Laurel is a shy and very quiet person. She keeps to herself, and this girl will do her best to make sure that she is invisible to the world. The main reason would be due to her powers. She doesn't want to become the center of attention because of them. Also, she just hates attention altogether. So Laurel keeps to herself and is only close with a few people not including her parents. Once you get to know her though, Laurel is a very kind girl. She is someone that people can trust with secrets, someone they can talk to and have an assurance that she'll listen, and she'll protect them. Laurel treasures the friends she makes, and it is the one thing that she will certainly protect till she dies.

Background:
It remains unknown how Laurel got her abilities. She was born with them. She was ten when she first exhibited her powers. The girl had brought a baby bird back to life. Laurel's parents withdrew her from public schooling, and insisted that their daughter would start homeschooling while they figured out what exactly was wrong with her. As she got older, Laurel's experience with her powers grew as well. And once she was old enough, the girl left home to get an actual understanding of how she got her powers.

Laurel's alias is Angel of Death. She can give life back to people or take their lives away. Laurel can also feel people's life forces and control the dead (controlling the dead takes more energy from Laurel, and she doesn't exactly know how to do it). Taking and giving life requires Laurel to have physical contact with them. Her signature "move" is called the kiss of life or kiss of death (depending on the situation)
