Wrinkled skin,
slightly senile,
Memory failing,
Heart floundering,
She gazed down at the citylights,
Reminiscing the stars that once adorned the night-sky.
Buildings all around stood too tall
and shone too bright for her to be able to see the night-skies or the fireflies again.

So, wishing on the passing cars like they are shooting stars,
She closes her eyes one last time.

She had wished to see the stars again.
