In the AI dimension, everything was quiet as usual, everyone researching, building the fort, helping the forest and working together. Soon enough, the Serpents started to pair off in their spare time. Especially Rory with Carnivo, for some reason, they were getting closer to one another and frankly, everyone didn't mind.

Rory was keeping Carnivo company with helping in the garden. Rory was doing the heavy lifting for Carnivo like bringing compost and buckets of water. The water AIs installed a pipe from the dam to the well so that they always have water. They were also putting in a pond to take care of water plants in which Kym was drilling to make.

Rory had just put down some compost and spread it out for the plants.

Carnivo: Thank you Rory.

Rory: No problem Carnivo, this place is really coming along.

Carnivo: With all the AIs helping and all this sunshine we have, things are moving great.

Rory saw Carnivo and she was dirty from head to toe.

Rory: Well, you are going to need a bath after today.

Carnivo looks at herself and she had spots of dirt on her dress, skin and face

Carnivo: I should say the same for you.

Rory had patches of dirt on herself all over.

Rory: -laughs- Yeah, let's get cleaned up.

Rory and Carnivo get up and put away the tools they were using and headed back to Carnivo's tree, plumbing had already been installed so that they would have privacy. Rory and Carnivo went to the tub that was installed and took off their clothes.

Rory: Want some help with your hair?

Carnivo: Sure.

Carnivo turned on the water and Rory heated it up with her dragon breath. Rory grabbed some soap and they started to wash the dirt off each other. They even washed each other's' hair to get any dirt out.

Carnivo could see Rory's metal scales on her body and her metal tail just moving randomly. When they were done they dried each other off and dried their hair. Carnivo put on some new clothes and Rory brought along a spare set in case she got dirty but her armor was off and on the side so she wouldn't dirty it.

Rory checked the time and she had to go out to patrol.

Rory: Got to patrol soon, be safe.

Carnivo: I will.

Rory came out of Carnivo's tree, went down it and took off with her flame wings to do patrol. One of the Water AIs that was humanized was watching the wolves pass by as she was helping Kym with the pond. She saw Scarlet on Willac and Cody on Maia as they were heading towards a checkpoint. Kym came up and saw her watching the wolves.

Kym came down and talked to the Water AI.

Kym: Would like to ride one of them Dakota?

Dakota was startled when Kym came behind her.

Dakota: Hey, even though you are so big you are so quiet above ground.

Kym: Because I am above ground, you don't hear me since I'm not digging for something.

Dakota: I know, but still.

Kym: But back on topic, wondering what it's like to ride one of them?

Dakota: -sighs- Yeah, feeling that wind in your face while you are just riding on a wolf.

Kym: You know all you had to do was just ask.

Dakota: You haven't been counting; all of the wolves are taken.

Kym: You have been thinking about the ones on the team, you haven't thought about the ones that stood behind.

Dakota: Who?

Kym went on her com.

Kym: Hey Fang.

Fang is one of the wolves that stood behind in AI city to help with defenses and research while the Serpent was out so that the Wolf Spartans could be built. They were studying him so that they would know what to look for to make them. He was on a Dyno track to see if any more upgrades and mods could be built, when Kym contacted him he was in hybrid form.

Fang: -panting- Yeah.

Kym: One of the AIs here wants to take them out for a back run like the others.

Fang: Are they humanized; I don't want some metal digging into my spine.

Kym: No they are not.

Fang: All right, they want to work on endurance and riding mod so it would be a nice tryout.

Kym: We are at Dryad Sanctuary; she will be waiting on you.

Fang: Wait, it's a she?

Kym: Just get here.

Kym hung up.

Kym: OK, he will be here soon, anything else I got to dig out.

Dakota checks the plans.

Dakota: All good, you can head out now.

Kym heads through a tunnel she made so that she made and closed it back up. Dakota sent the report that the pond was dug out so that a concrete base could be added. When the report was sent, Dakota sat down and waited near a tree. After a while she saw a wolf coming in with an Exo-suit but this one had wires and pieces of armor to monitor his body and record it. The wolf switched back to hybrid form and looked around.

Dakota got up and went to him.

Dakota: Fang?

Fang turned around and saw Dakota.

Fang: Hi there, are you the one who asked for a ride?

Dakota: Yeah, it was pretty dumb.

Fang hears the other wolves leaving the checkpoint with the girls leaving on their backs. He turns around and sees them take off to the next checkpoint.

Fang: Well, if you see that, you got to try it at least once, I think others call it a bucket list.

Dakota Bucket List, It's a list of things you want to do before you die.

Fang: Well, you could mark this off, hop on.

Dakota: You are letting me?

Fang: I need to stretch my legs anyway and I want to see what the fuss is about when the others let them ride him. Just watch the wires please.

Dakota: Isn't this supposed to be wireless?

Fang: These devices record so much a wireless connection wasn't cutting it so they switched back to high speed wires and a massive memory to last for a couple of hours.

Fang switched to his wolf form and Dakota got on. She was watching the wires and made sure they were not harmed. Dakota held on tight and Fang took off giving her a decent ride. Dakota could feel the wind hitting her, the excitement from riding Fang and to see what she was missing all that time. Fang soon caught up to Willac and Cody and stayed even with them.

Scarlet and Maia saw them riding next to them.

Scarlet: Wanted to see how fun this was?

Dakota: Yeah, it's pretty great.

Maia: Wait until you get out to the flats, then he can really let loose.

Scarlet: We got to split up from here, have fun.

Willac and Cody split up from there and headed to another checkpoint. When Fang got to the flats, passing by Lava Caverns, he was gunning it hard and Dakota was hanging on. Dakota saw them run past Lava Caverns to a checkpoint. When Fang got there, Dakota got off and Fang turned back to hybrid mode.

Fang: How was that?

Dakota: -panting- That was exciting, I can see why the others like it.

Fang: Let's catch our breath before we head back.

Fang and Dakota head inside and sat down to catch their breath; Dakota went to get some water while Fang checked the equipment on him to make sure it was ok and see how much information it had. It was almost half full when he checked it.

Fang: I got one more run left in me but its back to AI city.

Dakota: OK.

Fang and Dakota caught themselves before heading back out. Fang switched to wolf form and Dakota got on, he took off and headed back to AI city. When they got there, the memory for the device was almost full.

Fang: Had fun?

Dakota: Yeah, mind if I call you again for another ride?

Fang: I don't see any harm there, now I have to go and get all of this information to the AIs here, see you later.

Dakota: Bye

Fang headed back inside and Dakota went to the Den, while she was going out she saw Vile moving over her heading to the dryads after catching a shower from helping out the construction crew. Vile went to the dryads and touched down gently; he switched back into hybrid mode and came to Lily.

Lily: Hello Vile, how are you?

Vile: I'm ok, construction on the fort is halfway complete

Lily went to Vile and he kneeled down and hugged her gently, he picked her up and carried her in his arms to her tree. Vile went inside and set her down gently. She went to take a bath and Vile waited for her outside. When she was done she put on new clothes and came to him and hugged him from behind.

Vile: How did things go today?

Lily: We got more done and the pond is being built, along with a place for the bees.

Vile: That's good, how are you feeling?

Lily: Great, now that you are here.

Lily had her things to sleep outside again with Vile; Vile picked her up and took her to his spot that he can keep watch. Vile switched to dragon mode and Lily went under his wing and got comfortable. Vile used his breath to warm her up a little. When she was warm enough, Lily was comfortable and fell asleep easily. Vile kept watch on the forest while Lily slept. Selina and Mathew were heading back to the den, they were talking while they were heading back in their Spartans

Selina: So you were a mechanical engineer?

Mathew: Yeah, building and designing things is my thing but I never worked on things this advanced.

Selina: Never?

Mathew: You guys are decades ahead of what we can build but a few years ahead of what Pure has.

Selina: What makes you say that?

Mathew: Wind City for one thing, an entire city just running on just the wind around it. It would take a long time to get that started on our side.

Selina: I see, what about the lava upgrade?

Mathew: Yeah, we won't be able to do that, only Pure could do that and he only has the magma engine at the moment.

Selina: I think the Lava AIs can make some upgrades to that.

Mathew: Could, but what about you, what did you do when you were full AI?

Selina: I used to take care of the wind turbines; it's how I know so much about them.

Mathew: That's nice

Both of them made it back to the Den and put their Spartans up. Once they got out of them, they got a bite to eat before heading to their quarters to sleep.

Mathew: Well, it's been a long day, we should get some rest.

Selina: All right, good night.

Both of them walked away from each other but Mathew said something.

Mathew: Hey Selina.

Selina turns around and looks at Mathew.

Selina: Yes?

Mathew: Do you want to, you know go out sometime?

Selina: Go out where?

Mathew: You know, go out on a date.

Selina: You would do that with me?

Mathew: Well, you are trying new things out like I am so why hold you back?

Selina thought about it for a minute.

Selina: All right.

Mathew: How about we go when things are calm, like the weekend?

Selina: OK.

Selina and Mathew head into their quarters and turn in for the night. Everyone wants to do more than just learn, they want to experience things and with everyone being more open-minded, it can happen.
