Jewels had her talons safely around the large, purple egg as she flew towards the canopy of trees, her scales had turned the colour of the sky, so it looked like the egg was floating.

Behind her was a group of SeaWings, flying after her and the egg. Jewels wasn't a normal RainWing, as she was trying to raise her dragonet on her own, and actually know the dragonet was her son or daughter. Wanting her family to stay family wasn't why, no it was because she preferred places outside the Rainforest, the ocean in particular. And that, her love fo the ocean is why she even had an egg, and why the SeaWings were chasing her.

Jewels had fallen in love with a male SeaWing named Seahorse, eventually he had fallen for her as well, he had deep blue scales, with swirls of lighter blue throughout, he was perfect, until he led Jewels into the claws of his Tribemates.

"Why does that RainWing want Seahorse's egg? She's not it's mother, Princess Clownfish is." A male SeaWing bellowed, his voice filling the air.

But I am it's mother. Who's Princess Clownfish? Oh, the SeaWing Princess. Wait, what? That's impossible. Seahorse had lied to her, he had a wife in the Sea kingdom, and Jewels was fairly certain it was definitely this Princess Clownfish.

"Jewels, down here! Down here!" She heard a voice calling through the treetop canopies. "Jewels! That's why we don't leave the Rainforest!" An older dragon scolded her as she landed, the egg still being grasped firmly.

"Oh, Rosebud, mother, you know I hate it in here, and I had to. You see I left this egg near the sea and I had to bring it back. Queen Rosebud, please, please let me keep it! It's my egg, I promise I didn't steal it from one of the other nurseries! It's my son or daughter and I need to put it in the royal hatchery!" She growled at the Queen.

"Fine. You can keep the egg." Rosebud flicked her tail as Jewels padded to the royal hatchery and placed the egg in one of the slots, the dragonet in the egg was partly visible.

"It's okay, darling." Jewels swept her tail over the egg.
