Stephen Strange was not a patient man. He wanted results and he wanted them immediately. So, when he struggles to learn the mystic arts like he has never struggled before he is understandably frustrated and angry. Until an odd woman teaches him a lesson in patience and self discovery.

Nadira Wolfe is a woman that knows there is no place for her in the wider world. She is not fully human and both of her species look at her in confusion. She has found a haven of understanding in Kamar-Taj with its sorcerers, but her magic is different than theirs. She spends her days researching different kinds of magic and helping the students. Until a broken man makes his way to Kamar-Taj and even though he can be annoying Nadira is drawn to teach him.

Nadira and Stephen are on separate journeys until their paths collide due to a series of events that no one predicted. Stephen is still learning and growing into who he is meant to be and Nadira is trying to accept who she already is.

"Because, no matter how good of a surgeon you were, you suck at being quiet. I think it's because you like to hear the sound of your own voice too much and that translated to every other noise you make. By the way, did you know that you snore?"

"I do not snore."

3-"Sometimes I find it incredibly easy to summon sympathy for you and your situation."

"I don't need your sympathy."

"I wasn't done, Stephen. I said sometimes. The rest of the time you open you egotistical mouth and spew out things that make me want to claw out your tongue, blind you with a spell, and string you up from your toenails where everyone can see."

"That is quite specific Nadira. You have put a lot of thought into attacking me. Would you like to hear my version?"

"Would you two stop flirting already!"

4-"What are you thinking about?"

"It's nothing. What do you need, Stephen?"

"It can wait for a moment. What is bothering you today?"

"Lots of things, but mainly I'm wondering if I will ever leave this place. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel trapped here, I just...I'm curious about how the rest of the world would view me now. I am very different than most people, even the Ancient One doesn't seem to understand me these days. That is a feat reserved, surprisingly, for you."

5-"Oh look, I'm bleeding. That's a lot of blood."

"Sit down and let me see! When did this happen? How much pain are you in?"

"I don't know. One minute I'm fine and then the next there's this burning pain in my shoulder blade. So, I look down and this stupid thing this poking out of my chest. It's not as bad as it could be, stop worrying."

"You have something sticking out of a three inch hole in your chest and your telling me to stop worrying."

"Yes, I have had much worse than this."

"When?!"

"It has been awhile, at least ten years since the last incident."

6-"Do you believe in magic?"

"Before all of this, I said magic was just science we didn't understand yet. Now, I'm not so sure."

"How about fairies?"

"Well, I read in a book once that fairies live in their own dimension. This dimension is called the Solas Dimension and it borders the Dark Dimension..."

"Shut up for a second. I know all about fairies, more than anyone else here."

"Then why did you ask?"

"I asked if you believed in them. I didn't ask what you knew about them."

"What's the difference."

"Just, answer the question Stephen. Please."

Additional Information

•Until the age of 12, Nadira Wolfe was raised by her mother, Liliya, in the Solas Dimension. Liliya is a fairy and Nadira is half-fairy and half-human.
-The Solas Dimension is of my own creation. It is basically a world that is separated from our own but looks similar in some ways and completely different in other ways. Similar things are shops, technology, and even some buildings. Different things are government (they are ruled by two queens- one for spring and summer and one for fall and winter), clothing (they wear items that may look similar to our clothing but their clothes are made from magical items/creatures), etc. (You don't have to show the Solas Dimension at all if you don't want to. It does need to be mentioned and talked about though. Also, you can change the information about it, just not its name.)
-Liliya decided that Nadira needed to experience the human world earlier than other fairies since she is half-human. Nadira was dropped off in a forest in the Netherlands with the clothes on her back, some fairy currency, and her father's name. She searched and searched for him but she never found him. Nadira was found a year later by the Ancient One and taken in. She was then taught human magic, which is a bit different from fairy magic. Nadira decided to stay after she finished her education and she began educating others and researching new forms of magic. (Her father's identity is up to you, just don't choose an Avenger.)
•Nadira has translucent maroon wings that she can will to become tattoos on her skin. She can fly with these wings. They also have flecks of gold in them. Her mother's wings are translucent emerald with flecks of silver in them.
•Nadira is can be a bit blunt at times, but usually she tries to be nice and comforting. Stephen sometimes brings out her vindictive side.
•Nadira and her mother are fall fairies. Their kind are know for mood swings, vindictive tendencies, beauty, love of colder weather, fierce loyalty, and the ability to heal better than other fairies. (The characteristics of summer, spring, and winter fairies are up to you.)
-Nadira doesn't have terrible mood swings but she does have vindictive tendencies. These tendencies are tempered by those that she considers family or friends.
•She is kind to Stephen but she doesn't take any of his shit. She calls him out on a lot of stuff, and he does the same for her.
•She is not bothered when Stephen uses the time stone. She sees the situation as a win and just moves on.
•Nadira finds it hilarious that Stephen and Tony don't get along at first. She believes it is because they are too similar. She even tells them this. Neither find it funny, however, Peter Parker finds it worthy of tears and a movie reference. 
-She gets called Tinker Bell at some point.
•She is involved in the fight against Thanos. She does not turn to dust after the snap. Show what happens to her after Stephen's disintegration. Have her bond with Tony over watching people they care about die. She still ends up with Stephen though, so find a way to save him and the others that dusted.
•Nadira has some odd sayings that are all nature related but mean something completely different. Here's my list, but you can add more.
-The butterfly is like a duckling. (Basically this means that even beautiful or perfect people can be childish and impressionable.)
-Fall is here and you are a deer. (This means that it's a good day and she's thankful for whoever this is directed at. She also uses this during any time of year.)
-Spring my ass, it's full on winter. (She's saying someone or something is a lie.)
-The leaves are changing and summer is in the air. (This is her way of saying that something fishy is going on.)
•She is a complicated person. She is human but she's also a fairy. She loves nature but she loves humans. She is magic but science fascinates her. So this creates a sort of disconnect in her mind. At a certain age fairies are asked to choose between their dimension and the human dimension. Nadira has chosen to stay in the human world. Up until they choose the journey between dimensions is effortless. After their choice the journey between dimensions becomes harder but it is still possible.
•Nadira is a spontaneous person. If something doesn't happen the way she wants it too, she just goes with the flow. She is patient and kind, but with a vindictive streak a wile wide if you hurt the people she cares about.
