Vineet has a conversation with Anamika at her room. She's asking him to come out of his cage. She's not demanding anything more. Vineet enters his room and locks the door. He moves into the washroom to take a shower before going to sleep. He turns on the shower and stands beneath it. The cold water drops on his body and he closes his eyes. Anamika's words are echoing in his ears.

Should he really open up? Should he move on? Won't this be equivalent to ditch his late wife? But she resides in his heart. She's a part of his soul and he knows it. She'll be with him until his last breath,he knows it, then what's stopping him. His own self. He believes that he can't love anyone anymore. He closes his eyes and a face flashes in front of his eyes, and so does a voice.

"Ansh ne bhi toh aapki zindagi mein jagah banayi hai, waise hi aap baaki sabke liye raaste khol dijiye." 

Vineet opens his eyes with a jerk. He turns off the shower and moves out of the washroom after changing into his night dress. He lies on the bed and checks the watch, it's midnight. He should sleep but he can't. Anamika's words are echoing in his ears. Well, he can't deny her. All that she said is right. He can't back off on other people. But why has he made a shell around himself. He drifts into a small memory of the past.

*Flashback Begins*

They are on their way home. Ruhana is annoyed. Vineet looks at her and holds her hand, but she jerks it.

"Baat mat karo tum mujhse!" She snaps at him.

"Arey, gussa kyun ho rahi ho?" he asks.

"toh kya karun? Aise abruptly party se le aaye. Naman ko kaisa laga hoga!!" she shouts on him.

"It was a boring party." Vineet makes a face.

" shut up Vineet. Tumhari business parties se toh achi hi thi. Par tumhe pata nahi kya ho jata hai! Rukne bhi nahi diya." Ruhana makes a face.

"Boring party mein jaane se acha hai, hum dono ek sath time spend karein." Vineet says eyeing her.

"Vineet!! Itne mushkil se time milta hai kahin jaane ka aur tum ho ki is tarah le aaye mujhe." She says annoyingly.

"tumhara gussa door karne ka tareeka bhi hai mere pas." He says as he stops the car and hops out.

Ruhana looks around and finds an ice cream parlor. Oh! He knows how to convince her. So, he got her to this ice cream parlor. Within a few minutes, he's in the car, holding two ice cream cones, chocolate for her and butter scotch for himself. They relish their ice creams, while Ruhana is eyeing Vineet.

"Ab batao, aise kyun le aaye achanak?" she asks.

" Tum gussa nahi ho?" He asks.

"Wo toh main hoon." Ruhana rolls her eyes at her husband.

" Ghar chal ke baat karte hain."  Vineet says and ignites the car.

They reach home in next thirty minutes. Ruhana unlocks the door and moves into her room. She is still annoyed with Vineet and he isn't telling the reason. She moves into the room when he holds her hand. She looks at him.

"Ab kya hai?" She asks.

"Arey Ruu! Suno! You know it na, jab mere pas time hota hai toh main usey tumhare sath spend karna pasand karta hoon. Hamare beech koi teesra aaye ye mujhe pasand nahi. Aur fir wo party, it was so boring. Usse acha ye hai ki hum dono sath mein waqt guzaare! " He says.

" Par dosti toh nibhani padti hai na Vineet. " She says.

" I don't know. Mujhe bas tumhare sath rehna pasand hai. So, it will only be us and ours. ". He says pulling her close to himself.

" Bade ziddi ho tum, vineet. " she says.

" I am. And I take what I need. " he says pulling her in his arms.

"Aur jab main nahi rahungi tab?" she asks casually.

He parts the hug and looks at his wife. His grip on her hand tightens up.

"Aisa din kabhi nahi aayega, aur dobara aisi baat mat karna." he says sternly, at which she hugs him as tight as she could to comfort him. Certainly, they cannot imagine their lives without each other.

*Flashback Ends*

Vineet's trance is broken, he realises what Ruhana had said in the past has turned true. Destiny took her away from him and since then he has locked himself in his own shell. But there is an exception after two years, and that is Ansh. He's breaking the ice and after his sister, it's only Anamika who is asking him to stay happy, just like Ruhana used to do. She has always wished for his happiness. He takes a deep sigh, he doesn't know what to do! He falls asleep while thinking what Anamika said to him.

Next Morning, Anamika wakes up early. She lets Ansh sleep for some more time, while she freshens up. They have to visit the client office and do their first meeting. She gets dressed up and checks the files, she has been working on. Meanwhile, her phone buzzes, it's Vineet who's asking her to open the door. Anamika glances at her son and opens the door. Vineet enters in and so does a bell boy who has got coffee for both of them. Anamika is touched, he has already ordered refreshments for them.

"Thanks!" Anamika says.

"It's okay! I knew tumhe thodi problem ho sakti hai toh maine pehle hi order kardiya tha." Vineet says.

"Isliye toh thank you. Aap meri bahut help kar rahe hain." Anamika says.

"After all, kaam bhi toh dono ka hai na!" Vineet says while she smiles.

They do a final discussion and then decide to meet at the restaurant. Anamika agrees as they have a meeting at 11AM. Vineet moves to her room and Anamika moves to wake her son.

"mumma! School nahi jana. Sone do!" The boy says sleepily.

"toh Ansh ko ghumne nahi jana? Kal toh aapko wo big eye wali jagah dekhni thi na" Anamika says, while talking about the London Eye, with which Ansh has been mesmerized.

Ansh opens his eyes and looks at his mom.

"hum jayenge?" he asks.

"Han bilkul! Mere bete ko jo dekhna hai, wo sab dekhenge hum."  she says.

Ansh hugs her and keeps his head in her lap. Anamika smears her head. The boy sits up and asks her to get ready. Anamika makes her son ready and they move out after locking the room. Vineet is already waiting for them outside the room and they walk towards the restaurant. After a quick breakfast, the three of them make way to the client office. Ansh looks at both of them and is curious to know where are they going.

" Abhi mumma aur uncle ko kaam hai na toh hum office ja rahe hain, fir jahan Ansh bolega hum jayenge, okay!" Anamika explains to the boy.

The boy looks at them, Vineet assures him that he will take her to the places he wants and Ansh chuckles.

All this didn't went unnoticed by Anamika. She just smiles, afterall, it's her son, with whom he's planning things and also smiling. Soonish, they reach the office and Vineet asks the receptionist to inform her boss about their arrival. His eyes fell on Anamika and Ansh, and he knows a mother is instructing her son to behave and not to pull off any mischief. The boy nods cutely. Meanwhile, they are called in. Vineet makes Ansh busy with a book and they move in. The clients demand a presentation. Anamika, who's all ready with it, explains everything in details. Two hours pass by,when she finishes speaking. The clients seem to be  impressed. She looks around but doesn't find Vineet around. Where is he? Her eyes are searching for him, when the client says that they'll do a personal meeting with her and Vineet and finalise everything. Anamika thanks them and move out of the conference room. As she moves out, she spots Ansh and Vineet at a distance and she can't help but smile at the sight in front of her.
