The Warrior this Week is..:

Badgerfang

Not many people have heard the story of the little 3-moon-old Warrior.

Yes, I said "Three-Moon-Old-Warrior".

Back when Brokenstar leader, he enforced a new rule in ShadowClan: All kits were to become apprenticed at 3 moons. Poor little Badgerkit was a victim to this horror, and was forced to fight a rival Clan at such a little age.

Flintfang, Badgerpaw's mentor, was battling nearby when the other Clan retreated. He searched around for the young tom, only to find him sprawled on the ground, blood dripping from his mouth.

Flintfang was instantly by his side, bending down to catch his final words.

(I do not have access to a reference, so the following is my own version.)

"D-do you think that StarClan will make me a Warrior?" Badgerpaw croaked, his eyes glazing.
Flintfang sighed, nuzzling the apprentice with his nose. "I'm sure they will."
"I want to be named Badgerfang like you, because you were such a great mentor."
Flintfang swallowed as the little tom fell back, his eyes closing. His chest movements slowly receded to a halt.

Very sad indeed. Badgerfang's story is mentioned in one of the guides, the name of which I am not sure.
The only other time Badgerfang is mentioned is in The Ultimate Guide- Tigerstar's Nine Lives.
