Harry Potter meets the one, the only- oh, so I'm not the only Percy Jackson?

  Harry groans, his eyes opening to see the familiar cupboard ceiling. A loud, rapid series of knocks echoes throughout the tiny space. "Get up!" Vernon's voice yells, Harry wincing at the noise. He slowly sits up and gets dressed.
Less than a minute later, he walks out of his cupboard, head down. The small, eight-year-old boy sits in the corner, shoulders hunched. A small, dried apple is in his hands, and he eats it rapidly. He stands up, turns, and leaves.
   He runs out the door, small glittering tears rolling down his face. Vernon and Petunia call for him, yelling at him to "come back here and work!"

An hour later and the messy black hair on top of Harry's head ruffles in the wind. He walks along the side walk with his head down when he comes to the front of a dentist shop. He knocks shyly, tired of walking, and turns to leave after a few seconds of no one arriving. He had planned to knock on very door until he could find a places to shelter, and leave after five or so seconds if they didn't answer. Suddenly the door swings open, startling Harry. "Hello?" A woman calls. She looks down and sees Harry's malnourished body with dark bags under his eyes. She quickly scoops him up and brings him inside.
   Harry hears a phone ring. "Hello? Is this the police?" Silence. "Yes yes. This is Mrs. Granger, there is a small kid sitting in my office." A few muttered words later, Mrs. Granger calls out to Harry. "What's your name, dear?" She asks. "H-Harry Potter ma'am." He replies softly, looking down at the ground. She repeats the name into the phone.  "Okay, thank you." She ends the call and puts away the phone.

A small girl with bushy, mouse-brown hair peers out from the corner. A book is tucked under her arm, her curious eyes staring at him. Harry shifts nervously, eyes darting around, the girl's stare making him uncomfortable.

A few minutes of silence later, and the police are pulled up to the office. A short-ish woman with brown hair walks in, smiling sweetly. "I'm Sally Jackson, who are you?" She asks Harry. Harry smiles, eyes lighting up. "Harry Potter!" He exclaims, instantly at ease with this woman for some reason. She just seemed to have a nice aura. Then a small boy with black hair and sea-green eyes peers out from behind Sally. He stumbles forwards, eyes darting around, hands fidgeting.
Harry looks at him curiously, so does the young girl, but Sally catches his attention. "How come you're here little guy? Do you have a home?" She asks. Harry nods slowly and blurts out, "But they hate me! They aren't even my parents! Don't send me back! Please!" Tears stream down his fear-stricken face as he shakes. Sally's eyes soften as the small boy who was hiding behind her runs over and hugs Harry.
"Okay Harry. Where did you live previously? Who are the people you live with?" Sally asks softly, glancing at the small boy being hugged. "Uhm.. Privet Drive, Petunia and Vernon Dursley." He replies. Sally nods, and gestures to one of the police officers behind her. They leave and drive away.
The small girl interrupts. "I'm Hermione. Hermione Granger." She states, her chin up slightly. Sally looks at the unknown boy. "That's Percy. He's my son." She introduces. Percy looks up at his mom, and he's standing next to Harry. Which he has been a while after a brief hug that lasted maybe one second. Harry smiles, a childish grin on his face. "Tag! You're it!" He exclaims, only knowing the game from watching other kids playing. He taps Hermione who scowls, gently places the book down, and chases after him. Percy laughs and joins in.

A few years later...
Harry, now ten, almost eleven, runs into the Granger's kitchen. Now their adopted son, and with Percy as his best friend, he was extremely happy. Sally had been stationed to the area a few years ago, which is why she was there, and she was one of Mrs. Granger's best friends. Hermione runs into the room waving two letters. "Harry! Harry! Look!" She exclaims, grinning. He snatches one out of her hand, and sees the letter is addressed to him.
He turns. "Mom! Dad! Look!" Both he and Hermione start laughing, waving letters. A seal with an H and a lion, snake, Eagle, and badger surrounding it is keeping the letter shut. Hermione carefully opens it.
After reading the letter, she looks at Harry excitedly. "I'm a witch and you're a wizard!" She squeals. Her parents look at her, and Harry hands them his unopened letter. Sure enough, that's what it's says.

A while later, after shopping in Diagon Alley they had somehow gotten to, Hermione was reading a huge book that was on the list. "Harry! Look! You're in here!" She exclaims. Before he could look over, Percy knocks on the door. Harry flings it open, and his best friend charges in, grinning. "I'm going to a summer camp in America!" He squeals. Harry's shoulders slump. "I'm going to school..." he murmurs. Percy frowns. "That sucks." He tells the older boy, who's a month older than him. Harry shrugs, grinning. "At least I can read." He teases. Percy pouts, shoving him. Harry grins again, and shoved him back. It quickly evolves into a play fight, Hermione egging then on. She cheers for her adopted brother, but stops abruptly when her parents walk in.
Harry and Percy immediately stop, smiling innocently, and the Grangers laugh. Mrs. Granger tousles the boys' hair, and calls to Harry and Hermione that they have to start packing. Percy pouts, and Sally calls for Percy. "Darling, we have to leave!" Percy sighs, waving bye to his friends, and races off.

A few months later...
Harry nervously gets on the train to Hogwarts, Hermione right next to him. Right before the train leaves though, a boy and a girl run over yelling to wait. They hurriedly board, looking for a place to sit. The girl spots Harry's carriage, and points it out. They rush over, and Harry and Hermione call out the boy's name. "Percy!" They exclaim, patting the seat. A redheaded boy, who was already sitting there, glares at the newcomers, but Percy doesn't notice. "Harry! Hermione!" He shouts, walking into the carriage and giving them a hug. "Annabeth! Come on, sit here." He tells the blonde girl. She scowls, but sits down close to Percy.
Harry stares at her. She has long, curly blonde hair, tanned skin, and startling gray eyes. Percy notices Harry staring and glares, a scowl prominent on his face. Harry glanced at him and shrugs as if to say, "I'm just looking." Percy narrows his eyes, but looks away. He subconsciously scoots a little closer to Annabeth and immediately notices the redhead. "Who is that?" He growls, a look of distrust on his face. Annabeth has her hand in her pocket and so does Percy, both are staring at the redhead. "I'm Ron." He states, eyebrows raised.
"I don't trust him." Annabeth says immediately. Percy doesn't say anything, just slowly pulls a pen out of his pocket. "Percy!" Annabeth retorts sharply, and he scowls and puts the pen away. "What's that?" Ron asks curiously. Annabeth, Percy, Hermione, and Harry stare at him. "It's a pen." Percy states, pulling it back out. Annabeth takes it from him, fiddles with it a bit, putting the cap on the back, and a small point pops out.
Ron stares in awe, and asks what it does. Annabeth sighs, closing the pen, and handing it back to Percy. "It writes. Like a quill." She replies, rolling her eyes. A look of amazement crosses Ron's face.
   "Can I see your wands?" Hermione pipes up. Annabeth and Percy glance at each other, confused, and then realization dawns on their faces. Anna be the and Percy reach into their pockets and pull out their wands. Percy snatches Annabeth's and she pouts at him, laughing, trying to get it back. The robes that they stored above them, Percy's robes, fall on top of them, much to Annabeth and Percy's amusement. Annabeth grabs the robes and throws them onto Percy's lap, both of them grinning.
  Harry glances at Hermione, both of them have plans forming in their head for the two.
   Percy stops laughing and looks looks at his wand. It's smoothed out, but his senses of the ocean tell him it's driftwood. A dragon heartstring is the center, the wand 13 inches long and slightly springy. (A/N, I have no clue whatsoever what any of it does. Don't correct me or anything, I just felt like doing that. Sorry if it doesn't correspond with what their magic capabilities are.) Hermione's eyes widen slightly, and Annabeth pulls hers out. It's a light gray, ash wood, and has a Phoenix feather center. It's 11 3/4 inches long and very springy. She nods in appreciation, and they both stash their wands. Hermione looks outside, "Ack! Harry! Percy! We need to get changed!" she squeaks. Annabeth goes bright red, and she and Hermione quickly leave the carriage.
After a few moments, Percy and the rest of the guys exit the carriage. Annabeth and Hermione rush in and change. "We're done!" They exclaim, and the boys walk back in.

After a while, and a lot of chatter from everyone but Ron, who was still untrustworthy according to the two demigods, they arrive. "First years! O'er here!" A large man calls. He has dark hair, and a shaggy black beard. Annabeth's eyes narrow, and she whispers something to Percy. He nods slowly, and they both slow down as they walk over. "We're riding the boats to Hogwarts." Percy looks at the lake, over at Annabeth, back at the lake, then back to Annabeth. Annabeth starts to say something, a warning on her face, but Percy simply grins and jumps in.
Everyone frantically watches, waiting for him to surface. He eventually does, riding the giant squid with the mermaids surrounding him. "YEAH! WHOOOO!" He screams, but stops immediately when he hears Annabeth. "PERSEUS JACKSON!" She roars angrily, and he sheepishly turns and looks at her. He hops off, waving bye to the squid and mermaids, before appearing at the shore a moment later.
"Alright, Sorry." He mutters, not meaning it at all. "BYE!" He screeches again, this time taking a fuming Annabeth with him. He jumps in, pulling her in. Harry and Hermione watch frantically, boarding their boat with Ron and some other boy. They peer over the side, and Hermione shrieks when Percy pops up, walking on the water. "Yo." He says, Annabeth next to him. She inhales to yell at him, and he immediately drops into the water. The Hs (Hermione and Harry) watch nervously as Percy and Annabeth swim alongside them. Suddenly the both shoot forwards, and it looks like Percy is.. laughing?

Sure enough, when the two get to shore, Percy is roaring with laughter. "Annabeth! You should've seen your face! Haha!" He cries out, tears of laughter actually in his eyes. She scowls at him but her eyes are mirthful. "Oh, shut it Seaweed Brain." She mutters. "Owl head." "Kelp face." "Wise Girl. "Seaweed Brain." Annabeth repeats. They mock scowl but Percy breaks first. He laughs again, causing Annabeth to join in.
Everyone stares in bewilderment.

A few minutes and a strange song later, they slowly are getting sorted. "HERMIONE GRANGER!" Silence. "GRYFFINDOR!" After a few minutes.. "HARRY POTTER!" Silence. "GRYFFINDOR!" An uproar of applause and a chant of "WE GOT POTTER!" Erupts from the Gryffindor table. Finally, after ten more names, "Annabeth Chase!" Mrs. McGonagall calls.
She walks up slowly, throwing a helpless glance over at Percy. He smiles reassuringly, and she relaxes slightly. She places the hat in her head.

~~~
I sigh, placing the hat on my head. "Hmm.. Annabeth Chase, was it?" It asks, I tense and think, "Yes." "Hmm... You value knowledge and wisdom, yet are extremely brave and prideful. You will do whatever it takes to get to your goal. You don't belong in one house, you belong in three.. What to do..." The hat muses. I bite my lip, just wishing that Percy and I at least get the same house. "Oh? A special someone?" The hat asks. My ears warm, and in my mind I shred the hat. "No! Percy and I are just really close!" I respond. I can imagine the hat rolling its eyes. "What to do indeed?" It murmurs. Mrs. McGonagall walks over. "What is it?" She asks. The hat speaks to her, explaining I have three dominant traits. She bites her lip, and calls over Percy. The Hall goes silent as Percy looks up. He slowly walks over, and places a hand on my shoulder reassuringly. I smile at him, my best friend because of that stupid quest. Well, not really stupid.
"Percy?" I ask softly. He glances down at me. "Hm?" He asks. I blink slowly, and before I can respond, Mrs. McGonagall asks him to put the hat on.
~~
I glance at Annabeth, and she nods, her golden curls bouncing. I sigh, taking the hat off her head and putting it on mine. "Well, Perseus Jackson. You value Loyalty, a trait of a Hufflepuff, and yet are extremely brave, a Griffyndor trait. You would do anything to achieve your personal goals, and have no regard for authority." I roll my eyes. "No, not because my dad is a- actually, I shouldn't tell you that. Annabeth would kill me. Speaking of her, I would prefer to be in the same house as her and Harry, as well as Hermione." I ramble, the hat silent. It groans, and tells me, "Fine." It inhales deeply, wait, Hats can inhale? Weird. I wonder if- NO. "Well.. PERCY JACKSON AND ANNABETH CHASE!" The hat exclaims. "GRYFFINDOR!" It yells. Annabeth and I high five each other, and the table with a lion banner claps, roaring with approval. We both rush over and sit next to Harry and Hermione.
A few months later, Harry, Annabeth, Percy, and Draco were all in detention. "Now then, there's somethin' that ain't supposed to be here, and it's been snackin' on unicorns. There's an injured one 'round 'ere, so we're splittin' up to find it." Hagrid explains. Percy sighs and closes his eyes.
     He points in a direction, eyes still closed. "That way. I can sense it." He states. Annabeth sighs. "Percy, you know we aren't allowed to- actually, this is an emergency. Carry on." Hagrid narrows his eyes, and they split up anyways. Annabeth with Percy, and Harry with Draco. The demigods get Fang, the other two accompany Hagrid.
After what seems like an eternity, Percy and Annabeth stumble across an injured unicorn. "Lord..." Percy hears. He rushes forwards, whispering soothing words to the Unicorn, and Annabeth shoots red sparks from her wand. Percy looks up in time to see a shadow figure slither over the ground towards him. He yells, uncapping Riptide, and slices down. It simply passes through the creature. Percy lets out a ear-piercing scream, angry he cant help the Unicorn, and the creature freezes. Percy's grip on the thing's blood loosens as he realized what he did. He backs away, staring at his hands, and bumps into Annabeth. He whirls around, fear dancing in his eyes, but before he can say anything to one of his best friends, Hagrid crashes through the trees with Harry and Draco.
Harry cries out, clutching his forehead, and Percy rushes over to him, the previous minute forgotten. Percy gently rubs the other boy's back, trying to get him to relax. Annabeth watches the shadowy figure and growls as it slithered away. "Percy, I'm going after it!" She yells. Percy's head snapped over to her and he abruptly stood up. He chased after her, grabbing her arm. "Oh no you are not! We can't kill that thing with our weapons, we'd only get hurt. We can look for it once we know how to kill it." He tells her. Annabeth grumbles but obliges, deciding not to continue the chase. (Haha. Chase.)
Percy glances up at Hagrid, a pleading expression on his face. " Can we please go back now?" He asks him, then freezes. 'Lord.. p-please.' Percy slowly turned to the injured unicorn, tears gently rolling down his face. "How can I help you? Please, just tell me. I'm not a healer, I don't know how to heal you." He murmurs, stepping closer to the unicorn. "Bring me out... out... out of this forest. Get me somewhere safe. The wizards... They'll know how to heal me." The unicorn whispers into Percy's mind. Percy nods, shuddering, and walks over to the unicorn. "Help me pick it up and bring it to Hogwarts." He instructs the others, his voice commanding. The other four oblige, the power in his tone startling them.
    A bit later, they arrive at Hogwarts. Hagrid calls out for help, asking for anyone who has medical supplies. He didn't have the needed supplies to help the Unicorn.
   Percy bites his lower lip, glancing around. He inhales deeply then closes his eyes. "Dad.. come help this poor creature. Please. I don't want to see it die." He murmurs, Annabeth barely catching it. "Percy!" She hisses, but before she can do anything else, a wisp if ocean breeze sweeps through the area. Percy sighs, head snapping up to see his father staring at him. "Thank you. Please, heal it." He pleads, voice trembling, and Poseidon nods.
   Poseidon places his hands on the Unicorn, murmuring soft words to it and a soft blue-green glow spreads from beneath his hands. Hagrid lurches forwards to stop him, but can't get close. He growls unhappily but steps back in surprise when the Unicorn stands up. The equine bows to Poseidon then to Percy before bounding back into the forest.
   "Thanks." Percy tells his father. Poseidon smiles warmly at him, dissolving into the wind.
~~
The next day Hermione pesters the three with questions. "Harry, bro, what happened?!" She shrieks at her adopted brother. Harry rolls his eyes, shrugging, a smile drifting lazily across his face. Hermione, not getting an answer out of her brother, whips around to her other best friend. "Percy? Are you going to tell me?" She asks, eyebrows raised. The boy sticks his tongue out at her, shaking his head. Annabeth smacks his shoulder, her mouth attempting to twitch into a smile. She sighs and explains what happened to Hermione.
   After everything is explained, Annabeth glances at her watch. "Ah!! We might be late for class! Come on you three!" She shrieks,  not giving Hermione any time to process what she was told, grabbing Percy's hand and yanking him out of the room and down the hall.
~~~

Four years later...
   "Annabeth! Let me goooooo!" Percy whines, jogging lightly to keep up with Annabeth. Hermione and Harry chase after them, all four getting into the potions classroom as Snape walks to the front to start. Harry and Hermione sit together, panting with exhaustion. Percy and Annabeth sit besides each other, only slightly out of breath. Snape wrinkles his long, hooked nose and starts teaching with a drawling voice. "Today we are making..." Percy zones out, not paying attention.

A minute later and he's working on the potion with Annabeth. He doesn't even bother reading the book, between Annabeth telling him what he needs to do plus the water doing whatever it needs to do to make the potion, he was basically a natural in potions. He had actually managed to gain Snape's respect and the added benefit of it being the one thing he was better than Hermione and Annabeth at in the Wizarding World, it was by far his favorite class. He had hated Quidditch as a first year- he was glad it was no longer required.
    His head snapped up as Snape walked by. "Mr. Jackson... are you daydreaming?" Percy shook his head rapidly. "No, professor, I simply was thinking about the potion." "And which potion is that?" Snape asked, a look of disbelief on his face. "The Draught of Sleeping Death, sir." Percy replied, cringing at the word 'sir' that he hated using. But alas, in Hogwarts he needed to be polite. He looked over at Annabeth when Snape left, her face full of amusement. He scowled playfully at her before finishing the potion.

After potions, Gryffindor's points increased by ten because of Percy and Annabeth, they walked unhappily to Defense against the Dark Arts. "Oh look! Hello, Ms. Pink Toad!" He called to his professor. Umbridge scowled at him. "Detention and five points from Gryffindor," she told him, barely restrained anger apparent. He simply shrugged, tracing the white scars on the back of his hand. He was not looking forward to explaining those to his Mom and the camp.
    "Hem. Turn to page," she got cut off by Percy yelling, "394!" Referencing one of the first potion classes he ever went to. Annabeth shoved him, smiling slightly. Umbridge growled out another punishment, Percy staring at her dead in the eyes. "Your little 'Black Quill' hardly does a thing. I have enough scars as it is." He hissed, turning his nose up disgust. "I don't need more on my hand." Before Umbridge could respond, Harry cried out in pain. Annabeth and Percy rushed over, Ron walking over slowly when he saw the two fretting.

Harry's head snapped up and he shooed his best friends and sister away. "Bloody Hell, chill. I'm fine." He glares at Umbridge. "And this woman needs to realize Voldemort," people flinched at the name, "is back!" Harry finished with vehemence. Percy whistles under his breath, nodding in approval. Umbridge's nostrils flared, eyes narrowing. "Detention. Jackson, Potter, meet at my office after school." She hissed. Percy shrugged, the words 'I must not be disrespectful' carved into his hand in the form of raised white scars. He traced the scars again, standing up abruptly. "I'm leaving." He announced and stalked out of the room.

Annabeth found him lying on his bed with his head buried in his pillow. She sat down next to him, her hand resting on his. "Hey Wise Girl." The teenager murmured. He rolled over and grabbed Annabeth's hand; his eyes were sad and pleading as he looked at Annabeth. She was acutely aware of the fact he wasn't wearing a shirt and all his scars were showing. "Percy! S-s-Someone might come in and see your scars." She stammered. Percy smiled faintly as he said his next remark, "It's okay. Nobody's going to see them."
Annabeth blushed, the joke not slipping past her. The fact that he was shirtless and had abs certainly wasn't helping her. She waved her hands at him, covering her face nervously. "Just- just put a shirt on!" She whined. Percy chuckled and obliged, wrapping her up in an embrace when he slipped on his CHB shirt. She scowled but nuzzled into him anyways, his familiar warmth needed. She started playing with the gray strand of her hair from holding up the sky, Percy doing the same to his own gray strand.

He sighed. "Annabeth... What are we going to do?" Annabeth shrugged in response, for once without a clue. She leaned her head back slightly, Percy's chin resting on top of it. "Percy?" She asked. "Hm?" "Why haven't we encountered any monsters at Hogwarts?" She murmured. Percy frowned, a confused expression flooding across his face.

   Before he could answer, Harry and Hermione burst into the room. "There you guys are- oh." Hermione shouted. The demigods sprang apart, both startled and blushing. "It's- it's not what it looks like!" Percy rushed, his face warm. "We- we were just chatting." He added. Harry started laughing at his best friend's panicked expression. Percy stuck his tongue out at him but was smiling softly in return. Annabeth shook her head; her bright red face was a huge contrast to her curly golden locks as she neither denied or admitted they were cuddling.

~~~
The next year was different. The light-hearted atmosphere around the two demigods changed, now heavier and yet more comfortable at the same time. When the two demigods boarded the train with Harry, Hermione, and Ron, their shoulders were slumped and eyes downcast. It hadn't been very long since it happened.
"Percy?" A quiet voice murmured, the blonde looking at Percy as she whispered. "What are we supposed to do? Everything's different..." she continued, a singular tear slipping down her cheek. It landed at the corner of her mouth and Percy gently wiped it away. He looked into his girlfriend's eyes, his haunted sea-green ones filled with a strange emotion. It wasn't quite guilt, but it was quite similar, hard to describe- it caused waves of emotion in his eyes as he smiled at Annabeth. "It'll be alright, we're at Hogwarts now. We'll be fine."
It didn't go unnoticed by the group who went by "The Golden Trio" in another universe as Percy slipped his hand into Annabeth's. The demigods smiled softly at each other, deciding to wait to tell their friends. (They were finally on good terms with Ron.)
A month or so later, Percy and Annabeth worked up the courage to tell their friends. At least, that's what they would like to stay but it didn't quite happen like that...
"Hey, Wise Girl!" Percy bugged Annabeth at lunch, much to the other three's amusement. "What, Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth answered, slightly annoyed. "I'm about to go Iris-message Mom, can I have a kiss before I go?" The raven haired boy asked innocently.
Hermione and Harry stared, along with Ron. "You guys are dating?" Hermione asked, incredulous. "And you didn't tell your best friends?!" Harry added, enraged. Annabeth glared at her boyfriend, but smiled softly as she nodded. "The jerk didn't even notice I liked him until after we almost died and fought a stupid war." She replied, forgetting they didn't know they were demigods. "Whoa, What?" Ron asked, blinking rapidly. He had voiced everyone who was listening's thoughts. (No, it was not just Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Percy who were listening to Annabeth.)
Percy rolled his eyes. "Yeah, says the girl who yelled at me after I walked into my own funeral!" He sassed. Annabeth blushed, hard, and Harry just stared. Then it hit him. "What?" He screamed, eyes wide. His hand with his 'I must not tell lies' scars waved wildly in the air, the other hand joining it soon after. "Uh." Annabeth said quite intelligently, Percy not really realizing. "I mean, I'm in life or death situations more often than you would think, being half mortal." He rambled, not paying attention to his best friends' expressions. "Honestly, being a demigod is no joke. Right, Annabeth?" He asked Annabeth.
The Griffyndors all stared at him, Annabeth eyes wide. "Percy!" She hissed. "We weren't supposed to tell them that!" A sheepish look covered Percy's face. "Whoops?"
The Gryffindor table erupted into questions.
Aaand that's a wrap! Do you pups want part two of this terrible one-shot? Well, that'd be a lie since it isn't really a one-shot... but anyways. If you haven't noticed, everything that happens (for the most part) in both series happens, just with a few things added. This was shorter than most of my other one-shots so... yeah. Anyways, I hope you pups enjoyed! Any suggestions for other one-shots? And please, please comment on these things! It makes me sad because I feel like it isn't a good book if no one comments.. and I like writing these. Anywho, have a good day/night pups, see you in my next update! (Btw all my OCs that I use as my personas [aka the Fireflie family] will have in depth backstory one-shots that explain why they're so attached to their fandoms and their backstories in general.)
