EVERYTHING THAT WAS UNSAID
::  iv. | makeouts & music

Sarah was with the band, they were sitting around, making random sounds. They were in Daniel's garage. It was her, Daniel, zion, carter, and cayden. Sarah was on the phone when she asked Daniel . . .

"So, did some random girl come up to you today asking about me?"

"Yeah, actually. Thought she was a creep at first." Daniel was tuning his guitar, "Until she told me you sent her."

"But did you give it to her?" She tried to pry answers out of him. It was important, Sarah had to know.

"Uh, yeah. You owe me by the way." He mentioned and she playfully rolled my eyes.

"I got it!" Zion shot up from the black foldable chair. Everyone turned their heads towards him as he picked up his guitar. It was a melody with a few lyrics. It was sweet, at least Sarah thought so.

What usually happens in their sessions is one of them figures out the first part of the song, then from there they all chime in and sing whatever comes out with the melody. She's known these guys so long and trust her, being a part of a band was the last thing on her mind . . . but she enjoys it.

Eventually time flew by and the guys were packing it up for the night when Sarah walked back into the garage. Daniel and her said their goodbyes to the guys. They left and it was just her and Daniel. She would've left too but she wanted to show him something first.

She walked over to her bag and pulled out her song book. The blonde flipped through it and found the song she'd been working on for a little while now.

"Hey, Daniel." Sarah announced, as she walked over to him. He was standing near the mic. "So there's this song I've been working on, I thought you could listen to it for a second?"

"Yeah, sure. I'll bring the guitars over." He mentioned and smiled with a slight nod, as she waited by the mic.

In just a few seconds, he handed her one of the guitars. As she slipped the strap over her head, he picked up the paper with the song on it from the stand to read through a little bit. Daniel then started to strung the guitar, playing a random melody as be began to sing the words. Sarah began to sing with him.

As time went on, the time peaking ten at night, the two continued to sing and mess around with the melody. Things were getting intense. Their eyes were glued to each other's. Did she like him? Sure, but only as a friend. But in this moment, right now, they weren't thinking at all. He smashed his lips onto her's, like it was the last time he'll ever kiss her. Sarah of course kissed back. They both placed down the guitars and resumed back to where they were . . against each other's lips.

His hands —— Daniel's hands were so soft, yet also rough like. Sarah felt his hands pinching her skin as it was tucked in his grip. Things soon started to get heated. This wasn't just a make out anymore, they rushed to take their clothes off. She looked up and noticed he was fully undressed. She quickly looked back down as she tried to unbutton her pants. Just as she was doing so, Daniel's hands were on her's, he bent down and began to place small, yet sweet kisses on her stomach as he proceed to help her unbutton her pants.

She soon stepped out her pants and Daniel took no hesitation to pin her against the wall of the garage. They continued to kiss and leave hickeys. Soon enough she was turned around against the opposite wall from where they were before. Her hands were pressed up against it as Daniel was doing whatever he was doing from behind.

She's usually not so eager to giving her body to anyone, but this is Daniel. A boy she knew for so long, that she completely trust. Though, she doesn't feel a more than a friend way about him, she still felt safe for some reason.

"I can't believe we just did that with the garage open." Sarah mentioned as they laid on the cold ground, panting.

"I can't believe my parents haven't come to check on us yet." He looked at her.

Sarah sat up and turned to face him, with her hand being placed on his chest, "Wanna make this a casual thing?"

"Casual?" He questioned like he didn't understand.

She nodded, "No feelings, no attachments. Just two friends getting it on." She watch as he glanced outside, it was pitch black dark. Just as he was about to say something, she interrupted, "Shit, Rebecca!" She remembered Rebecca was meeting her at her house for a late night project hang.

As soon as she remembered, she rushed Daniel to get up and get dress as she did. The two eventually headed to his car and got in. The car was soon put into drive and was off to Sarah's house.

After a couple minutes drive, Daniel pulled up in front of her house and there she was —— on the passenger side still waiting for an answer.

"Thanks for the ride." She gave him a small smile before attempting to leave out the car.

"Hey, I'm down."

She heard him. Sarah turn her head at him and once again, gave him a small smile. She then got out the car and walked up to the front door.

She pulled the key out her pocket and placed it in the door. As she walked in, she saw her brother Jude jump down the steps and head towards the kitchen. She closed and locked the door before heading there herself. She looked around and everyone was down here, except Mariana. She found that weird, if this is a family meeting, she should be here too. Sarah then remembered about her friend and so she just walked over to her mom.

"Did I have a friend come by?" She questioned as she was just approaching her mom, while her mom sat at the island in the middle of the kitchen.

"Yes, I sent her home." Stef told her and Sarah's eyes widen.

"What? Why?" She started to raise her voice, "We have a project due Friday!"

"It's late, my love." She threw at her daughter.

"She could've spent the night." Sarah crossed her arms.

"Since when do you care about school?" Her other sister, Callie chimed in.

"Since when do you care about my education?" She shot back at Callie, before aggressively sighing and leaving the kitchen to go upstairs.

Once getting to her room, Sarah pulled out her phone. There was no text. Nothing. She knew Rebecca had her number. She just thought Rebecca would text to wonder why her mom kicked her out.

She's glad everything's back to normal though.

She remembered when it was hard to get back in the swing of things. Parents sniffing down her back every five seconds to see if she's using again. Her siblings walking on eggshells around her, then her friends . . . who didn't know what to say.

Now, her friends say everything. Her siblings are more annoying as usual, except her little brother Jude, whom she adores. Then her parents, who aren't down her back anymore but check in every so often.

Little do they know, Sarah's good at hiding things when needed.
