In the middle of the night, Hyunjin woke up sweaty and trembling. Tears ran down his cheeks and his breath went intermittently.

Whimpering, he pulled his legs to his chest and wrapped his arms around them.

"It's all good babe.. I'm here," Felix muttered sleepily and wrapped his arm around the elder's waist. His voice sounded incredibly rough and deep, but Hyunjin immediately felt better.

"Nightmare?" Felix asked quietly and gently caressed Hyunjin's back.

He turned around sniffing and buried himself in the arms of the younger one. "It was so terrible..." he whispered. At least he no longer trembled, but he simply couldn't suppress his sobs.

"It's all good.. that was just a dream," Felix murmured, buried his fingers in Hyunjin's soft hair and pulled on it gently.

He knew exactly how he could get the older to other thoughts and thus made sure that a shiver ran over the body of the older one.

Hyunjin took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment. "Oh Lix..." he muttered and was incredibly relieved that he wasn't alone right now.

"Sleep or watch a series?" Felix asked yawning. He was still incredibly tired and just wanted to keep sleeping, but he definitely didn't want Hyunjin to feel alone.

"Sleep... I feel like we've just fallen asleep," the elder mumbled and closed his eyes yawning.

"Sleep well then, Jinnie.. and wake me up if anything should happen," Felix murmured, pressed a kiss on Hyunjin's lips and then closed his eyes.

Giggling, the older one cuddled up to him and slipped around a little to find a comfortable position and wrapped his arm around Felix. "I love you babe.. Sleep well, too."

"I love you too," Felix whispered and also had to giggle.

It took quite a while for Hyunjin to fall asleep again. But Felix played gently with his hair and at some point began to tell him the story that his mother had told him for years to fall asleep.

Finally, Felix his soft, deep voice carried him away and with that he finally managed to fall asleep again.

Gently smiling, Felix stroked through his best friend's hair before he snuggled up to him and fell asleep too.

When Felix woke up again a few hours later, Hyunjin was still asleep. His deep, calm breaths made him smile and he carefully brushed a strand of hair out of his forehead.

He almost smiled in his sleep and Felix realized once again how incredibly cute Hyunjin was. Glad that the older one slept deep enough to have no nightmares, he moved as little as possible so as not to wake him up.

But finally he stretched himself yawning, gently pushed Hyunjin's arm off his hip and stood up. He was quite hungry, wanted to take a shower and really needed a coffee.

In addition, he was really looking forward to picking up the baby kittens from Minho later.

He had agreed with Hyunjin that they would first go to a pet shop to buy everything necessary and then pick up the kittens.

Minho had offered to come along and Felix was incredibly excited about it.

Hyunjin and Minho knew each other from university, but they hadn't really spent a lot of time together so far and Felix very much hoped that the two would get along well.

After taking a quick shower, he sat in the kitchen with only a towel around his hip and drank his coffee.

Although the whole thing should probably be called milkshake with coffee flavor.

Just as he was thinking about whether he should start making breakfast, he heard a sleepy "Babe?" from the bedroom.

Smiling, he ran into the bedroom.

Hyunjin sat sleepily in bed and rubbed his eyes. "Come cuddle."

"Actually, I just wanted to make breakfast," Felix said with a grin.

"Noooohoo, I want cuddles," Hyunjin whined and made grabby hands towards his best friend.

"Alright, baby. I just get dressed quickly," Felix giggled. And while Hyunjin cuddled up in bed again, Felix put on a wide, white shirt and boxer shorts.

Hyunjin had cuddled under the duvet and closed his eyes and waited for Felix to cuddle up to him.

He heard the steps of the younger one, who stopped next to the bed instead of cuddling up to him and opened his eyes in confusion.

"Hmm?"

"You look incredibly cute. Soft and fluffy and so incredibly pretty," Felix said smiling and noticed with satisfaction how Hyunjin blushed.

"Come here now," Hyunjin murmured embarrassed and pulled the younger one to him. "If you continue like this, I'll tell Minho that you're flirting with me all the time. Let's see how he likes it."

Giggling, Felix pressed his lips on those of the elder before he answered him.

"Babe, he knows that we sleep together in one bed and cuddle all the time. And yet he flirts with me all the time while we study. He knows that I love you and that you're my best friend," Felix noted with self-satisfaction and snuggled up to the elder.

"Can't be true..." Hyunjin sighed and shook his head sadly. "And I thought I finally had something against you in my hand."

Giggling, Felix boxed against his shoulder.

"Maybe we should get something for breakfast on the way to Minho, otherwise it will barely be possible to do all this before work," said Hyunjin and yawned.

"Mhm, yeah maybe."
