Third Person

"SURPRISE MS. LUCY!" The maids and chefs yelled out

"What!?" Lucy bolted up. Only to be surrounded by Spetto and many of her other friends confronted by a delicious chocolate cake with strawberries surrounding it with chocolate curls on top topped with even more strawberries.

"Make a wish Lucy!" Spetto smiled as she ushered a cake towards her.

"A wish?..." Lucy thought for a couple moments before finally blowing out the candles.

"What did you wish for Lucy?" Spetto asked curiously and she served a slice.
Lucy smiled "If I say it then it won't come true."

"Now Lucy get ready you have a big day planned!" Spetto ushered Lucy out of bed and laid the piece of cake on her dresser before Spetto and the others left to let Lucy dress.

Lucy laughed heartily as she got ready.

Fairy tail p.o.v.

"There it is!" Levy yelled as she pointed out to the port.

"Hoist the flags!" Erza yells at Elfman and Gray

"Aye!" Gray, the ships sailing master yells.

"Get the anchor ready Natsu!" She yells again. "Aye!" Natsu says as he swings to the other side of the ship readying the anchor.

Lucy Third Person  [7:30 pm (Night)]

Lucy had been thinking this whole day. She might have changed her mind if her father had bothered of even saying Happy Birthday.

"Tonight is the night." Lucy mumbles, "I tried to reason with him." She sighs deeply.
"I'm leaving the castle. For good. I rather be poor and free than rich and imprisoned."

"I'll leave at 12:00 midnight. "When everyone is sleeping." Lucy carefully laid out her plan.

"Lucy everyone is in the Grand Hall waiting." Ms. Supetto said happily as she knocked on the door.

"Okay, Supetto I'll be down in a second!" I said cheerfully.

As Ms.Supetto's steps slowly faded, Lucy quickly grabbed her suitcase and stuffed all she can inside. She made sure to include enough money to support her for 3 months until she was up and running. She, of course, felt bad for taking, but she figured her father wouldn't even notice any money difference. Or her missing.

She stuffed the suitcase underneath her bed and walked out of the room downstairs to the Grand Hall where Spetto and the rest were waiting. For now, she'd figure she would spend her remaining time with people who actually cared for her.

Fairy Tail's P.O.V [8:00 pm (Night)]

"Ah, Crocus." Natsu stretched as he got onto the port deck,"A kingdom full of wealthy people walking around at night."

"Don't get lost now Natsu, be back before 12:00 midnight," Erza said strictly as she made her way back to headquarters to discuss the plans while they're in Crocus with Captain Makarov.

"But it's already..."Natsu pauses as he looks at the giant clock tower "8:00 pm." Natsu whines as he put on his pirate hat on.

"Ooo...look at that giant castle Natsu ." Gray nudged Natsu as he pointed to the castle.

"Damn there has to be a fortune in there." Gray squinted.

"Wanna rob it Gray?" Natsu smirked.

"Are you insane idiot?!! They have to have top-notch security! And besides, the kingdom wants us dead."

"You're no fun Flag Wrecker." Natsu pouted. "Shut up Plank Walker." Gray scowled back.

It was night time, which didn't bother Natsu at all. Crocus was always busy, day and night. The streets were crowded but not as much as during the day.

"Well, I'll be out for a while Gray," Natsu smirked as he walked away into a crowd full of people until disappearing. "Don't do anything stupid Natsu!" Gray yelled hoping Natsu would listen, for once.

Of course, Natsu never played by the rules. As he walked with the crowd he was able to steal 1,000 jewels worth from a man who seemed he didn't need any more money for because he was wearing the finest clothes a man could ever have.

As Natsu continued walking he noticed another person but this time it was a woman with a small child. The woman asked money from a what seemed to be a very wealthy woman but claimed she none as she stuffed her pearled bracelet into her bag and walked away complaining about beggers.

"Mommy I'm hungry." The little boy said tugging on her sleeve.

"I'm sorry Sweetheart.." His mother replied with tears forming in her eyes, "We don't have enough money to buy anything right now."

Natsu looked at the money he just took from a wealthy man. He didn't need it as much as they did. So he did the right thing anyone should do, he walked over to the mother and soon.

"I couldn't help but overhear you needed money for food." Natsu said, "Here all I have is this.. but you need it more than I do." Natsu smiled.

"Oh dear." The mother replied by covering her mouth, "I can't take this from you since I have nothing left to give." She said shaking her head.

Natsu looked at the little boy who was looking right back at him with a questioning face. Natsu then turned back to the mother.
"I do not need anything in return," Natsu said, "Consider it as a gift from me to you." Natsu handed the money to the woman.

"Thank you so much, I don't know how I'll ever be able to repay you." The woman smiled with tears of joy streaming down her face.

Natsu chuckled, "Just make the kid happy and full."

Natsu smiled and looked at the little boy, "Take care and have a nice meal little man." The boy's eyes gleamed with pride.

Natsu began to walk away he was stopped by a pair of warm arms wrapping around his legs. "Thank you." The little boy said as he hugged Natsu.

"You're welcomed champ." Natsu grinned as he waved goodbye.

"If you ever need me!" Natsu said tilting his hat, "The name Is Natsu." As Natsu finally walked away. "Natsu Dragneel."

"My name is Sting!" The little boy yelled. "Sting Eucliffe!"

"Sting eh?" Natsu said disappearing into a crowd, "I'll remember that."

Lucy's P.o.v [11:55pm(Night)]

"Alright, it's almost time." Lucy got up from her bed as she took her suitcase out from underneath her bed. She dressed in the least expensive looking outfit she can find, to not attract any unwanted attention. She finally found a light pink ruffled like top whom she which wrapped a leather corset over wearing a light pink skirt with another dark purple piece of cloth draping over it topped off with black boots and a satchel.

Lucy grabbed her suitcase. She left a note on her bed for Spetto and the others, as she quietly made her way past guards into the Grand Hall.

"Okay, there is an exit to the garden that isn't guarded by many guards so I'll just leave from there." Lucy thought as she made her way across the castle to the garden.

"Hey did you hear that Jake" A guard questioned, "I'm sure it was nothing must have been an animal or something." The Guard replied. They both shrugged and walked off.

Lucy waiting a bit before speaking to herself

"Phew, that was close," Lucy said heavily breathing.

"Yeah, you're telling me." Someone said. It Took a moment for Lucy to figure out someone was there. "Who are you?!!" Lucy questioned loudly and fearfully as she scooted backward.

"I'm not going to hurt you." The voice said, "Just keep your voice down and watch where you step."

"How can I trust you if----AHH!" Lucy yelped as she tripped backward over a rock onto the path.

She could have sworn she should have fallen already. But instead,
Lucy felt warm hands around her waist and someone grabbing her arm as she laid back.

Lucy opened one eye, "See I told you to watch your step."

There in front of her was a handsome looking pink haired man with a smirk like no other.

The man lifts her up, "What are you doing here?" The man questioned.  "I should be asking you the same thing" Lucy questioned back.

"I asked ya first." He smiles. Lucy rolls her eyes playfully, "Just trying to get out of Crocus."

The teenage boy teases, "Ya in trouble with the kingdom or something?"
Lucy laughs silently, "Yeah something like that."

"Well, I'm here because, well I don't really know actually." He scratches his neck embarrassed.

"Can I  know your name?" The ml
"Preferred it if you didn't now excuse me I must leave." Lucy tried walking away

"Hey! Oh, Come on!" The man groaned as he chased after her. "I saved ya from a fall, I would like to know who I saved." He grins.

Lucy tried holding back a giggle, "Oh fine, the names Lucy."
"Sweet, I'm Natsu, Natsu Dr--" Natsu said before being interrupted by yelling.

"It came from over there!" A guard yelled. "He has Ms.Lucy!" Another screamed.

"Uh oh," Natsu said as he grabbed Lucy's hand.

"Hey! Wait!" Lucy yelled. "Sorry sweetheart but we gotta go." As Natsu picked her up bridal style and ran towards the port.

"Get them!" The Guards yelled as the chased after the duo.

Fairy Tail's P.o.v

"What's taking Natsu so long?!" Gray groaned in annoyance. "Yeah, he should have been back by now." Jellal, the ship's quartermaster, sighs.

"Erza where is Natsu?!!" Captain Makarov yells. "We don't know sir!" Erza replies sternly.

"When I get my hands on him--." The Captain said as he was interrupted by shouting.

"Happy check what's the shouting about!" Captain Makarov commands the blue cat.

"Aye, sir!" The blue flying cat flies up and looks with a telescope.

"Sir, It appears Natsu has returned with a maiden in his arms being chased down by the royal army sir!" Happy happily replies.

"Everyone departure now!" Captain Makarov shouts as Jellal hoisted the anchors.

"Raise the flags!"
"Ready the ship!"

"We're almost there!" Natsu yells as he puts Lucy down grabbing her by the arm practically dragging her. "Why am I here!?!!!" Lucy screeches as she notices a pirate ship in the distance.

"We shouldn't go near that ship!" Lucy yells. "We do as I say if we don't want to be caught. Got it?" Natsu says running down the dock. "Besides," Natsu turned to her and grinned again, "You said you wanted to get out of here right? Then let's go!"

Lucy thinks about the possibilities of running away with a complete stranger or getting caught and being sent back to god knows what punishment.

"Alright!" Lucy nods.

"Natsu! Grab the rope!" Gray yells from the top of the deck.

"Hold on," Natsu says.
"Hold on for whAAAAAAHHH?" Lucy questions and screams as Natsu grabs the rope, with his hands wrapped around Lucy's waist, swinging onto the deck of the ship.

"THEY'RE GETTING AWAY!" One of the guards yell. "Looks like we're going to have to do some fighting," Erza says while readying her sword.

"They've come aboard the ship!" Happy yells.
