Tiana chuckled a bit. " So, do you guys know how to stop the wraith?"

They both looked towards Amerlyn. " I have a plan." She said before finishing her coffee.

As Amie, Barry and Tiana entered the cortex, all eyes were on them.

" Is that her?" Joe asked referring to Erin.

" It is." Barry responded going to the other side of the panel.

" Yup. Everyone meet Erin smith, as fairy tales describe her to be princess Tiana. " Iris gasped at the mention of Erin's real name.

" As in princess and the frog? " Cisco chuckled, his face showing a large amount of amusement.

" No, as the Little Mermaid. Of course, It's princess and the frog." Amie rolled her eyes. " Anyways, she's the one who's marked. "

" Hi." Erin waved shyly.

" Cool."

Iris snapped out of her trance. Don't blame her, Tiana was her favorite Disney princess. " H-how are we gonna stop the wraith?"

" Last time I had to deal with a wraith, we tried opening a portal to bring it to an other, quote unquote, non existent world. Didn't work as we fell in the portal. " She started walking around going deep into her thoughts. Everyone had their eyes on her. " It's weakness is fire. Could it kill it? Probably not. We can't really kill what is already dead."

She looked up, Lowkey having a lightbulb moment. " Unless..." She opened the same cabinet as the first which made Cisco go behind her to see. " Water from Archeon."

" Water from what?" He exclaimed which made her turn around.

" Arch- what?" Joe added.

" Archeon. The river of lost souls." Seeing everyone's extremely confused face she added. She rolled her eyes before going Disney." River Styx."

Oh's erupted in the room as everyone seemed to understand it now.

" My time in the underworld thought me this. This is extremely dangerous. Touch it, you're dead and will never ever come back. Even if you were already dead. Your soul just gets stuck in the river. That's what I'm hoping will happen with the wraith."

" You're not sure it will work, right?" Barry questioned her.

" No. I'm not sure."

" How can we trust you with this, then?"

" Do you have anything better? It's the best we've got right now."

" Alright."

"Ignoring that, how are we supposed to get to the wraith?" Caitlin approached the group.

" The wraith will get to us, actually. We have it's target." Amie pointed to the princess.

" So, you want to endanger her life to stop it? " Amerlyn was getting annoyed by his attitude. Always trying to find a flaw in her plans.

Iris was about to tell him off but Amie beat her to it.

" She's already endangered. I'm doing this to protect both her and your fucking city. " She breathed in feeling the heat on her head. " You'll have to trust me on this one."

" How? You're known for betraying people, killing. Anything bad. You are the empress of Darkness. A monster." With every word coming out of his mouth, She grew more and more angry. It showed Through her powers.

" I do." Tiana exclaimed not looking up. " I trust her. "

" Why? She's the reason you are in this situation."

" Barry." Joe warned him seeing Amerlyn's state. Flames, lighting and all that

" No! Naveen is the reason why I'm in this situation. Stop it."

" Why-" " Barry." " Why can't -" " Barry!" " Wh-" " Barry!" " What!"

Silence took over them all. " She's gone."

Amerlyn had left them. Feeling herself lose control of her powers.

Amerlyn?" Iris called out to her. They were in the basement, where the partical accelerator once was.

" You found me." Amie had her back turned to her.

" Well, you didn't go that far." She chuckled a bit, as she was now besides her. " I'm sorry for what Barry said. He-"

" No need. He was right. "

Iris' eyes widened. " No. No, he isn't-"

" He is. I mean, I am the villain, right? I'm the bad person in every one's story. Amiestiltskin, worse than the dark one. The empress of Darkness, a fucking devil spawn. 'Stop lying or Amiestiltskin will rip out your tongue.' I'm the monster parents tell their children about at night." Tho what she said was filled with emotions, her voice remained neutral until she turned to look at Iris. " Right?"

Iris' heart broke at the sound her voice. The look in her eyes. She wasn't just mad , she was sad. She didn't know the real Amerlyn but this was all she needed to know that she wasn't a bad person.

Iris brought her into a hug. Amie didn't know how to react at first but slowly hugged her back. A tear slipped out of her eye as Iris rubbed her back.

" You're not a monster. You're not what people said you were. I may not know Amerlyn but I'm ready to learn about her. About you. The real you. I'm so sorry." Amie just squeezed her tighter , eyes shut. A quiet sob leaving her.

Upstairs, the team watched their interactions. Most feeling bad for her. They didn't know this was what she went through. Caitlin hugged herself at the sight. Cisco sat down thinking about it all. Tiana looked down. Joe stared at it. It was sad.

Barry? He was outside the room where Iris and Amerlyn were. He regretted every word that came out of his mouth. He judged her for her title. He didn't know her but he still judged her. They warned him but he didn't listen. He felt awful. His hero complex blinded him.

He left before they could see or hear him.

" Thank you." Amie whispered before letting go of her. " C'mon. We have a wraith to catch. "

" I'll talk to Barry if you n-"

" No need. I'll put away any other feelings and concentrate on this. " Iris smiled at her.

" Let's go."

" Okay." Amerlyn exclaimed bringing everyone's attention to her. " The plan is simple but I'm going to need y'all help. Understood?" They all nodded. " Alright. "

" Amerlyn-" Barry started but was cut off by said girl.

" I'm going to need your help, flash. So, let's put aside any feelings and emotions. Let's focus on this and only this. Okay?" He nodded. " Partners?"

' go girl' Someone screamed in her mind.

He looked down at her hand and nodded. " Partners."

" Great. " She moved away from him. " Since, I'm new to the city, I need someone to find a place where we could fight without endangering everyone. "

Cisco raised his hand. " I know this abandoned route. "

" That'll do it." She closed her eyes listening to the suggestions in her mind. She does have every fucking god in her mind. " A protection spell. Duh!"

Once again, she opened her cabinet. It looked like she held something in her hand but there was Nothing.

" What the-" Cisco said.

" This is invisible chalk. It'll keep anyone from entering and leaving."

" Leaving what? " Caitlin asked.,

" Protection dome. "

After explaining the plan a bit more they were now ready to take it down.

" Okay."

Amerlyn turned to Barry. " Are you ready partner?"

" Indeed. " He put his mask on. Amie, Barry and Tiana open their comms and went to enact the plan.

Like said, they were in a abandoned route. There was nothing and no sound. Just them.

" Flash, you know what to do." She gave him the invisible chalk and he went to work. A few seconds later, he was back.

" It's done."

" Good. " She took Tiana's marked hand and lifted it up towards the sky. It shined brightly as it came in contact with Amie's magic.

" Is it coming?" Cisco asked over the comms.

A loud screech erupted and that answered his question. The wraith came in full force.

Amie got down to ground focusing her energy as is approached. " Go!"

Barry took tiana out of the circle and got right back in as him, Amerlyn and the wraith were now stuck in the protection dome. The two looked at each other and nodded.

The wraith screeched, charging towards the two. They both dodged it's blow.

She put her index finger and her thumb in her mouth, a loud whistle leaving her. Just like the first time. " Hey, I bet you remember me!"

It surely did as it changed it's direction to hers. She rubbed her hands together and there it was, Zeus' lightning rod. Amerlyn jumped and hit it multiple times as Barry carefully got the water ready. That's until the wraith started choking her from a far. In the air.

" Amerlyn!" Both Barry and Tiana screamed.

She looked at him and mouthed. 'Now.'

He nodded and ran around the dome to get to their height. When he was high enough, he swiftly threw a water bomb. The wraith let out a final screech before disappearing. Amerlyn's lifeless body fell to the ground.

" No!" Barry got close to her.

" Barry! What's going on?" Iris asked panic in her voice.

" I was too late."

Amerlyn woke up in a familiar place with familiar faces. Gods and goddesses started down at her as she woke up.

" Olympus? " She groaned as they nodded. " Again?"

" You should go back. " Zeus voiced out most their thoughts.

" Yeah. I know."

" Just lay back."

And so she did.

A gasp left the once dead Amie. "Holy shit! Oh, what the fuck."

" Amerlyn?" She looked up to see Barry holding her, tears on his face.

" Flash." She looked around to see the wraith gone. " We did it?"

" We did." He nodded with a slight smile.

" Thank the gods. Too much work." She got up with his help. " I should take this down." With one wave, the Dome was down. The sobbing Tiana ran to her and brought her into a hug.

" Amerlyn, you're okay!"

" Great, more physical touch. " She chuckled holding her tightly. " Yeah and you are too! Alive. "

" Thanks to you. Both of you. " She looked at her heroes.

" Glad we could help." Barry told her.

" Cool. Can we go back now?"

As they entered the cortex, Iris tackled Amie into a hug. " Ah!"

" Don't ever do that, again!" Amie was confused. Why do they care so much?

" Do what?"

" Die."

" Can't promise that." Iris let go of her and smiled.

" I know but be careful. "

" That, I'll try to."

Joe approached her and put his hand on her shoulder, in a fatherly way. A way she'd never experienced. " You scared us. Glad you're okay."

One at the time, they all shared a moment with her.

" Amerlyn?" She looked at Barry. Everyone saw the look and decided to leave them alone.

" Yeah?"

" I wanted to apologize. I was unnecessarily rude to you. I put my own emotions because of past betrayal in the way of our mission. I'm so sorry for what I said. You aren't a monster. I was wrong to judge you like that. You sacrificed yourself to save Tiana. You didn't have to but you did it either way. I don't know you but if you can forgive me and you'd let me , I would like to know the real you." Barry looked at her in the eyes. There was nothing at first but it was just to scare him. She then smirked.

" It's alright, Allen. I have a bad reputation. I wasn't expecting anyone to just accept me with it. " She chuckled. " I heard what happened and I'm sorry for that but I'm not your mentor. Loyalty is my thing. I don't break it unless you give me a reason to."

" I saw that. "

" I forgive you. I'm not a grudge holding person. That's my dad's thing."

" Thank you." He brought out his hand. " Friends? Maybe. If you want. Y-you don't have to-"

" Allen, it's okay. " She put her own hand into his. " Friends."

" Thanks. I'll do my best to help you back to your family." Realization passed through her eyes as she she remembered the deal.

" Thanks."

" They made up!" Iris exclaimed as team flash entered the cortex again. Amerlyn couldn't help but laugh. " C'mon. I'll give you some clothes, food and then I'll show you the city."

" Iris, give her sometime to rest. She literally just died." Joe grabbed his daughter by the shoulders with a laugh.

" Right. Oh! Where will you stay?"

" I don't know." Amie shrugged. " I'll figure that out."

" Actually, we have an extra room at ours. So..." Joe told her as Iris looked at her with an expecting look.

" I don't want to intrude-"

" You won't be. It's alright." Barry told her as Cisco held back form squealing.

" Are you guys sure?" The three nodded. " Okay then."

Iris clapped her hands once and brought her away. She looked back at the team who laughed at her expression.

Joe put his hand on Barry's shoulder. " You did great, son."

He smiled at him. " Yeah..."
