We were all in the Chateau after John B came back. When he came back he brought Big John with him, we were all so genuinely happy to see him back

They were just back, so we didn't know what happened, but for the moment, we were just so happy to see them both

At first, none of us believed Big John was alive, John B was the only one with hope

And even though we all told him he's not going to find him, he didn't give up for one second. I admire him for that

"Hey" I laughs as I was about to hug him "hi" he coldly says as he rejects my hug and walks passes me

"Look at you, big man! Look at you!" Big John embrace Pope before Jay jumps on his back. I watches John spins with Jay on his back

I can get why he's not very happy to see me. I am the daughter of the man who tried to kill him. If I was Big John, I would've hate me too.

I don't even know why I expected him to be happy to see me, honestly. When we were younger, since 3rd grade until I left the Pogues because of Rafe and my dad, I used to spend a lot of time with Jay, John B and Big John

Jay used to spend a lot of time at the Chateau because of his dad, he hated coming back home. And my parents weren't home a lot, they were workaholic so I used to spend there a lot of time either

I have those special memories with them, Big John taught me how to surf, Jay used to always laugh at me that I am bad at surfing so he would take me to the beach once a week and teach me for a whole day

At some point I got really good at surfing, I could easily beat Jay now, thanks to Big John. But at some point Big John got really busy so he stopped doing this kind of things, now when u look back I realise he was busy with the treasure haunt.

I just hoped he'd figure I am different than my father.

"Yeah, yeah so we, um... we went to the archives in Charleston, and, uh... it was, it was a dead end" John B says as we all sits outside, he was explaining us everything that had happened with them

"A dry hole, so..." John B adds, he seems off, I don't know exactly why. I looks at Jay and sees he notices it too

"So that's the gold, the cross and now El Dorado. Were three for three guys" Pope throws a stick he was paying with

"The streak continues" Pope scoffs "that's great" he walks away "see you, John B" Kie walks away as well

"I am gonna go too" I stands up "hey, don't you wanna stay for a bit?" Jay whispers as he stands up as well

"I really wanna go" I whispers with watery eyes before I leave "Hale- Hales" he follows me "I wanna go home" I says

"Hey, stop for a second" he says, he grabs my shoulder, I stops in the middle of the street and looks at him "what's the wrong?" He says before I starts crying

"Hales, talk to me" he says "I just wish... that I can go someplace where nobody knows me" I sobs before he pulls me into a hug

"Where is this coming from?" He asks "he hates me" I sobs "what?" He asks "Big John, he hates me. Because of my father" I says

"He doesn't hate you" he faces me "he does" I shakes my head "no, Hales-"

"I mean who could blame him? My father almost killed him" I cuts him off "you are not your father" Jay says

"All the memories I got with Big John, it's all gone, don't you get it? I am not me, everything people will see in me is my father, even the ones I used to be so close with. I am not my own person anymore, I am my father" I says

"He just needs to talk to you and he'll see that you're different" he says "it doesn't matter, he could never be able to trust me, and John B couldn't either" I freeze for a second "what is it?" He asks "I lost John B too" I realises

"Haley, you're freaking out" he says "I was so excited to find out he's alive, you know? What a loss to spend that much time with someone only to find out he's a stranger" I says

"He just needs to talk with you, I promise. He'll see you're not your father. Everyone who knows you does" he says "I just..." I travels off "what?" He asks "what if we're not that different?" I asks

"What? Are you listening to yourself? What are you taking about?" He asks "I was a terrible person lately... with the drugs" I says

"That doesn't make you your father, he was a... murderer" he says "and I am the daughter of a murderer, I have his blood running in my veins, I have the same mind and we share the same heart, a cold one. I am my father's daughter" I says

"You're not just your father's daughter, you're Haley. Grace Baker. You're Haley, my Haley. You are so special and sensitive. Yes, you have problems, and yes, you're struggling, but that doesn't make you your father" he says

"Did you see the way he looked at me?" I questions "he doesn't know you" he says "we're talking about Big John, if he doesn't know me who does?" I asks

"John B was also seems off, I know you noticed it too. Maybe something is going on that we don't know about" he says "yes, it's me. I told you, I lost John B too" I says

"You didn't lose anyone-" he says "you know, what? I can't deal with this right now" I walks away "Haley don't go" he slightly grabs my arm

"I wanna go home" I says "I can't let you go by yourself" he slightly grabs my hand "what?" I asks

"Sonia is working. She's not home" he says "Sonia?" I chuckles "yes, Sonia. Your ma who is worried about you constantly" he says

"Yeah she's my ma, she's not your fucking parent so stop pretending she is" I says "you're trying to argue me so I would let you go, but you're not fooling anyone" he says

"She never trusted you that's why she drug tested you" he adds "oh" I laughs as I shakes my head

"I can't let you go" he repeats "why?" I asks "you know why" He says "no, Jay. Tell me why. Why can't you let me go off by myself?" I insists

"Last time I let you go you relapsed!" he says "I am not in that place I was anymore" I says "you're emotional, I can't let you go off by yourself" he says

"You have to go to work" I says "then come with me" he says "this is ridiculous, I am seventeen! I can go by myself" I says

"Kyle wouldn't give me drugs and I won't go back to Jesse's, you know I won't" I adds "it doesn't matter, I just don't want you to be by yourself" he says

"You're overreacting" I rolls my eyes "I gave up smoking weed since I lived with you because I didn't want you to find some, I gave up everything you couldn't touch. I am happy I did, it's fine. And I waited and I never complained because I-" he sighs before he continues

"I figured you want to stay clean, Hales" he says "I do!" I argues "look me in the eyes and tell me you weren't planning to buy drugs" he stands standing in front of me and points two fingers at his eyes

"I-" I says, but can't let the words out. I can't lie to him, not after I lied to him so much in the past about this subject. After a few moments I've been quite in, he shakes his head

"I want to get clean, I can't do it" I sobs before he pulls me into a hug "I just- I don't want to be here anymore" I cries in his shoulder

"It's okay" he says "I am sorry- I am sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just... I don't know what to do" I cries

"I know, it's okay" he nods "I am sorry, I am sorry, Jay. I didn't mean to-" I says "it's okay" he whispers as he faces me

"I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry Jay- I didn't mean to-" I says "hey, come with me to my job. Bring me some company while I'll try to convince Guffy to hire me again" he cuts me off, I sniffs and nods my head

"You got me, okay? You got Sonia. You have a way to get out of this, I promise you. You'll get out of this. I'll fight for you" he says, I slightly smiles

"What?" He chuckles "thank you" I says "for what?" He asks "for loving me" I answers, he wraps his hand around my neck as we continues walking

"I love loving you" he offers me a smile before he kisses my chick. I looks at him and wonder if he knows that he saved my life, multiple times.

I was watching Jay talking to this boss, trying to talk to him into giving him his job back after he has been gone for weeks

I was sitting by the dock, waiting. It didn't seem like it's been going too great for Jay, they have been arguing for a while. After a few moments he walks towards me, seems upset

"What happened?" I asks "he thinks I stole Rafe's boat" he answers "it's not Rafe's boat it's the Cameron's, Sarah was with us" I says

"That's what I told him. But apparently if it's on Rafe's name we stole it" he says "maybe if I'll talk to him-" I says

"Forget about it, it doesn't matter okay?" He sighs "are you sure?" I asks "yeah, I'll find something else" he gives me a smile before holds my hand

"You shouldn't be so stressed about it, you know you live with a kook now" I smirks "you and Sonia has been great, but just because I live with kooks doesn't mean I supposed to act like one" he says

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asks "that at the end of the day you're a kook and I am a Pogue" he says "I am just saying you shouldn't be so stressed about it, why are you getting into that Kook-Pogue bullshit?" I says

"I am not getting into that-" he says before something catch his attention. He signs me to be quite, when it is quite enough I can the familiar voices I hate

"Damn, Rafe. Come on, Country Club. Bro, how are you gonna have this and not even tell me!" I hears Barry, I sees them on Rafe's boat

"Let's just go" I says "you got a whole damn YMCA up on this bitch, dude" Barry says "Barry! Time to think. All right? We need to make a move" Rafe says

"That's all we do, bro. We been making moves" Barry says as Jay hides and continues listening and watching them

"Yeah, well, we don't have much time" Rafe says "Jay, let's go" I whispers "shh, get down" he whispers

"Come down here. You're not gonna believe this shit" Rafe says before they gets off our sighs "they're gone, let's go now" I says

"They're talking about the cross, Hales" Jay says "they walked away, it doesn't matter" I says as I watches him think "no, don't do anything stupid, please" I says before he takes off his shoes

"You can stay here" he says "I just told you not to do anything stupid-" before I could finish the sentence, the dude was already in the water swimming to Rafe's boat.

"Fuck it" I takes off my shoes and follows Jay "you're a very bad influence, Jay" I mumbles as we swims "be quite" he whispers as we stops by Rafe's boat

"I am just saying we need to take this shit seriously. Dude, bro. I should get a tooth made out of this, huh?" Barry says

"Look, don't be touching the shit. Just put it back" Rafe says "so paranoid, bro" Barry says "I don't care about the cross, I am just trying to make money" Rafe says

"Asshole" I mumbles "I told you, my aunt, she got some contacts. She gonna help us move these little bitches. The gems, the nuggets, the whole damn melted enchilada" Barry says before me and Jay shares a look

"These gems are mint, man. The gold's bullion. We're selling it in bars" Rafe says before Jay starts swimming back

"What the fuck?" Jay says as we gets to the dock and starts tying our shoes back "please tell me I didn't hear that right" I says

"Pope is gonna be divested" Jay says "should we go tell him?" I asks, Jay slightly nods

"Pope, Pope!" Jay runs towards Heyward's shop, where we sees Pope talking to Cleo "yo, bombshell" he grunts

"What is going on? What happened?" I asks as I notice Pope and Cleo seems off "detecting a real heavy vibe. What's going on?" Jay asks

"Pope's quitting school" Cleo says "what?" I asks "being a corner's kind of weird anyway" Jay says "shut up, wrench dick" Pope says

"Pope, you can't quite school" I says "right, great. So its definitely not the time for this" Jay says "oh yeah, we got bad news" I says

"Okay, shit. Uh..." Jay travels off "what?" Cleo asks "so I was down at Guffy's, all right. I was trying to get my job back" Jay starts

"And I see the carry across the way, and on it..." he breathes heavily "is Rafe and Barry. We sneak over to hear what they're talking" he says

"Pope, he has the cross. And he melted it down" he adds "I am sorry, man" I says as he stands up "I know, I know" Jay sits down

"Fuck!" Pope let out a yell "of course it was Rafe" Pope adds "yeah, I mean, we probably could've guessed that" Jay says

"The Cross of Santi Domingo, desecrated! For money? God!" Pope says "I know, so... I think we need to stay calm to make a plan, but we do tot stay-" Jay was cut off by Pope who grabs a heron and smashed on the floor

"Getting better at that" Jay says "this is messed up, man. Even for them" Pope says "I know. Couldn't agree more, man" Jay says

"They're just gonna keep getting away with it. They're gonna keep doing that shit. Gonna keep winning" Pope says

"I mean, Pope, is that news to you?" Jay questions "no. But I am sick of being the good guy" Pope walks away

"Pope?" I asks "Pope? Where are you going?" Cleo asks "we can't let him lose it" I says
