v. big plan

It took all weekend for Lilith to calm down after Johnny kicked her out of Cobra Kai before she wasn't practically shaking in anger constantly.

Now, it was Monday and Lilith was feeling a lot better. With a big smile on her face, she started walking towards Biology class with a huge smile on her face. It was her class with almost her entire friend group, Eli being the only one not in it.

"You know who lives like that? Hookers."

Lilith's smile faltered at Demetri's voice, she turned around and noticed the two boys walking in the smae direction as her just a couple feet behind her, completely engrossed in their conversation. Lilith stopped walking so the boys could catch up to her and they could all walk together.

"Hey, boys." She sang once they reached her. The boys muttered small hello's to Lilith as they all started walking, Demetri in between Miguel and Lilith. Miguel leaned forward so he could see Lilith past Demetri and gave her a small smile. "Lilith, can you please tell Demetri not to quit karate?" Miguel pleaded.

Lilith sighed, looking down at the floor as she almost instantly shook her head. "If I wasn't absolutely pissed at Sensei, I would." Lilith started. Miguel's face fell, remembering that Lilith had been kicked out of Cobra Kai. He frowned as she shrugged, looking up at him. "Plus, Demetri's is paying for it. If he doesn't want to spend his money on it, he shouldn't have to."

A grateful smile grew on Demetri's face as he lazily wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Thank you, Lili." He said as they entered the classroom where Jake was waiting for them, having a table for the four of them to sit at saved. Lilith laughed, shrugging off Demetri's shoulder as they reached the table.

Lilith smirked as an idea popped into her head. Without much thought, Lilith reached behind Demetri and grabbed Miguel's hand. Before Demetri could sit down anywhere, Lilith pulled herself and Miguel to the empty side of the table, leaving Demetri having to sit next to Jake.

Jake and Miguel both blushed; Jake blushing once he realized Demetri would be sitting next to him and Miguel blushing because he is holding hands with Lilith. Demetri ignored Lilith's urgency to sit beside Miguel, thinking it was pretty normal of her and casually sat down next to Jake.

Small giggles coming from all around the class made Lilith turn her head. Her smile fell at Sam walking in, a blow pop stuck to her shoulder.

Without a moment's hesitation, Lilith rose from her seat, her movements graceful and purposeful. Miguel watched, curious about her sudden departure, his gaze following her across the room.

Reaching Sam, Lilith leaned in, her gesture swift and gentle, removing the lollipop. Sam, figuring Lilith bracelet just snagged on her hair and unaware of the quiet act of kindness performed on her behalf, continued to her seat without pause, while Lilith disposed of the canny and made her way back to her seat beside Miguel.

As she walked towards him, Miguel's gaze met hers. In that moment, Miguel saw a new side of Lilith. A part he always figured was there, but never got to see for himself. His heart skipped a beat, realizing the depth of his feelings for her. Miguel looked at Lilith with absolute adoration and practical heart eyes.

Lilith met Miguel's gaze and felt an immediate flutter within her, a mixture of surprise from her act being noticed and giddiness over the look Miguel was giving her.

"It's 'cause she gives blowjobs. Get it? Blow Pop. Blow job." Demetri said as Lilith sat down. The butterflies fluttering in her stomach quickly died as she glared at the boy sitting behind her. Jake gave Demetri an unamused expression, his eyebrows raising sarcastically. "Hilarious." He muttered.

Lilith could feel Miguel's eyes still on her and she took this moment to finally turn to him. She gave him a small smile that would've knocked him off of his feet if he was standing up. "What?" She asked quietly. Miguel could've sworn he heard a giggle pass through her words, only making the butterflies in his stomach grow more.

He opened his mouth to speak, to compliment her. The words were on the tip of his tongue before— "Hey, everybody. Who let the pigs out?" Their Biology teachers voice boomed, making Miguel jump, not expecting the man to speak. Miguel frowned as Lilith looked away from him and to the teacher, his shoulders slumping.

"I did, because I ordered the fetal pigs." The teacher joked, earning no laugh from his students. Not even a pity laugh. He swallowed awkwardly, clearing his throat as he pointed amongst the students. "But seriously, get in your groups."

Without a word, Miguel and Lilith turned their chairs around to face Jake and Demetri, the four of them in a group together.

Lilith sighed as she got comfortable in her seat. She placed her elbow on the table and her chin on her hand as she frowned. "I kinda feel bad for the man. He's more awkward than Demetri." Lilith muttered about their teacher, careful not to speak to loud so the man didn't hear her.

Demetri's jaw dropped as Miguel and Jake held back their laughs. "Hey!" The boy complained. Lilith dropped her hand from under her chin, raising her eyebrows and silently asking "Are you serious?"

Demetri, still holding an offended expression, turned to Jake and Miguel, hoping one of them would back him up. As soon as his eyes fell on the two boys, they turned away from him, making it painfully obvious that they were trying not to make eye contact.

"Oh, who wants to take Samantha in? This little piggy needs a group." The teacher asked as Demetri huffed in defeat.

Considering Sam was their friend and they knew the rumors going around about Sam weren't true, both Jake and Lilith raised their hands, offering Sam a spot in their group. Sam smiled at her friends, she quickly grabbed her things from her old table before moving to sit with Lilith, Jake, Demetri, and Miguel at their table, putting her chair dangerously close to Miguel's to sit beside him.

Lilith didn't think much of the action, figuring Sam would want to get close to the group so she could hear her and Demetri better since they were on the other end of the table as her. Miguel noticed Sam's closeness and casually moved his chair closer to Lilith's without either of the girls noticing.

Besides a couple of comments from Demetri that earned him a kick in the shin from Lilith or a light smack on the arm from Jake, the five worked on their project with ease. Lilith read on of the upcoming questions on their assignment and squinted as she looked down to the groups pig. "What were you thinking for sex?"

Miguel coughed at Lilith's words, his eyes wide as he struggled for air. The whole classroom turned to him and their group at the loud noise. Lilith gently raised her hand and tapped Miguel's back, hoping to help clear his airways. Once he caught his breath again, Miguel looked to Lilith with wide eyes. "Wh- What?"

Lilith smiled at Miguel, finally realizing why he had such a big reaction. She laughed and nodded her head to their pig. "Because in the male, this tract opens up near the umbilical cord." Lilith said through laughs, making Miguel blush once he realized she was talking about the pig. His eyes followed to where she was looking as she continued. "So I think ours is female."

Miguel cleared his throat, hoping to lose the nervousness he was feeling the blush growing by the second. "Yeah. Um... Yeah, I concur." He managed to let out. Demetri and Jake watched Miguel fumble words. They turned to each other, shaking their heads in disappointment.

Lilith laughed at Miguel's choice of words, raising her eyebrows. "Concur?" She asked and Miguel nodded, not being able to hold back a smile at the big one on Lilith's face. Demetri watched the two back and forth and held back the urge to gag. He turned to Jake, rolling his eyes while he opened his mouth and pointed inside, fake gagging.

Jake smiled at Demetri beside him and nudged the boys shoulder with his own before wrapping his arm around Demetri's shoulders to jokingly comfort him. Demetri's eyes widened at the action, his eyes slowly turning to follow where Jake's hand rested on his opposite shoulder, his fingertips unknowingly tracing a small pattern on his shoulder.

"Thanks for, um, helping me out, by the way. With the fight." Sam blurted, making the groups eyes turn to her. The two pair pulled themselves out of their small moments and watched as Sam gave Miguel a big smile. A small part of Lilith felt a twinge of anger at this. She defended Sam first, why wasn't she getting any thanks?

Miguel, confused about the same thing, shook his head. "Oh. Yeah. Someone had to take care of those assholes." He said before nodding his head to Lilith. "Especially after how they acted towards you and Lilith." Miguel said.

Sam's smile faltered just barely, but she quickly composed it before any questions could be asked. She nodded her head, a small but fake smile on her face. "Yeah. Me and Lilith."

Without another word, Sam turned back to the assignment. Lilith continued to watch her with furrowed brows, she felt a small iffy feeling in her gut as she watched the girl, but after a couple of seconds of watching Sam just do her work, Lilith shook it off.

As soon as Lilith looked away from Sam and down to her own paper, Sam looked up at turned to Miguel, the small smile that was once on her face coming right back.

...

After school, Lilith drove Jake, and Demetri home. She usually drove Eli home too, but he didn't show up to school that day, only telling her he had "big plans".

When Lilith got home, parents were still at work so she made herself a snack and headed up to her room to work on homework. When Lilith walked into her room, dropped her bag onto her bed and walked to her closest to change into comfier clothes.

Her mood dropped when she opened her drawer and was met with her karate gi. Lilith huffed at the sight. She grabbed the gi into a tight handful before she threw it down on the floor. "Stupid asshole. Kicking me out for defending my friends." She muttered to herself angrily, grabbing her Kurt Cobain shirt and sweatpants, angrily changing into them.

Once she was in her new outfit, Lilith walked towards her bed, the anger from Johnny kicking her out of the dojo still persistent in her mind.

She opened her backpack and started to take everything out. Her hands trembled as each textbook slammed down a little too hard on the bed, movements jerky with the effort of holding back her anger. It felt as if she were a dam about to burst, every fiber of her being straining against the pressure of emotions.

The anger begged for release, screamed to be let out, yet she clenched her jaw and forced it down. She had to force it down. She couldn't let the anger get the best of her and her parents send her back to boarding school. Lilith had too much on the line.

It was exhausting, this endless battle to maintain control. She angrily opened her laptop to start her homework and immediately froze when she received a video message from Miguel. Lilith felt the anger in her body slowly seep away. Slowly, she reached for her mouse pad and clicked on the message.

Her whole screen turned blue, a sad cartoon pig sitting in the center of the screen. "Science is murder! Lilith, why did you dissect me? I could've gone somewhere in life. I could've been bacon!" The pig cried in Miguel s voice. Lilith laughed at the video, the anger gone completely. She brought a hand up to her mouth to hide her laughs when the cartoon pig started to smile. "Just joking. It's Miguel. Let me know if you need the notes from today's class. Also you should check your front door."

Lilith's laughs died down at Miguel's last sentence, confused. "What?" She muttered to herself.

As if on cue, the sound of a knock echoed from the front door. Lilith looked to the door of her room and huffed. She pushed herself off the bed and quickly headed downstairs, figuring Miguel was at the front door.

Just as she suspected, the door swung open, revealing Miguel Diaz standing nervously on Lilith's doorstep, Johnny Lawrence by his side. The sight of Johnny on her doorstep was unexpected. Her eyes flickered briefly to Miguel, waiting an explanation. Miguel didn't give her one though, his eyes glued on Lilith. "Ni-Nice Cobain shirt." He complimented.

Lilith looked down at her clothes and smiled at the compliment. She turned back to Miguel and felt her cheeks heat up, but she completely ignored it. "Thank you." She answered sweetly before turning to Johnny, the sweetness in her face and voice leaving in a second. "What the hell do you want?"

Johnny cleared his throat, his usual confidence taking a hit in the face of the task at hand. "Queen of England—" Johnny was cut off by Miguel whacking Johnny's shoulder. The man groaned before huffing. "Lilith," He corrected, making the girl raise her eyebrows in shock. She was surprised Johnny even remembered her name.

"I came here to say I'm sorry." He started, his voice revealing a hint of the discomfort. "For kicking you out because you yelled at me. It was... it was actually kind of badass."

Lilith's brows arched in surprise, but she didn't speak, letting Johnny continue his apology.

"You stood up for your friend and what you believed in, and I let my pride get in the way." Johnny continued, his gaze steady on Lilith's. "You're one of the best fighters Cobra Kai's got. I want you back in Cobra Kai, if you'll have us."

Miguel nervously tapped his foot, watching Lilith and Johnny back and forth. After a brief pause, Lilith nodded, a small smile breaking through. "I appreciate the apology, Sensei. I'll come back to Cobra Kai." She said, making Miguel and Johnny turn to each other, both of them celebrating. Lilith smiled at the two, tilting her head. "I still want to learn how to kick ass, after all."

Miguel couldn't contain his excitement. He rushed forward and wrapped Lilith in a tight hug, lifting her into the air. Lilith let out a surprised squeal, her arms latching around Miguel's shoulders in fear he'd drop her. The sudden warmth of his embrace took Lilith by surprise, sending a flurry of butterflies storming through her stomach.

Johnny smiled at the two teens, watching as Miguel put Lilith down. When they pulled away, Lilith turned to Johnny. The man offered a rare, genuine smile, extending his hand to Lilith. "Welcome back." Lilith smiled at the gesture, reaching her hand out to grab Johnny's to shake.

When Lilith and Johnny's hands dropped from each other's, Miguel let out another cheer, pulling Lilith into another hug. "You're back in Cobra Kai!" He screamed, most likely disrupting many of Lilith's neighbors day.

"We have class in thirty minutes if you want to come, Queen of England." Johnny offered. Immediately—and still hugging Miguel—Lilith nodded her head. "Hell yeah!"

...

There were only about a handful of kids that decided to stay in Cobra Kai after Johnny's persistent bullying, Jake being one of them. He, Lilith, Miguel, and Aisha all lined up in the front row with the rest of the class lined up behind them.

When Johnny walked out of his office, Miguel's eyes followed him. "Three more absences, Sensei." He said before his eyes flickered to Lilith's reflection and he smiled. "But we gained one student."

Lilith looked into on the mirror, smiling at Miguel's  reflection staring at her. When the two locked eyes in the mirror, both of them blushed. Before either could acknowledge the others reaction, Johnny stepped in front of them, blocking the sight of their reflection.

Miguel and Lilith's smiles slowly fell as the man in front of them tiredly sighed. "It's my fault." He admitted. Lilith's eyebrows raised slightly. She couldn't believe Johnny was actually admitting his wrongs. "Since you joined Cobra Kai, I have been hard on you. I've called you names. I've humiliated you. Some of you I've hit. And for that, I don't apologize." He told the students.

"Cobra Kai is about strength. If you're not strong on the inside, you can't be strong on the outside. And right now you're all weak. And I know that because I was you. I used to have no friends. Used to be the weirdo kid." He said before his eyes widened and he quickly shook his head defensively. "Not that weird; I still hooked up with babes and all, but..."

Lilith rolled her eyes. Johnny, whose eyes happened to fall on her just as she did so, realized he was getting off topic and quickly retraced his footsteps. "The point is, I wasn't always the badass sensei I am today. Just like a cobra, I had to shed my loser skin to find my true power. And you guys will too."

Once Johnny finished his pep talk, the bell above the dojo rang as someone walked in. Every head turned to see who entered and immediately Lilith, Jake, and Miguel's eyes widened at the sight of Eli standing at the edge of the mat with new wardrobe and a tall blue mohawk.

"What the hell..." Jake whispered as Lilith let out a shocked laugh. Johnny, not recognizing Eli, smiled at the new student. "Welcome to Cobra Kai."

"Eli, what happened?" Miguel asked, part of him not believing this was Eli standing in front of him. Eli smirked at the question. "I'm flipping the script."

"Wait, are you the kid with the lip?" Johnny asked, finally noting the faint scar that ran from the edge of the boys nose to his lip. He smiled, nodding his head in a proud manner. "Nice cut, bro." Johnny turned back to his students, pointing at Eli. "You see that? Doesn't matter if you're a loser or a nerd or a freak. All that matters is that you become badass."

Johnny turned back to Eli and matched his smirk. "Hawk. Fall in."

Eli, now Hawk, shrugged his backpack off his shoulders and took off his shoes. He walked through the row of students and when he passed Lilith, the girl snickered. "Big plan?" She asked and Hawk smirked, nodding his head. "Big plan." He answered, making Lilith nod her head.

Jake watched Hawk with wide eyes and a dropped jaw as he moved to stand next to him. They dapped each other up, the shock slowly leaving Jake's face as he smiled at his friend before they turned back to Johnny, moving their hands behind their backs to show him their full attention.

"Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Johnny asked, walking right up to Jake. Johnny was a little iffy on Jake being in the team at first, but Johnny saw something in the boy. It was almost a mix of potential and familiarity. But he couldn't put his finger on it.

Jake kept his head straight and his eyes ahead as he answered. "No, Sensei!"

Johnny took a step, now standing in front of Lilith. When the two locked eyes, Lilith smiled at the man through her eyes. Johnny returned the gesture, making sure to keep the rest of his face stone cold. "Pain does not exist in this dojo, does it?"

"No, Sensei." Lilith answered. Johnny nodded his head and took another step, now standing in front of Miguel. "Defeat does not exist in this dojo, does it?" He asked. Miguel showed his smile to his Sensei, unable to control it. "No, Sensei."

Johnny stepped back, now standing in front of the whole class. "Class, are you ready to learn the way of the fist?"

"Yes, Sensei!"
