you woke up with ethan's warm body laid next to yours. the coldness of the night snuck upon you, even when ethan lied next to you.

silently, you stood up to the window and saw something that made you scrunch your eyebrows. you lived in houston texas where it was always hot, even in the winter. but something was different. it was 30 degrees outside and you could've sworn you saw snow.

"ethan," you shoved him awake with your foot.

he woke up with his eyes wide. "what's wrong? what happened, baby?"

"is that snow?" you point outside the window.

he gets up and brings you in close. "yeah. have you never seen snow before?" you shake your head. "really? y/n, your joking, right?"

"we live in texas for crying out loud!" you argue back. "it does look cool though."

"come on. let's go enjoy it," he kisses your head and you both get dressed in warm clothes before going outside and enjoying the first snowfall in houston texas in eight years.
