"Hahahaha! Look! She can't even stand!"

I grunt and tried to stand but my stomach hurts and I fell back down.

"Sasha be easy on her, she's just a freshman after all."

I growled and look down.
"Gene come on that's not like you."

"You're right Zenix....this is not like me at all. What am I even thinking?"

"N-no...." I mumbled.

"Hey!"

I look up and saw a guy standing in front of all of us.

"Who the heck are you?" Gene asks.

"None of your concerns, now leave her alone!"

"Ugh he's that young brother of Garroth." Said Sasha.

"Garroth eh?" Gene asks.

Gene steps up and the guy which i can see clearly and it was Vylad.

"Yeah, does it matter?"

"Well I hate to mention this, but your brother ruined us."

"I hardly believe that."

"You know how it started?"

"How?"

"A single punch..."

Gene lifted up his hand and was about to punch Vylad, but Vylad caught his fist.

Gene tried taking it back, but Vylad has a strong grip on it.

"Let go of me!"

"Not until you leave her alone...."

Gene then pulled back and rubbed his hand. He scowled. "Come on guys."

"But Gene yo—"

"Now Zenix!"

Gene turned and left with the other two following.
I stayed on the ground with my stomach still aching in pain.

I saw a hand in front of me and I look up to see Vylad smiling at me.

"Hey you Okay?"

I stayed silent and held onto his hand. He helped me up, but I stumbled a bit though he caught me.

I look up at him and blushed. "I-I-I'm Okay....t-thanks Vylad...."

"No problem, but you shouldn't let them pick you like that."

"....I-i'm just n-not strong e-enough...."

Vylad then held onto my shoulders which spooked me a bit. "Don't say that. You are strong, I've seen you during sports class and saw how you kicked that soccer ball into the goal or should I say through that goal.
You literally kicked so hard to have the net snap."

I chuckled  but look down. "B-But everyone sees m-me a-as T-travis' dumb sister...."

"Don't let that take away your strength. You're strong and I know it. You know it too.

You're strong...."

I opened my eyes and look around me.

I look down at me and saw something horrifying.
"X-x-xander....."

He turned to me, blood pouring out of his mouth and a stab wound on his stomach.
".......I-I p-p-promised....I-I'll h-help you......"

He closed his eyes and I cried. No this can't be!
I look up and saw Vylad having Phoebe In his arms and pulled her close to him.

The sight haunts me. Him bringing Phoebe closer to her and.....

•Third person View•

(Y/n) can't help but cry some more to the sight of Vylad, her husband, kissing his ex-girlfriend.

(Y/n) clenched her fists as she tried to pull them to break the ice. She remember the words Vylad said to her in Highs school.

That she is strong.
No matter what

She managed to break one of her hands free and then the other. She used a plasma ball to break her legs free and the 'couple' snapped their heads at her.

(Y/n) said nothing but blasted a fire ball at Phoebe Who was knocked onto a tree.

Vylad was never seen so angry and launched at (y/n) with his shadow knight form, sword in hand.

•YOUR POV•

I couldn't run away.

He'll never do this to me.

He's just under a spell.

A horrible spell....

But I'm strong.

*SLICE*

"Y-you....I HATE YOU!!!"

I felt the blood trickling down from my mouth and I just stared at Vylad.

".....y-you don't....
Come b-back to me....

Muffin......"

*BLACK OUT*

"NOW!"

Xander jolted up to stand up and held Vylad down. Vylad resisted and I look and saw Phoebe in a forcefield casted by Gene causing everyone to return back to normal from stone.

"WHAT?! B-BUT HOW?!" Phoebe yelled.

"It's called acting my dear and a bit of fake death spell." I walked towards Phoebe.
"You see once I knew that Aphmau and Aaron were missing and that weird things happened afterwards, I put the pieces together and just knew that you had a little help on your plan.

All i knew was that you kidnapped Aphmau and Aaron, but you didn't want anything from them. So I suspected and just knew this 'someone' wants something from them and what comes to my mind?
Ein....."

"URGGHHHH!!! NO!!"

"Mmmhmmm. So when you kidnapped my daughter I knew that I would have to meet you and give you a price for her back and if I or Vylad disagree you'll have to force your way to the prize.

Meaning you hit Vylad with the forever potion, I casted me and Xander the fake death spell. I say something cheesy and depressing, break the forever spell and here we are now."

"NOOO!" Phoebe kept banging on the barrier and cried.
"THIS WAS NOT HOW IT'S SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN!!!"

"We'll take care of her from here, (Y/n)." Jungkook said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Jungkook."

"Phoebe Magma, you're under arrest for child abduction and many many more."

Before Jungkook and the other officers take her away I stopped them.
"Wait."
I faced Phoebe who looked at me with anger and tears running down her face.
"Where's Aphmau and Aaron?"

"Hehe....why should I tell you?"

"Because there are two children waiting for their mother and father to get back to them."

"And why do I care?"

"Because I do." Vylad stepped up next to me and bring me to his side.
"Phoebe just tell us and we'll help you when you're in custody. I know you before all of this."

Phoebe looked at Vylad and growled. She took out something from her pocket and threw it at us, through the barrier.
"Take it! Now leave me alone!"

Vylad grabbed it and it was a pouch full of forever powder. "Thank you...." he said.

The officers with magics take Phoebe out of the forest while the rest of them stayed with us.

"We should split. Some of us should be in the cars cause some of us are actually hurt." Katelyn said.

"I'll take Maya with us too." Travis said.

"Alright, the rest come with us. This is not the end of the battle." I said.

Vylad handed the pouch to Blaze and he sniffed it. He starts walking and we all follow. He leads us through the forest and we were upon a cave.

"In there...." Blaze said.

"Some of you guys have to stay out Incase there are hostages." Jungkook said to the officers.

We all slowly go inside. It was dark, but we can see a light in the distance.
I walked in front of everyone and I look around the corner at the room.

I gasped. There were cages.
1 cage had Lucinda, another had Lea and another had Aaron.
But then there was a big cage over a lava pit with two people.

I look around and the coast was clear.
I ran into the room with everyone behind me.

"(Y/n)? Guys!" Lucinda exclaim.

I ran towards her and shushed her.
"We'll get you out..."

I flicked my fingers and a little flame came out. I break the lock with the fire and open the cage door.

"My staff...." Lucinda said.

"Where is it?"

"Your dad.....he has it and with the spell book we had long ago. He took those two things just a few minutes ago, into that room." Lucinda pointed at a opening.

"Okay, now you need to get out. There are people outside waiting, I'll get those things back."

"Be careful there's also—"

"Ein, I know and I know he's with Aph...."

"Good luck." Lucinda hugged me then ran out with Lea.

"(Y/n), we got a problem." Vylad called me.

I walked up to him and saw the cage over the Lava.

Rick....?

"Rick! Wake up!"

He didn't budge and there was another guy in there that had burned marks.

I casted a spell to have a small bridge connecting to the cage. I walk up to the cage and unlocked it.

Some of the guys followed with me and carried the two guys and brought them out.

I got out of the cage and turned to the room. I felt Vylad places his hand on my shoulder.

I turned to Vylad.
"I need you to help me...."
