Exposed (Reprise)

I feel like I may have scared y'all too much haha. I don't think I'm capable of writing something that brings anyone to tears (at least not in this book wink wink) so you don't need to get all worried in that sense.

It was supposed to be a normal day. Well, depending. The two boys were practically soaring every day, nothing in their way literally ever. Like any one, they had a couple of ups and downs when recalling the past, but who doesn't?

Their 'normal' was what any every day person would consider amazing.

However, this day in particular, was especially terrible. Not to never-having-to-work-a-'proper'-job-in-their-lives Kirishima and Bakugou standards, even to the average Joe.

Anyone could understand how this in particular was a fucking nightmare.

But what could go wrong?

Their relationship was amazing. Beyond that, even. Even after being together for a couple months, they both felt as though they were constantly floating, barely wanting to be away from each other. There's nothing they wanted more than the kiss of the other's lips, the sound of the other's voice, the warmth of the other's embrace.

They'd even found out that Kirishima's sister was pregnant. It turned out that those lines she were seeing weren't illusions whatsoever. The blonde had been teased by the red head, with him calling his lover 'uncle Katsu' just to piss him off. He genuinely didn't mind it though.

Kirishima was able to see his family more. Slowly but surely, Bakugou had been meeting them, too. He hadn't worked his way to the parents yet (he was more nervous than he'd ever let himself admit), but he'd even babysat the little ones with Kirishima whenever the situation came up.

Everything was as close to perfect as it ever could be.

They were never short of money or things to do, they could even decide to take a spontaneous trip to god knows where if they really wanted to as long as they had the videos prepared.

Speaking of videos, their channels were both booming. They'd not really spoken more of their relationship or revealed anything of the sort. People had eventually died down somewhat, and although the shipping community were alive and active, people weren't as insistent on it, to say the least.

So this day in particular, was really one that no one saw coming.

Kirishima had just gone shopping. That's all it was. Bakugou would normally go with him and be the one to lead him to all the good ingredients and stuff, but the blonde was sick, so Kirishima insisted on going for him. Part of him wanted to prove himself in some way, considering he knew he knew nothing about cooking or even food for all that matter. He knew it tasted good and that he liked it.

The red head was around the fridge sections when it happened. At the time he was preoccupied by looking at multiple different kinds of cheeses. He had refused to make a list and in attempt to prove something to himself and he swore to himself to not text or call Bakugou at all during this new experience.

Admittedly, he was there for longer than expected. He tried to remember what Bakugou preferred by colour, but after a minute he'd started doubting his own memory of what 'colour' even was.

Just when he thought he'd settled on a couple of blocks, he turned around.

It's not everyday you turn around and see two hyperactive teenage girls in your personal space with their phones out and crazy expressions on their faces. They must've been around thirteen. It was almost terrifying, a scene straight from a horror movie, Kirishima actively having to keep himself from looking uncomfortable.

After a second, he questioned.

"Can... I help you?" He asked with an awkward chuckle, cocking an eyebrow as he dumped the cheeses into the shopping cart.

"Can we get a picture‽" One of the girls asked, clutching her phone tighter as her eyes somehow grew wider.

Kirishima stared blankly, blinking a few times before even beginning to question. Why on earth would they want a picture with him?

"It's a shame Bakugou isn't with you, but this'll do!" The other spoke, clearly a bit less enthusiastic about this than her friend.

At hearing his lover's name, the red head froze.

The hell

Who the hell were these girls‽ They hadn't heard Kirishima speak until after they were stood unbearably close, so why were they asking for a picture‽ That's not even mentioning that they mentioned Bakugou! Even if they were talking to Kirishima as Red Riot, which they had to be, though that made no sense anyway, then there'd still be no way for them to know Ground Zero's name.

He couldn't think.

Honestly, he could barely breathe.

It was hard to tell if this was just unjustified panicking in the moment or if his concerns were actually even the slightest bit valid. He didn't want to overreact, but he also had to deal with this in the moment too. He could think later.

After a couple seconds of even more silence, the girl who spoke first decided to speak again.

"Did we get the wrong person? Is your name Eijirou Kirishima?" She asked, looking at his facial features suspiciously, as though she had actually began to doubt it.

But alas, it was an opportunity.

Raising the pitch and changing the accent of his voice, Kirishima replied. It was a lousy attempt at a disguise, but it was something.

"'Fraid not! Sounds like you're looking for someone else!" He said, though the voice was very obviously fake and his tone definitely reflected that.

After a rather rude eye roll, the girls began walking off, leaving Kirishima completely and utterly in shock. What the fuck was he supposed to do now‽

As the girls were walking away, one of them said something that caught his ear. He was practically frozen on the spot, he couldn't ignore this even if he wanted to.

"Damn. I really thought it was him. I guess it was kinda hard to see in that video?"

Video?

What damn video

There wasn't much thought into what he did next. He pushed the shopping cart down an isle and left it where it wouldn't disturb anyone too much, then completely rushed out to his car. Subconsciously, he kept his head down, afraid that this may happen again.

He just wanted to sit down in his car, call Bakugou, and tell him what the fuck just happened, even if he wasn't entirely sure himself.

After accidentally slamming the door shut, he struggled to get his phone out of his pocket due to the shakiness of his hands and the pace his heart was going at, but he got there in the end.

There was no hesitation as he pressed Bakugou's number, immediately bringing the device to his ear.

The phone didn't even ring once before the blonde picked up.

"Eijirou..." He answered with a pant. It was as though he was almost as disturbed as his counterpart.

"Hey! Is everything alright‽ This really weird thing just-" The red head barely realised how fast he was speaking, he just said the words as they came to him. It was clear to Bakugou that something had already happened at this point.

"You need to come home. Now." The blonde stated, trying his absolute damn hardest to not let his feelings show through what he said.

"What's happened‽ Is-"

"Just fucking listen to me okay‽ If you're gonna be so damn impatient then I might as well just tell you. A video was leaked. Of us. From Deku's party a few weeks ago. Faces, actions, even our damn names."

I feel like I'm really bad at responding to comments. Sometimes I don't get notifications for them and even when I do, I tend to get in the mindset of 'I'll reply when I actually have time' but then I end up forgetting. I'll try and get on top of it!

Sorry for disturbing our bois like this, it hurts me the same it hurts you. I tried to write it differently from normal in a way that's like 'ew no stop' and a lil creepy so hopefully I achieved that ahh I can't write hurtful stuff well.
