They had been tweeting back and forth for a couple of weeks. Slowly but surely, they had learned little things about each other. That Zero liked spicy food, that Red wore fucking crocs, that they both had a strange guilty pleasure for sports anime like Yuri!!! On Ice, Haikyuu!! and Kuroko no Basuke and shounen ai anime like Banana Fish. It was all pretty basic level stuff that, although it wasn't too in-depth, was fun to learn nevertheless.

There was one slightly risky tweet that Kirishima decided to make. He was stalking through Zero's old tweets (as you do) and saw one that was interesting to him. He saw an opportunity to make a joke out of it so he took it, knowing that Zero wouldn't have taken it seriously. It would probably also be enjoyable for the fans reading too if they could see the joke.

However, the replies were not at all what he expected.

Sure it's quite a big place, but I doubt we're at either end of it. I'm pretty far north, so this honestly depends on where he is. But he wants to meet up‽ Even if it was a joke, I know that it's completely possible sometime in the future. I have a car, money and nothing to lose.

He couldn't just reply being like 'Me too!' at this point. This was the opportunity he had been looking for. He'd finally found a solid excuse to direct message Zero.

However, he didn't know what to say. Eventually, he just settled on sending his location and nothing else, which was okay considering the context that led them to this situation.

At first, it was kind of hard to tell if Zero took that as a positive or not. There'd be no reason for him not to, but it was still slightly nerve-wracking.

A notification came through about a minute later, which made the red head jump in his seat.

Without a second thought, Kirishima clicked, figuring out just how far away Zero was from him. It didn't take him long to see that he was in the area of Kanto known as central, which was pretty self-explanatory as it was in the centre of the Kanto region. It was the main attraction of Kanto. Where the tourists would stray to, where all the huge shopping centres were and where many festivals and conventions were held. Even better than that, it was only a one and a half hour drive away from Kirishima's house.

Kirishima chuckled to himself as he read the messages. His heart picked up in pace as soon as they rapidly came through. Fans had speculated that he was quite the tsundere even with his friendships and to see that that was actually somewhat true was rather funny. He could already tell that despite how opinionated Zero was in his videos, he actually struggled to be straight forward about what he was trying to say when it came to his own emotions.

Kirishima didn't even have to think before typing out his next message.

The message was 'read' immediately. Zero was totally waiting for a response, whether he would admit it or not, and Kirishima knew that.

He did as he said as his hands were shaking. From the second Zero accepted his request, they would have the option to voice or video call. Whether they were going to or not didn't matter, the option was still there and it was strangely intimidating.

When it came to people, quite frankly, he didn't care. However, there was something about this Red that made him think twice, made his heart race and made him actually somewhat cautious of what he was saying. He actually cared what he thought of him, which was something the blonde had never experienced before.

So this is how people feel when they talk to a YouTuber they like, huh? He thought. He'd seen how people reacted to when he uploaded and the things they'd say on social media, he wasn't a stranger to the fangirls. He knew that people had written fanfictions, drew fanart, and made whole social media accounts dedicated to him.

That's what he put this feeling down to. He was being acknowledged by someone he had admired for a rather long time, it was only natural. He felt more connected with his fans more now than he ever had, all because of a certain feeling that he had recently experienced for the first time.

Just what in the hell was this atmosphere? Was it flirting? It kinda felt like it. It was more like 'I might have a crush on you but it's impossible to tell whether it'll be a one week thing or something that'll last a lifetime'. It was impossible to tell whether this feeling was just some sort of infatuation or the start of something real, for both sides alike.

Kirishima had to take a second to read through all their messages and let the reality sink in. This was the Ground Zero he was talking to. Someone who had been his favourite YouTuber since before he even started his own channel.

By the time he was done with that, Zero had messaged back, thus their conversation continued. Before they knew it, they had been messaging for almost three hours straight. The time had flown by and hundreds of messages were exchanged between the two in that time. There were a surprising shortage of awkward pauses and one word responses, which was something that Kirishima would've never expected. He wasn't complaining though, this was nice.

Once Kirishima had realised the time, he thought it would be best to start cooking his dinner and/or hop in the shower, so he had to actually end the conversation for now. He didn't want to. He really, really didn't, but he did have to talk care of himself and not reject his needs as a human to keep a conversation going. Bakugou had to do the same too, after all.

As Kirishima continued to look at his phone as he plodded down the stairs, he chuckled at what Bakugou had said. He wants us to have a good ending. Ah- what does that even mean? Ending? Why would we 'end'? God damnit I need to stop thinking.

He shook his head and walked into the kitchen, hissing at his feet suddenly on the cold tiled floor. I don't hate living alone, but this place just feels so damn empty. Maybe I should get a dog or something he thought as he turned on the oven and opened his freezer to find something to eat.

Meanwhile, Bakugou let his phone drop onto his desk as he threw his head back, exhaling to the ceiling. His heart was jumping, in a way it never had before. He only just realised how much his cheeks were hurting because he'd smiled so widely for so long. He wasn't really used to smiling at all anyway, which only added to the soreness of his jaw.

After about an hour, Bakugou remembered a conversation he had with Red, about messaging him when he wasn't around. He smirked to himself as the 'offline' mark was next to his name. He could've just been invisible, but Bakugou was convinced that the red head had no motivation to do that. Even so, he was still cautious.

He didn't know how long to leave it before deleting it, but his heart was weirdly giddy as the message was able to be seen. What he said in itself wasn't risky or anything like that. Hell, it was more just something he would never have admitted to in front of Red himself. Or while knowing he was there at least, no matter how obvious it may have been.

After two minutes, the message was deleted. Bakugou couldn't really handle the sudden adrenaline that even doing so much as sending caused him. The thought of being caught saying that was weirdly like some sort of thrill yet it was genuinely terrifying at the same time.

However, if Bakugou could do this often, he would find complete enjoyment in doing so. Mostly because he knew something that Kirishima didn't which made him feel like he held an advantage over the boy, especially since what he said could've been found at any second.

This was going to be interesting indeed.

They had been talking for about three months at this point, and when the red head finally found an excuse to go down to central, he wasted no time before telling his online friend. Maybe it was bad that as soon as he saw that his sister's wedding was in central he thought about Zero, but it's not like he could help that.

The red head was now freaking out. This worked out better than he could've hoped. In just a week he'd be meeting Zero, and staying at his house for at least 5 days. In his head, he felt like it was about time, but in his heart, he was just concerned that something would go wrong, that he would find a way to mess it up.

There were still many things that the two didn't know about each other. Kirishima didn't know Bakugou's real name, or what he looked like. Bakugou didn't know of Kirishima's unnatural hair colour and extremely impressive muscular build. He knew what he looked like as a kid, but how much he had changed since then was going to be a shock and a half.

Now Kirishima couldn't wait for the next week to pass. Of course, he had to make sure that he had videos ready for when he went away from home, but the chances were that he'd ask Bakugou to collab with him once he was there. They could do what other commentary YouTubers did and sit together and watch something.

Fans would freak out if they knew what the two had planned. Hell, they'd nearly pass out over a collaboration. The fan response on the two of them becoming friends and low-key playfully flirting was extreme. Kirishima had seen it happen to others, but he never really thought he'd be in that position.

Some of the comments they most often received were like 'you can cut this sexual tension with a knife', 'are they even gay? They could be baiting us for publicity', 'can't wait for you two to actually meet one day and see if you can resist after the things you're saying to each other'. Many others were begging for some sort of collab too.

Kirishima had never truly realised how large his audience was. It was something that had never settled in, and was something he was certain would just never settle in at all. When he tried to sit down and think of that big number as individual people that all liked his content for whatever reason then it just got sorta overwhelming.

For the next couple of weeks, the two spent some time planning things out. On the first day, they would just chill at Bakugou's house, hang out, play video games etcetera.

On Tuesday they'd go to the biggest shopping centre in central and just going around anywhere they could.

On Wednesday, they decided to go on a walk and see a movie. One was just coming into cinemas that they both were quite eager on watching, so they thought why not.

Thursday they were going to go suit shopping for Kirishima. He'd come to realise that he didn't really have any clothes that were wedding appropriate, and Bakugou said that he'd rather not find Kirishima dead by his sister's hands if he turned up in crocs. After that, they would finally get that spicy ramen that Kirishima promised he'd buy.
