Jet's POV

This potion perfect! I can use this to unlock Levy's mate and I can show everyone that I am her mate and that she is mine! Now all I need is for her to smell the potion!

Gajeel's POV

My alarm goes off and I groan as I turn it off. I sit up and I get ready for school. I get dress and I head downstairs. I hear voices from the kitchen. I enter to the smell of bacon and waffles.

"Morning Gajeel! Hope you're ready for a big breakfast," my mom says.

"Hey—wha—?! Y-yer here," I say in shock.

"Yup. Makarov found me yesterday and was able to set me free. Your father is upstairs sleeping. You can see him when you get back from school. Then we can talk about everything we missed from the last couple of months. How was your first day at school yesterday?"

"It went well. I met a bunch of new people and actually Salamander is in my friend group," I tell my mom ask she gives me some waffles with iron and bacon.

"That sounds awesome! You better eat up and head to school young man. Don't want to be late," she tells me.

"Yeah sure."

Levy's POV

"Levy sweetie! Are you ready yet?"

"Yeah I'm ready! I'll be down in a second," I tell my mom.

I finish fixing my headband. I grab my backpack and I head towards the kitchen.

"Here is is your lunch and here is breakfast. You have 15 minutes to get to school," my mom says as I place my lunch in my bag.

"Thanks mom," I say as I leave and start to eat breakfast as I walk to school.

"Oí Shrimp! Wait up," I hear a voice say and I turn around to see Gajeel there.

"Hey Gajeel! How are you," I ask as I wait for him so we can walk to school together.

"I'm good. My parents are back and are safe," he says.

"What happened to them?"

"Well José took 'em to make me tell him information 'bout Fairy Tail. Makarov then went to get my parents from José yesterday and I'm glade they are safe."

"That's great to hear," I say as I smile up at Gajeel.

We soon reach the school. We enter and head to our lockers as we chat about life home. We then head off to our first period class.

(TIME SKIP)

Gajeel's POV

Lunch just ended and Shrimp and I are now heading to science class. We are gonna make potions. It's gonna be interesting. I sit next to Lev and we talk 'bout what potion we are gonna make.

"Hey Levy," a voice says as we turn to see Jet there with a test tube with a top to keep the clear liquid in it inside.

"Hey Jet! What do you want," Levy ask him.

"Well I made this at home and I was wondering what you think about the smell. I was trying to make a potion to make the user smell like roses and lavenders. Can you smell it and tell me what you think about it and if I need to change anything," he ask.

I got a bad feeling 'bout what's in the test tube.

"Yeah sure!"

"Ok! Here you go," Jet says.

"I got a bad feeling 'bout what's in the test tube Shrimp," I tell her.

"And why's that," she ask.

"I don't know I just do," I tell him.

"Well you can help me if anything bad happens! Sounds good," she ask me.

"Sure. But shouldn't we tell the teacher," I ask.

"It's a harmless potion. I trust Jet," she says.

"If ya say so Shrimp. Just be careful," I tell her.

"Don't worry! I will," she says.

I keep an eye on Lev as she takes the top off. She doesn't even bring her nose to the test tube, when her eyes widen and she stumbles back. I grab her and get the test tube. I gently place her down. I then sniff the bottle. My eyes widen as I realize what potion this is. I then glare at Jet.

"YOU IDIOT," I say as everyone stops to see what is happening.

"What," he says innocent as Natsu and Lucy comes over.

"YOU ARE AN IDIOT," I say.

I hand Natsu the bottle and he sniffs he. His face then darkens and he looks at Jet.

"DO YOU HONESTLY KNOW WHAT YOU JUST DID," Natsu says as he growls.

"Lucy put the top back on this and hand it to the teacher," I tell her.

She listens, and she does smell it before handing it to our teacher who is walking towards us.

"I am not an idiot and I know what I did," Jet says.

"Do ya even know what that potion at that level does to Lycans," I say, trying to stay calm, but failing.

"What? It's just suppose to show the Lycan who their mate it," Jet says.

"But do ya know what happens to the Lycan," Natsu says. "Because I don't think you do especially since you did the most powerful and the most dangerous level."

"What do you mean," Jet ask confused.

"He doesn't know...and he is the one at fault," I say as I look down at Lev. "At least she's calm while this is happening. Oí Lucy, ya know if Levy is a hybrid or not," I ask her.

"I don't know. I know her mother is a Lycan but I never met her father. Why are you wondering," she ask me.

"Well 'Cause is She was a full Lycan she would be going on a rampage right now. Salamander, ya need to figure out who her mate it," I say.

"And how will Natsu know that," someone ask.

"Since he is a Dragon-Lycan hybrid, he can sense who is who's mate. One thing that that type of hybrid can do," I explain.

"Ok. Someone keep an eye on Jet," Natsu says as he turns towards us.

He squats down and close his eyes as he sniffs Lev. He opens his eyes and looks at me.

"Good thing he's here or else it would have been hard," Natsu says.

"Well Who is her mate," Jet says, a tad bit excited.

"It's....."
