You make a badass kill
Admittedly I thought I had updated it not too long ago so I forgot about this book, only to then see it say "updated four months ago" so... yeah, sorry for that.
And sorry if this is bad, I'm not good at writing action scenes.
Codsworth:
He finds most of your kills badass and fascinating, praising you each time. He gladly tells others about how amazing you are during combat. When you accept a mission and the person looks worried you won't be able to do it he will assure them that you will be able to do this as he has seen you succeed in many missions and win all your battles in such amazing ways. He once even commented movies should come back as you would be a natural stunt person for movies.
Preston:
The first time he saw you help him out was probably the most badass you have ever been to him because it was badass of you to stop your journey to help him, a stranger, from so many enemies, and even more badass when he learned you had just woken up a few minutes prior so you did that all confused and new to everything.
Danse:
You were both starving and running low on ammo so you decided to go hunting in the tall buildings for anything useful. But sadly your luck was against you as you just entered the building filled with enemies. So many enemies you couldn't even fight back properly, and sadly you were already so high in the building and the lower floors were swarming with enemies. As you ran, trying to shoot the enemies nearing, suddenly your gun didn't go anymore so you tried to reload but you were grasping at nothing; your ammo was all gone. As you kept running up, suddenly a missile launcher came into view and you got this fun idea in mind as you knew Danse was waiting outside. So you ran towards a window, which luckily already had the glass blown out it. As you stepped onto it, you did a twirl and jumped backwards. As the enemies raced to the window you shot the missile to them. As the blast came you somehow still managed to hear Danse scream your name in clear horror and disapproval. You let the launcher go and now just put your trust into Danse and not dying. Honestly your only thought was now hoping that looked badass, though you doubt Danse would care about that and give you a lecture of a few hours on how to never do this again. If you survive that is. And you did, though it came with serious pain throughout your body as Danse managed to catch you. Danse stared down at you, and you could just tell his heart was racing faster than any heart ever has. He angrily asked what the hell that was, but you just smiled and assured you you knew it would work because you trusted him to catch you, and he did. He stared then yelled that doesn't change the fact it was dangerous and you could have died. And you were right, the next few hours was him rambling on about safety and all that.
Piper:
She tripped over her own feet as she was trying to hurry back, her gun slipping out of her hand due to the sudden compact of falling down. She cursed, scrambling back, only to let out a huff as her back hit a building. She stared up at the super mutant as it raised its bat. Her chest was clenching so hard and her whole stomach was turned upside down. She wanted to scream for you but nothing could come out. But suddenly something swinged past and there was a sharp thing aside the super mutant's head. The bat fell out the mutant's hand causing her to flinch in surprise. And then its head wobbled before it fell forward, and only its head. Blood flew out the headless body then its body also fell so she scrambled more to the building. She stared as you stood there, a sword in hand, with a very dark look. All she could do was reach her hand out with hope. You took her hand and pulled her up and into an embrace then pulled her along, assuring her they are all dead now so it's fine. Once she was okay again she couldn't help but wonder if she should write a novel, with you as her inspiration for the warrior in it that saves the herione each time.
Nick:
There isn't really much he finds badass as he seen a lot already, but whenever you come up with a proper plan and it actually works is what he finds badass. Though doesn't mean he always likes your plans, especially that time you instructed him to be bait for Swan so he had to stand there, shouting weird things to get Swan's attention then rush away when Swan slammed his anchor down. Suddenly you ran past him and jumped onto the anchor. As Swan flung the anchor up you went flying and used your shotgun in the air to shoot the top of his head to open the skin then landed on Swan's shoulders. You quickly pulled out your knife and began stabbing away at the open wound, stabbing until you were through the skull and stabbing the brain. It wasn't a fun task as all the blood squirted out and began coating your hands, but your plan worked to make Swan stumble, making slurred sounds then fall down. You did a roll forward then gave Nick open hands as if to ask "how was that? Brilliant, right?". He stared then chuckled and said that was good. You held your hand up to him to get help getting up but he cringed so you gave him a confused look but then mumbled "right..." as your hands were covered in blood. But then he took your hand, which just confused you more as to why he would take it, only to then laugh as he had put a napkin between your and his hand to keep his hand clean. He pulled you up then handed you the napkin to clean most of the blood off your hands with.
Hancock:
It was crazy on the battlefield, too many enemies. You and Hancock were on seperate sides so you wanted to go to him. As you ran through the field, pulled your grenade out. Pulled the pin out and just shoved it in an enemy's mouth before kicking him to the crowd of enemies. As you ran past Hancock, snatched his arm and pulled him behind something before both peeking out. Though were both quick to hide again when the grenade went off and flesh and blood flew everywhere. Now the field was quiet so both peeked again to see the enemies staring at the exploded body before they began rushing away, some of them yelling this is insane and they aren't dying like that as well and fuck this as this isn't worth it anymore. Hancock stared before holding his hand out for a high five, chuckling he definitely needs a good drink and smoke now.
Cait:
Any time you just run to the enemies and start using melee she finds it badass because not many people would just run into danger like that and then just use melee to try and kill their enemies. She also just likes to see people using proper fighting forms so when you use proper and good fighting form she finds it badass as that looks way better than just flailing your limbs around in hopes to hurt your enemies. Each time you done such stuff she will chuckle and shout something in joking praise to you.
Strong:
You were both behind a wall, away from a bunch of mutants. Strong was complaining about wanting to go fight and not hide, but you had this new sniper rifle you been meaning to test out so just asked him to lift you up. He was confused but easily scooped you up and lifted you so you are looking over the wall. You placed your sniper on the wall top then began taking your shots, headshotting each of the mutants. When you got the last headshot Strong began complaining about his arms aching so you assured him he can put you down. Strong hurried from behind the wall, stared at the mutant corpses then frowned, saying Strong gets no fun.
Maccready:
You were arguing with him when you suddenly snatched his rifle and aimed it then shot. He watched as a person in the far distance fell back then he asked how you knew they were there. You pushed the rifle against him, telling him in an annoyed tone you get a sense for it after a while. This did make both of you finally calm down a little and continue the discussion without the loud and annoyed arguing.
Deacon:
Most you do is badass to him. The first few times when you both hadn't met yet and he was still spying in his various disguises he always had trouble not revealing his position by cheering about how awesome you are at every little thing you did. Even you just talking to someone and being able to get what you want out of it was so badass to him. So when you finally got together he felt so much lift off his shoulders as he was finally able to fanboy to you about how awesome and badass you are and recalling his favorite badass moments you have had.
Curie:
She doesn't really find anything badass because while others would think what you do is badass the only thing she thinks is "oh no, they will get hurt doing that!" and/or "hopefully they will be okay" and afterwards she will examine you, asking you if you got hurt. And when you question her if she found it badass she will stare, trying to read your expression, from which she can read you are hoping her response is a good one so she will smile and say it was very badass.
X6-88: (I never actually finished Fallout 4 so I never met him so sorry if he's out of character, I'm just basing him on the very few clips I saw of him and pictures to imagine what he's like.)
He will just watch each time, waiting until you are done, and once you are he will just ask if all that was necesarry. When you say it makes all of this a bit fun at least he will just hum, unable to argue with that as it can get very plain and boring out here and always doing the same thing. Though sometimes, when you do something badass without even realizing, he will praise you for it, mainly because he found it more impressive you were able to do that without even trying to do so.
Dogmeat:
He doesn't know about badass or such, he just knows fun. And when you slide on the ground and headshot people that's fun to him and gets him more excited and thrilled to participate in the fight. So he will be running aside you, happily barking, as you slide and shoot.
King:
You were talking with him as you both walked along the streets of Freeside. He glanced to you, only to snatch your arm. Before he could warn you and pull you away your other arm shot up, holding your gun, and shot. He watched as the thug collapsed to the floor then back as you as you were still casually talking, not even looking to make sure the thug is dead. He followed along as you two continued speaking, but his mind was blank. When you stopped talking he just glanced back then joked, though half serious, that he might just make you his bodyguard or make you train the Kings.
Benny:
A conflict broke out in the casino between him and some drunk card player. Benny was already debating whether he should just kick them out or kill them, but then suddenly a playing card flew past his face and into the man's eye causing the man to stumble away, screaming and his hands flailing over his face in panic. Suddenly you ran past, jumping on the table then jumping onto the man. As you fell down and had the man underneath you, confused and in pain, you pulled the card out then just shoved it into their mouth. Covered their mouth and nose, ignoring their hands clawing your arms. Once their hands fell and their one good eye lost its shine you let go and got up. Benny, who was staring in amaze, cheered then gave you a passionate kiss, saying that was the sexiest thing you done so far. As he guided you away to get your arms taken care, you told him that dude has done many terrible things so you were gonna kill him one day anyway.
Butch:
You took down a deathclaw with just a switchblad and since that day he has both admired and feared you. Each time you pull out a knife he just kind of freezes, the images of you just taking down a deathclaw with a simple knife coming back. He also finds you way cooler now, and gladly brags about this for you to others. Now if you dare claim to be a non-violent person or someone who isn't that scary he will remind you of what you did.
Sorry if this sucked, I'm not good at writing fighting scenes.
