you and ethan don't know what you guys are yet...you and him kissed once and you believe it was a mistake. but you like him, and you don't know if ethan likes you back.

Amariah POV
"my brother is coming home soon, do you want to go home," ethan says tugging my the sleeve of my sweater.

"no i want to actually see him. you've been wanting me to avoid him everytime i come over to your house," i whine.

ethan raises an eyebrow. "you want to see him huh?"

i nod my head before hearing the door knock. i stand up off the couch and watch ethan walking towards the door while making a fist. he hesitantly opens the door showing his twin brother, grayson. he seems more tan and buff than ethan and his hair is a lot neater and shorter. "hey ethan! and who's the pretty lady?" grayson says pointing at me. i begin to blush from what he said, and i notice ethan clenching his jaw. we aren't even together! we kissed once and that was a mistake.

we are friends now...

"that's amariah," ethan says with a straight face looking at me. i still have my crimson red cheeks showing while giving an awkward wave to grayson. "she's pretty," grayson says. (amariah is pretty)

i smile even though i was freaking out on the inside. "thanks gray," i say.

"okay!" ethan blurts. "how about a movie?"

grayson and i jump and say yes at the same time. we both jump on the couch until i was dragged away from grayson by ethan. i was pulled into ethan's room and the door shut. i turn around to see ethan red, his blood boiling. "what was that?" he asked with a frustrated look.

"what's wrong?" i say innocently.

"you know grayson is flirting with you and you don't seem to care that we kissed a while ago," ethan says.

"that kiss meant nothing to you ethan, quit being like this," i say and start walking away. i open the door and meet grayson turning on the tv.

"what do you think we should watch?" he says shooting from his spot to give me space on the couch. i sit next to him, "maybe something funny."

grayson turns his head towards me and smirks. "i was more on something romantic. i'm in a mood right now."

i raise an eyebrow. "why are you in a mood?"

"because i there's a beautiful girl sitting next to me giving me butterflies in my stomach," grayson saying with the most confident voice ever. i blush hard and smile.

"thanks grayson you're so sweet," i say kinda squeaking. that's when ethan walks in and sees how close grayson and i are on the couch. ethan left hand starts clenching into a fist, but it loosens and he calms down.

"what do you guys want to watch?" ethan blurts.

"grayson and i thought about a romantic movie," i say with a smirk to piss off ethan. ethan's breath hitches before taking the remote and putting on a romance movie.

during the movie grayson kept on whispering in my ear about his hobbies and i talked to him about mine. ethan was watching us the entire time, really annoyed from how close grayson and i already are.

"be right back, i'm gonna get some water," i says standing up about to walk away but hear ethan, "yeah i have to use the bathroom."

he stand up too and grayson continues watching the movie. i get into the kitchen and smirk at myself for how much i pissed off ethan. however part of me felt bad because i do like ethan.

i open the fridge and pull out a water bottle. when i close it i see ethan right next to me. i gasp a little but stayed quiet since grayson was near.

"ethan, you scared m-" i manage to whisper before ethan pushed his lips to mine. i got pushed against the counter which took me by surprise. i kiss back because i wanted this ever since i kissed him a while ago. he cups my cheek and deepens the kiss and i couldn't help but smile during it. the kiss was so passionate and i couldn't help but fall deeply into it. i needed this, and now i'm complete. ethan smiles and detaches our lips. "were you jealous?" i whisper with a smirk. my eyes move to grayson who's looking at the movie.

"yes i was because he was flirting with a girl i really like," ethan whispers back. i giggle quietly before saying, "well i like you too ethan."

"amariah, can we," ethan says caressing my cheek making my heart flutter. "...be together?"

i smile. "of course ethan," i say back.

ethan smiles and kisses my forehead. after that he whispers, "we have to get back to the movie since grayson's probably suspicious."

i nod my head and we walk together and i sit next to grayson on the couch. i kept my eyes on ethan and he kept his eyes on mine. he had a toothless smile that i would not forget ever.

grayson was still talking to me unaware that ethan and i had a moment during the movie. ethan saw that he was still flirting with me but i gave ethan a look to reassure him.

i kept on watching the movie trying to not start an awkward moment. "hey amariah," grayson says smoothly putting his arm around the back of my shoulder. "you're very beautiful and seem like a person i would like to hang out with, so..."

i look at him straight in the face. "can we hangout sometime?" he asks.

i smile and turn my head to see ethan giving me the crazy glare. "of course grayson," i says calmly.

grayson smiles back and after a while of constant exchange of glances between ethan and i, the movie ended.

"well grayson, amariah needs to leave," ethan blurts and grayson smiles. "ok i'll see you sometime amariah," grayson says.

i give him a. hug before he walked into his room. i was about to walk out the door but then ethan grabs my hand. "are we a thing or are you just messing with me," ethan asks.

i give him a concerning look. "no i just want to be friends with grayson that's it."

he sighs of relief. "amariah, i actually really like you. i would like it if you were my... girlfriend."

i smile. "and i would like you to be my boyfriend."

ethan smiles and kisses my cheek before i leave the house. i got in the car and smiled at myself.
