting with a women who awfully looked a lot like Jackson.

While his dad was talking quietly to a guy who looked kind of like an older version of Bruno Mars.

Immediately, Mark began singing Bruno Mars' song, Grenade, in his head.

Easy come, easy go.

That's just how you live oh

A/N:

Mark stopped singing in his head, thinking another thought.

Maybe it's his paren-

"Mommy? Daddy?" He heard Jackson call out.

So they are his parents.

"Jacksonie?" The petite women who was talking to his mom, voiced out.

She stood up and began walking towards them.

Suddenly, she was right in front of him and pulled him in a loving hug.

"How was school baby?" Jackson's mom asked while pulling him to the couch. Mark followed suit.

Mark's mom grabbed Mark and kissed him on the cheek.

"How was your day Mark?" His mom asked him.

Right when Mark and Jackson was about to answer their moms, Mark's mom interrupted both of them.

"Actually! Don't answer our questions. Answer them over dinner, which Sophia and I are going to start on right now."

Their two sons gave them confused looks in which the mothers only gave them knowing smiles back.

Mark shrugged his shoulders and told Jackson that they should go, and wait for dinner to be cooked in his room because he knew he was going to get answers then.

The loud clanks of silverware was heard throughout the whole house.

The Tuan family plus the edition of three guests made the dinner table full with 9 people.

Food was quietly chewed and a few mumbles were heard here and there.

All Mark was waiting for was his mom to start speaking.

"So," Mark's mom started off as soon as she put more rice on her plate, "how was school?"

Mark swallowed his food before answering his mom.

"Great."

Jackson's mom spoke up and asked Jackson the same question.

"It was really fun," Jackson replied while smiling at Mark, making Mark smile back.

Of course, the two mothers noticed this interaction and mentally squealed.

"Mark, how come you never told me that you and Jackson were friends?" His mom asked.

"He just recently moved," Mark responded.

Mark's mom laughed, "It's been almost two months Mark."

"Oh," was Mark's smart reply.

"How come I never knew that you and Jackson's mom were friends?" Mark countered back.

"Oh Sophia? Her and I go way back. We were friends even before you guys were born." Mark's mom revealed.

"Yeah, and when you guys were born, we made sure to set up a playdate immediately." Jackson's mom said.

"Wait." Mark said out loud as he thought of something.

He remembered when he and Jackson played 20 questions and asked the question, "When is your birthday?"

flashback

From Wang_Is_Sexy:
I'm going to start off simple. When is your birthday? Mine is March 28, 1994

To Wang_Is_Sexy:
I used to know someone who was born on March 28

From Wang_Is_Sexy:
Oh really? Do you remember who it was??

To Wang_Is_Sexy:
Nope. All I know was that they were there, but then the next day, they disappeared

From Wang_Is_Sexy:
That Sucks:/

Mark agreed with Jackson. It really did suck. Especially since he had a feeling that him and the person were really close despite their age.

end of flasback

"Oh my god!" Mark suddenly exclaimed.

Everyone gave him a questioning look.

Mark shook his head, telling them that it was nothing and it was one of his moments.

He looked at Jackson and mouthed, "I'll tell you later.

Jackson nodded in return.

As they were nearing the end of their dinner, Jackson's and Mark's mom placed their silverware down and grasped their hands together.

They've notice how their sons would look at the other when they aren't looking.

Mark would look Jackson and then would turn away after he would notice that Jackson moved his head slightly. After Mark looks at Jackson, Jackson would look at Mark until his head moves slightly. And the cycle would continue.

"So," Jackson's mom started off, "is there anything you want to tell us?" Mark's mom said, ending the question.

They wiggled their eyebrows and grinned.

Both Jackson and Mark reddened and avoided eye contact.

"We're just friends," Mark responded.

Sophia saw her son frown when Mark declared them as just "friends."

"That's a shame," Sophia spoke up, "you guys look really good together, right Dorine?"

Mark's mom started nodding her head.

She pointed at Mark.

"Go closer to Jackson."

"Mom!" Mark exclaimed, his ears as red as a tomato.

"Just do as I say, I am your mother." Dorine told him.

Mark mentally rolled his eyes, of course she used the 'mother' card.

He slowly moved closer to Jackson. He still couldn't look at him, too embarrassed about how their moms were shipping them together.

When Mark was finally closer to Jackson, the two moms squealed.

"Dorine! They look so good together!!" Sophia exclaimed.

"Holy Lord! Yes! I approve." Dorine said.

Mark and Jackson suddenly began to feel that the room was scorching hot, and that they needed to leave.

"Sophia!!! We need a ship name for them!" Dorine quickly yelled out.

Sophia nodded excitedly.

"Stop," Mark whined.

"Shush Mark, we're trying to think," his mom told him.

Mark finally looked at Jackson, trying to ask him why he isn't saying anything about any of this.

All Jackson did was shrug.

Mark felt like smacking him in the face, very annoyed at everybody.

After a moment of silence, (which Mark very much appreciated) someone spoke up.

"What about Markson," his dad told the mothers.

You betrayer, Mark thought.

He looked at his dad and glared at him. His dad just gave him a smirk in return.

Suddenly, like fireworks were above their heads, the moms screamed and hugged each other.

At the same time, they both yelled out loudly,

"Markson FOREVER!!"

And all Mark wished to do was smack his head multiple times against the dinner table.

But he secretly thinks that Markson sounded perfect.
