In the infamous guild known as Fairy Tail, a white haired beauty was at the bar with her usual notepad. Mirajane was currently on her work break and was ticking off the names written down. She scanned through the list and was happy that some of her predicted ships have finally come true.

"Nalu, Gruvia, Gale and Jerza have all been done" Mira exclaimed, "What more could a matchmaker ask for?"

Going through her list, there was one name that she hovered over. It was Mirafreed, the one she always fantasised. Mira sighed, everyday she wished that she could confess her feelings towards the Rune Mage. During the battle of Fairy Tail, she and Freed had a large battle and she could've ended his life there. But she didn't because deep down, she still cared for him and wanted to bring his senses back into the guild. Not only because they were a family, but because she still had feelings for him.

"I should've told him how I felt back then, maybe that would have been another reason for him not to fight me" She sighed.

"Who now?" A voice spoke up. Mira got a bit startled at the sudden voice only to find Lucy sitting right in front of her.

"What the, how long have you been here?" Mira questioned.

"Just when you started daydreaming after looking at your notepad" Lucy answered, "So, who it this person you are talking about?"

"None of your concern" Mira replied with a blush.

"Oh, I see it has something to do with your relationship status" Lucy pointed out, "Well, you might as well tell me, I had to tell you my feelings about Natsu and we ended up together"

"Ok, I guess it's a fair point" Mira said in defeat, "The person I am referring to is Freed"

"Of course, I knew you had feelings for him" Lucy exclaimed, "But why do you seem upset?"

"The thing is, I should've told him earlier back during the Battle of Fairy Tail" Mira answered, "But it didn't seem like the right time and every day, I wonder if he feels the same"

"I'm sure he likes you from the way I see him look at you, it's just like Natsu and I" Lucy explained, "Speaking of which, he's coming right now"

Mira turned to her left to see the green haired Rune Mage walking towards her. Lucy left the eldest Strauss sibling causing her to panic on the inside. Well, it looks like she will have to deal with this.

A few minutes earlier

Freed looked over at the eldest Strauss sibling from the table he was sitting. Not only did he admire her beauty and strength, but he also loved how she was caring to others and forgiving. Maybe that's why he has fallen for her, she was able to bring him back to his senses during the Battle of Fairy Tail. It made him feel happy that she was able to help others in need. Freed sighed as he thought that she might not feel the same way as he did after what he did to her brother.

"You still thinking about Mira?" Bickslow asked.

"Yeah, I'm not sure if she feels the way I do" Freed answered.

"I'm sure she likes you in some shape or form" Bickslow stated, "Plus, she already forgave you about what you did to Elfman"

"Yeah, she forgave" His puppets added.

"I'm not worried about that though, I'm worried that she'll reject me and only see me as a nakama" Freed sighed.

"Well, the only way to find out is if you talk to her" Bickslow explained, "If you just sit here and just think of these scenarios, you'll never know what's going to truly happen"

Freed thought for a bit about what his comrade had told him. He was never much of a risk taker but maybe this one time, he'll have to do it. Getting up from his seat, he decided to make his way to the Take-over Mage.

"You're right Bickslow, I'll give it a shot" Freed exclaimed.

"That's the spirit, go get her Freed" Bickslow cheered.

"Go get her, go get her" His puppets added.

Freed walked towards the bar where he saw Lucy and Mira having a chat. Upon them noticing him, Lucy decided to take her leave while Mira froze on the spot.

"Mirajane, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me at the park?" Freed asked.

"Um sure, I should be available at around 5" Mira replied.

"Alright then, I'll see you at 5" Freed finished, making his leave.

Later, at 5

It was now 5PM and Freed was peacefully waiting on a park bench reading one of his books. He looked up to see Mira making her way towards him so he put his book back into his satchel and stood up.

"You made it" Freed exclaimed.

"So, what did you want me for?" Mira asked.

"I'd like to go on a walk with you, I have some things to tell you" Freed answered. This sparked Mira's interest because he wouldn't normally discuss something with someone so privately. The two walked around Magnolia, having fun just spending time with each other. Freed decided that it was now time to speak the truth.

"Mira, there is a reason why I asked you to join me" he started.

"And what would that be?" Mira questioned.

"To tell you the truth, after the Battle of Fairy Tail, I couldn't get my mind off of you" Freed explained, "Ever since you brought me back to my senses, your forgiving and kind nature made me feel something different"

"Freed" she whispered.

"I just want to let you know that I have fallen for you Mira, you are a beautiful, kind, strong woman." Freed added placing his hand on her cheek, "And I haven't stopped admiring you, I just wanted you to know how I felt for you"

"You really mean it?" Mira asked as tears started forming.

"Every single word" Freed replied. All of a sudden, Mira swiftly placed her lips against his and pulled him into a strong embrace. This took him by surprise but he eventually complied and returned the kiss. Upon breaking apart to breathe, the two stared into each other's eyes.

"Freed, I've loved you for a long time now and I wanted to tell you back in the Battle but, I was afraid that you wouldn't return my feelings" Mira confessed.

"Well, I've been afraid to tell you my feelings because I thought that you only saw me as a friend and had eyes for someone else" Freed admitted.

"Freed, you're the only one I see more than just a friend or family, you're the one I want to be with forever" Mira exclaimed.

"That I do agree with, I hope that the two of us stay together forever" Freed agreed, pulling her into another kiss. Off into the distance, two white haired mages silently cheered from afar.

"Hooray, Mira has finally got someone by her side" Lisanna cheered

"Confessing your love is MAN" Elfman exclaimed, "I guess the matchmaker has found her match"

"Yup, and I'm sure Freed will take care of her" Lisanna stated.

"I agree, I trust him with her" Elfman replied. The two Strauss siblings walked off, to give the lovebirds some alone time.
