Spoilers for season 11

It felt like he had been floating.
Like his mind had been stopped.
As if his life had kept pausing.
Before the trigger dropped.

How can he deal with the guilt.
The pain he had caused.
How the greenery had wilt,
And the people who fought against the odds.

But his brothers had saved him.
Brought him back to himself.
The power that changed his whim.
And helped him out the memories back on the shelf.

There was laughter and light.
Family and friends.
Kind smiled so bright.
Love he felt till the end.

Heart mended, mind healed.
At home at last to where he belongs.
Window closed and sealed.
His will to protect forever strong.

If anyone is confused this poem is about Zane in season 11 when he was the Ice Emperor. This is how I had imagined him feeling but I'm a sucker for a happy ending so it's all cheery at the end.
