Liv x Gwaine part 2
"You what?" Yuvia repeated for what was the 100th time that day. It was the 100th time she asked. Liv counted.
"I told you Yuvia. I met Gwaine at Tavern literally an hour ago." She sighed, tired.
Liv was really tired. She had gotten into a sword fight after all. "Yuvia I'm tired. Leave me."
Yuvia sighed. "Fine." She relented, walking out of the room.
Liv tossed and turned for an hour before finally falling asleep into a peaceful dream.
Gwaine was in it, obviously.

Apollo had been watching Liv for the past two days, ever since she discovered he was cheating on her. But it wasn't Apollo's fault! The girl must have been a sorceress! He had never seen her before.
Unless it was the same girl from that one night stand a week ago.
Well it was too late now. Liv was obviously never going to take Apollo back, which really pissed him off.
Apollo was a great boyfriend if he says so himself. He took Liv to events, told her his grand adventures, and made sure Liv was safe.
One little mistake and it all burned. I had gotten a note this morning attached to my door. It was from that bartender at the Tavern.
Apparently, Liv had gotten drunk and told that girl- what was her name? Danica? Darcie? It doesn't matter she's a peasant- the entire story of how Apollo cheated on Liv.
There was only five words on the page, not counting the signature.
I hope that you burn.
D. Trienwood
Which was very rude to say the least. And the nerve of that servant girl Yuvia. Telling him off like that in public! He'd get his revenge, on Yuvia and Liv. Especially Liv. Just perhaps not legally...
Apollo smirked. That band of thieves that Liv and that incredibly annoying knight Gwaine had battled yesterday had potential.
If they received training they would be a lot more deadly.
Apollo stood up and went to find the group of thieves.

It was around 10pm when Liv left for the Tavern, hoping that Gwaine hadn't forgotten to meet.
She wore a dark green cloak and a white shirt with black tights and brown riding boots. Her hair was styled in the classic ponytail, and she wore no makeup.
Almost as soon as she opened the door to the Tavern she saw someone she recognized.
Olive Smith, one of her servants who was supposed to working at this very moment. Liv and Olive made eye contact for a second.
Olive's eyes widened, looked nervous, then confused before shrugging and taking another sip of her drink.
Liv rolled her eyes. Olive wouldn't get paid today.
Finally, she spotted Gwaine in the crowd. Liv made her way over to Gwaine. "Remember me?" Liv teased, sitting next to him.
"How could I forget someone as beautiful as you?" Gwaine grinned at his cheesy pick up line.
Liv sighed. "I expected better than that Gwaine."
"That took me a whole ten minutes to think of!"
"Then it must take months to think of a good one."
Gwaine laughed and had a sip of his beer. "Glad to see your this fun all the time."
"What, did you think I was drunk last night?" Liv questioned, ordering a wine from a blonde bartender with brown eyes.
"No. Your form was too good for that. There was a chance your tongue was drunk. Say, where did a woman like you learn to sword fight?"
"I taught myself." Liv answered. That was mostly true. Liv had watched her brothers fight and stole a few basics before coming up with a style all her own.
Gwaine seemed impressed. "My father taught me be-before he died."
Liv noticed he stuttered a little bit on before and sensed a backstory.
"So you lived outside Camelot?" Liv asked.
"Yeah. Yeah I did." Gwaine answered shortly.
Liv decided not to press further.
Yet.
"So I heard you mention a stupid guy last night." Gwaine mentioned, trying to change the subject.
"If I tell you about him, I want to know about your life before Camelot." Liv bargained.
"You have a deal."
"He was terrible." Liv started, taking a sip of her wine. Gwaine seemed interested.
"How so?"
"He's got the biggest ego a man could have. Says he was a great boyfriend. Please." Liv drank more wine.
Liv continued. "He took me dancing, he'd say. He'd leave out the part that he brought me for looks. He wouldn't mention the countless other woman he dances with on those nights."
Liv ordered a new glass of wine. "And he never stops talking about his 'adventures'. 'And then I shot it right in the heart!" Liv mimicked.
Liv was only starting now to realize how unhappy she had been in this relationship.
"He'd say he protected me. No, he put me 'in my place' as a woman."
"I fail to see how being a woman is an insult." Gwaine expressed, surprising Liv with the genuineness in his tone.
"Expected me to dance. To listen to his adventures all day long. To look pretty and dress up for him. He'd never let me come here to the tavern. 'You're too pretty to get drunk', 'women don't drink!' he'd tell me. You're too beautiful to fight. You're too beautiful to- blah blah blah. Completely stupid."
Gwaine winced. "I'm glad you got out of that situation. Sounds awful."
"It was." Liv sighed.
"You are beautiful though." Gwiane grinned. "Trust me, I know." Liv smirked and chugged the rest of her wine.
Gwaine chuckled before chugging his beer.
"So who was this man?" Gwaine asked, curiously.
"Oh, a nobleman. Apollo, the archer." Liv rolled her eyes, emphasizing Apollo.
Gwaine's eyes widened. "How is it you got a nobleman?"
Liv stared at Gwaine as if he was stupid, which to be fair, he is. "Because I'm of noble blood." She said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Gwaine's eyes widened. "I was not aware of this."
"Why? You're a knight of Camelot aren't you?"
"Well yes, but- wait how'd you know?" Gwaine sputtered.
"I'm not stupid Gwaine. That and I've seen you at banquets."
"Oh." Gwaine said.
Liv sighed and asked, "well? Your past?"
"A long time ago, my father was killed in battle. Not in Camelot though, in Caerleon. We were left with nothing. So my mom went to the king, begging for help. He refused. We went through rough times, till she got earned enough money to support us. But I knew she was working 24/7 to support two. So I started traveling, and now I'm here." Gwaine explained.
"Well I'm glad you found your way here, or else I might be in my room having to listen to my servants advice of boys. She's a mess."
Liv and Gwaine laughed and clinked their glasses together. Then the Tavern door flew open.
The thugs from the night before entered again, holding sharper and more balanced swords.
"Where'd they get those?" Gwaine hissed. Liv resisted the urge to slap Gwaine on the back of the head.
"The castle you idiot." Liv snapped quietly.
"But how did they get in?" Gwaine asked.
As if on cue, a man wearing black robes entered the Tavern. It wasn't the same leader, but the thugs let him through.
"Everyone out." His voice boomed over the room. Nobody moved for a minute before suddenly everyone expect Gwaine and Liv ran for the doors.
The Tavern was completely empty except for Liv, Gwaine and the men.
The man in the black hood tossed his cape aside.
"Shall we dance, Gwaine?" Apollo grinned wickedly. "After all, you stole my girl."
"Perhaps you shouldn't have cheated on her." Gwaine suggested before engaging Apollo in combat.
"Oh great, leave me with the 20 or so men with actual sword experience." Liv whined and kicked somebody in the face before gripping a sharp knife that was 'accidently' in her boot.
"You don't bring a knife to a sword fight, girlie." A man growled as he circled Liv.
Liv smiled sweetly before lunging in and cutting his throat.
The man fell and started choking. "I think a knife will do." Liv stated before revealing throwing knives.
"You gotta be kidding." A voice from the back grumbled. Liv threw her 5 knives and they all hit their targets in the chest. 5 men collapsed, dead.
Meanwhile, while Liv was performing acts that Uther would claim involved sorcery, Gwaine was performing a rather deadly sword fight.
Gwaine assumed Apollo, being an archer, wouldn't do very well.
Turns out he wasn't that bad. He was actually rather good for an archer.
Gwaine swung, Apollo dodged. Apollo swung, Gwaine dodged. This continued for some time.
While the boys were doing that, Liv had nearly killed all 20 men in the matter of minutes.
It was then that Gwaine made his critical mistake. He looked over at Liv and was distracted by her agility and strength in combat.
Apollo got a cheap swing and cut Gwaine across the chest. Gwaine fell and hit the ground. His vision went blurry.
"Gwaine!" Liv screamed in distress and stabbed the man next to her. She ragingly ripped the knife from his body and threw it at Apollo.
It wasn't thrown with enough accuracy, but it hit Apollo's hand, causing him to drop the sword.
"You monster." Liv walked towards him like the Winter Solider going to kill Captain America.
Apollo would have been lying if he said Liv didn't scare him a little bit.
"Women don't fight." Apollo hissed.
"Yes we do," Liv narrowed her eyes, "and we win."
Liv whipped out a knife and threw it at Apollo.
The world seemed to be in slow motion as the knife pierced Apollo directly in the heart.
Apollo gaped at the knife in his chest, and looked at Liv before falling face-forward to the cold wood floor.
Liv had no time to think about what she'd done. She grabbed Gwaine and dragged him over to Gaius's. "Don't ask, just help."
Gaius did the eyebrow of doom, but nevertheless gave Gwaine medicine and bandages. According to Gaius, IT WAS lucky it was just a scratch.
Liv led Gwaine to her house after the ordeal, still a little bit shaken. Yes she hated Apollo but enough to kill him?
Liv and Gwaine stared at each other for a moment. Gwaine silently took Liv's hand and guided her into the bedroom, sensing she needed some alone time.
Liv didn't argue. She followed Gwaine and locked the door.
Liv hesitated a moment before getting onto her bed.
Gwaine's eyes kept darting between Liv and the door. "I should go."
"No. Stay." Liv said, flirtatiously, stretching the Y. She let her legs spread over the bed.
Gwaine seemed hesitant.
"Liv are you sure-"
"I want to."
Gwaine gave a small smile and joined Liv on the bed.
Let's just say a lot happened behind that door, and the servants were very happy they weren't in the room where it happened.
