"I gotta go" I notices the missed calls and massages from Rafe "why?" JJ asks "I just need to go, but I won't forget that you guys own me an explanation about all of this" I ties up my shoes

"Okay, we'll text you later" John B says "are you okay?" JJ approach me "yeah I just need to take care of something" I says "yeah, okay" he nods before I walked out of the door

I was on my way to the Cameron house, Rafe texted me that we have to talk, he didn't say about what though

I knocks on the door seeing Wheezie opening it "oh hey Hales, Rafe has been looking for you" she says "is he here?" I asks "yeah he's in his room"

"Thank you Wheezie" I walks upstairs to his room. I open the room seeing him sniffing coke "Haley" he says "what the fuck Rafe? I thought you're sober" I says

"Where the fuck have you been?" Rafe stands up "I was with Sarah" I lies "don't you dare fucking lie to me Haley!" he says raising his voice

"Where have you been? Huh?" He asks again "I am telling you I was with Sarah" I lies again and he chuckles. to be honest, at this moment I started to get scared of him, his eyes were red from the drugs and I was scared of the effect the drugs has on him

"Topper told me he saw you with John B and JJ" he says making me freeze "oh what is that? Are you sacred now?" He notices I got anxious, stepping closer to me

"do I seem stupid to you Haley?" He asks stepping closer to me again "No"I simply answers "Do I seem stupid!" He shouts at me, few inches away from my face

"Rafe you are scaring me" I bitrd my lips out of tress "why are you lying to me? Why are you hanging out with those pogues" he asks and I stays quite

"You answer me when I talking to you!" He shouts as he shoves harshly me and I fell on his bed "why are you lying to me?" He yells again as he slaps me. I put my hand on my cheek as I stand up looking at him with horror. We had fights before, but never like this one.

"Shit Haley, I didn't mean to-" he says trying to reach for me but I steps away from him "don't" I says, completely scared from him right now.

"I am sorry, I just hate seeing you with them" he says and I see tears falling down on his cheek "please forgive me, I am sorry" he pulls me into a hug, I don't push him this time, but I don't hug him back, I just stand there, no idea what to do

I know this becomes toxic but I just feels bad for him, I wanted to help him go through the shit he go through and I don't want to make it worse by leaving him "I promise I will be better, it would never happen again, Hales. I promise" he says

"Okay" is all I say "I love you Haley" he adds "I love you too" I says, not knowing if those words still has meaning.

"But Haley, if I would try to get better you'd have to make an effort for this relationship too" he says "what do you mean?" I asks looking at him, how can he seriously ask me something after what just happened?

"don't tell me this is about the pogues again" I sighs "I just loves you so much you have to understand me" he says, calm this time "Rafe, they're not as bad as you think" I says

"Okay, that's what you think, and uh, I respect that, okay? But they're not good to you, just trust me on this" he says

"Okay, I'd stop seeing them" I gives up "thank you" he says with a smile as he kissed me

"I gotta go take care of business now but I'll meet you tomorrow okay?" He says, I nod as I watches him leaves the room

I hate that he makes me feel bad for him even after what he did, the thought that even after what happened I am able to forgive him scares me.

I don't know if I still love him, I have been feeling like this for a while. I loves the soft and nice Rafe, but not the aggressive one.

I just hope it won't happen again and he'd stop with the drug because I really miss Rafe, the Rafe that I met.

I walks to my house, feeling emptiness. after a while I hear horns, I went to check what it is and I sees the pogues, I let out a sigh as I walks downstairs towards them

"Guys I can't come, I am sorry" I says "what do you mean?" JJ comes out of the Twinkie "I am sorry. just go without me"

"You just said you won't forget we own you explanation, you're saying you don't want one?" JJ asks "no, okay? Count me out" I says

"You did that before" he says "did what?" I asks "you had fun with us, Haley" he says "having fun by being chased by two scary man?" I questions

"You know what I mean, you were interested and excited about this, I know you were. I still know you" he says, I says quite because he does know me very well "just listen to me" he says

"We need you Haley" JJ adds "no you don't, I already gave you whatever you guys needed to know" I says

"We haven't even got the chance to tell what we are looking for" he says making me looks at him curious "we are searching for the Royal Merchant" JJ adds

I remember my dad was always interested in this treasure, he was always on his office trying to figure out stuff about it until my mom had enough of it.

"Are you serious? It's like 400 million, isn't it?" I asks "it is" JJ says and I thought about it for a bit "fuck it" I says as I goes into the Twinkie

If we'd found it, it would be my way out of this life I got here, with Rafe and my lonely house. I needed a hope for that.

I don't think I have a miserable life but I wish I could live a life I want to live. My parents and Rafe won't allow me to be with the Pogues, but maybe I could be

"Where's Kiara?" I asks as I got into the Twinkie "she's next" John B before we arrives at the wreck, Pope goes to get her. "she says she is not coming" Pope says after a few minutes

"Not her too" JJ sighs "is this because of me?" I asks "nah, it's because of me" John B says

"What'd you do to her, John B?" He adds "shit. Hang on I'll deal with her" John B says as he comes out of the Twinkie

"where have you been, anyway?" JJ asks me as Pope gets inside the Twinkie "I was with Rafe" I answers "wait, is this still going on?" JJ asks "yeah" I simply says

"Why are you dating him? He's a total douche" JJ says "I am not gonna lie he can be a douche but he can be nice sometimes" I shrugs, I honestly don't know why I even try to defend him

"Just be careful" JJ says before John B comes in with Kiara ."Can I have a hit?" I asks JJ who were smoking "yeah sure" he hands me a joint

"Look I- I know I was wrong about the lighthouse all right? and wrong about pretty much everything else going on but I was right about one thing. Okay? My dad is trying to tell me something" John B says

"What lighthouse?" I asks JJ, not loud enough for anyone to hear expect him "we were at the light house named Redfield but we found nothing" he explains, I nod

By the time we arrived at the graveyard it was dark, I didn't really understand what we were doing here though. "This place is scary" Kiara says "John B what are we doing?" I asks

"You know when you're trying to remember a song and you can't remember who sings it?" John B questions "yeah" Kiara replies

"So Redfield, this whole time I thought it was a place, right? But it's not a place, it's a person" he explains as he points his lighter on a grave with the name Redfield on it

"Voi-effing-là" JJ says "see, it's my great-great-
grandmothers name, Olivia Redfield, that was her maiden name" he says as we all points our lights on her grave

"Help me with the door, come on" John B says before we all starts pushing the door "this door is like 700 pounds it's not gonna budge" Pope says before a snake appears

"Jesus fucking crist" I jumps "Whoa!" Pope says "A snake!" JJ says "yeah no fucking way" I tease him "woah woah woah woah" pope says "that's a moccasin, all right" JJ says as he starts barking on him

"JJ shut up!" Kiara says "you're gonna wake the dead man" pope says "they're afraid of dogs, everyone knows that" JJ says

"Wait hold on" JJ says grabbing John B "what?" I asks "if there's one, there's probably dozens" JJ says "stop you are scaring me" Kiara says "seriously dude, stop" I says before he starts braking again

"Stop braking at the snakes" John B says "shut up! Shut up" Pope say to JJ and he finally stops braking. "look, John we're not gonna get in there, all right? It's not budging. We should probably just go" Pope says

"I can get through" I says "what? you think you're gonna fit through the whole?" John B asks "just help me move the stems you lazy asses" I says and they all move it

I just wanted to help them, part of me wanted to show them I can help and be useful because I was scared that they would regret joining me eventually. I don't know, I just missed hanging out around them

"Got it?" I asks "yeah, we got it" JJ answers "give her a boost" John B says "I am gonna boost you all right" JJ says

"I've seen it in movies several times. Ready?" He asks "remind me what we're looking for" I says "you'll know when you see it" John B says

"yeah just take the random girl who knows basically nothing to do this without instructions. this is smart" I says as I put my feet on JJ's hand giving me a boost and helping me get through the whole

"I am in. Flashlights" I says and they hands me a flashlight. "you alive? You got like a- a heartbeat and everything?" John B asks "I think so" I says "that's good, that's good" he says

"Did you find something?" JJ asks as I notice a note with the words "for bird" on it "oh my god" I says walking to it, realising maybe John B was right "is there a gold?" JJ asks

"that's not gold" Pope says after I hands them the note "holy shit" John B says "this is from my dad" he adds "code red! Code red! Square groupers! Square groupers!" JJ says "go" Kiara says helping me climbs out of the whole

"It's the guys who robbed your house John B" JJ says "don't say that" I says getting anxious "do you think it's them?" Kiara asks with panic "homie's got a gun" JJ says "screw this" Kiara says running away and we all follows her

"Right there!" The man yells and we all were running towards the Twinkie "hurry up" JJ says as we were climbing on a fence "go!" Kiara says "guys, guys" pope says, I sees his pants got stuck on the fence

"I got you" kiara says as she walk towards Pope trying to help get him down of the fence "Pope, don't move okay?" JJ pulls his gun out of his pocket and pointing it at Popes pants, I quickly grabs his hands putting the gun down "wait you're gonna rip me" Pope tells Kiara

"You are fine come on" Kiara says, Pope's pants got ripped an stuck at the fence leaving him with boxers making me laugh "nice! Come on, dude" JJ says "oh my god what have I got myself into" I says

"Come on" Kiara says as we all were running towards the Twinkie laughing "get in" JJ says "Stupid" Kiara says teasing Pope and laughing at him as we drove away

"Hey can you drop me at the Camerons?" I asks "missed Rafe?" JJ asks "more like missed Sarah" I corrects him "uh sure, don't you wanna see what's in the latter though? After all you were  the one who got it" John B says

"I don't know I feel like it's something about you and your dad and I don't want you to feel uncomfortable having me around" I says

"I won't feel uncomfortable-" he says "look, thank you for involving me in this thing but you don't have to pretend I am one of you, it's fine" I says

He nods "thank you for today guys" I says as we arrives at the Cameron's "it's nice seeing you again, Haley" Pope says, I gives him a smile before I walks away

I knocks on the door before Sarah opens it for me "hey!" She says hugging me "where have you been?" She asks as we both goes upstairs to her room,

"I have so much to tell you" I says "it'll be a lot more fun with beer" she whispers "I'll watch out" I says before she goes to her dad's fridge, grabbing some beer. We rushes to her room with giggles

"Okay, now we can starts gossiping" she hands me beer "thank you, madam" I takes a sip "come on!" She says making me laugh

"Okay, so me and Rafe had a fight today, and after that I went to the pogues, but don't tell him" I says "wait, hold on. I am not following. Why did you fight this time?" she says

"He found out that I was hanging out with them" I explains "screw him" she says

"Wait since when do you start hanging out with the pogues again?" She asks "a few days ago, Rafe don't like it thought" I answers

"I know he's my brother but he can go to hell, you are having fun but he don't like this. I know how much you likes them, I am glad that you are spending time with them again" she says making me smile

"Why can't Rafe see that" I sighs "he is just being an asswhole" Sarah shrugs

"I promised Rafe I would stay away from them but I don't know what I should do" I says "do you want to stay away from the pogues?" She asks, the answer to that was pretty easy. "No, they makes me happy" I answers

"Then don't, it's simple. You shouldn't give up on things that makes you happy because of him" she says "yeah that makes sense" I says

"I heard some yelling from his room today, I was worried about you" she says making me look down "I am fine don't worry"

"Me and Topper had a fight about the pogues too after I decided to defend John B" she says "why man are so stupid?" I questions "I don't know, it's a mystery" she says

"Why do I and eveyone I love pick people who treats us like we're nothing?" Sarah question "we accept the love we think we deserve" I simply answers as we share a look

"If you only could see yourself from my eyes you'd know how awesome you are" I adds

"I think you're the only one who actually knows how to cheer me up" she says "seriously?" I asks "yeah" she says offering me a smile

"No matter whats happening, it's always gonna be me and you, fuck Rafe, fuck Topper. we got each other" she says "thank for that, I needed this" I says "always" she replies

I am so glad I have her, I haven't told her Rafe got physical with me because I don't want her to worry about me more than she already does.

And besides, he is her brother. I don't want her to feel any different about him because of me

She don't know how she helps me without even knowing it. Only talking with her makes me feel way better, she honestly deserves the world.

A/n: I really like this chapter, it shows more about Sarah and Haley's friendship and chemistry, they are so cute I love them
In the other hand Haley and Rafe's relationship only gets worse...
