"I know Aunusti, she my baby too girl." He said holding a sleeping Amour in his hands.

"Do you need help?" I said since he had his duffel bag and her suitcase in his other hand.

"I got it, be safe call me if you need me." He said and I pouted.

"No you be safe and call me if you need me. Aww I wish she wasn't sleep." I said kissing her forehead.

"Let me go before you start crying and try to change your mind. Bye girl." He said and I waved and went back into my car.

"Now what ima do, ion got no friends the hell." I said furrowing my eyebrows.

I drove back home and plopped on my bed.

"Oh new goshhhh. Let me call him." I said tapping Brandon's contact.

"What girl."

"Where y'all at?"

"On the plane. Bye." He said and hung up.

I rolled my eyes going to my insta and taking a quick picture of the ceiling and typing 'wtd?'

Twenty minutes later I seen Kyla had texted me and I looked at the message.

I went to the closet I keep the hair stuff in grabbed it taking it downstairs.

After that I went into the living room and watched tv until she got here.

"Hey Kyla, you staying again with us Kai?" I asked and he nodded.

"Ian got nun else to do so might as well."  He said and they came in taking their shoes off.

"Aight so Kyla bear when you wanna start your hair?" I said looking at her blown out hair.

Shit she got a lot.

"Ummm you wanna eat first?" She said holding up the wendys bag.

"Oh shit y'all got me some too, hell yeah." I said getting lowkey hella excited.

Food is the way to my heart. I don't give no fucks. I'm a big bitch.

"Yeah where's your kitchen?" She said and I turned.

"Over here come on." I said walking to the kitchen.

"I woulda got a drinks but I forgot not gone lie." Kai said and I laughed.

"No that's cool I got juice and soda and water in the fridge." I said and he nodded as we all grabbed our food.

"So I got blue hair."

"That's gone be cute on you. What style you want?" I asked taking a bite from the baconator fries.

"Some box braids wit hearts" she said and showed me a picture.

"Aight cool I gotcha." I said pulling my phone out dialing Brandon for a FaceTime call.

"Yes Aunusti." He answered with a bored expression.

"Where's my child." I said and he flipped the camera to her seeing she was still sleep.

"We're still on the plane, we should land in about a hour. When we get in the hotel and shit I'll call you."

"Okay, wake her up and feed her. You need me to send you some money to pay for the food?" I asked and he mugged the camera.

"Why would I need you to send me money for my baby? No Aunusti." He said and I mugged him.

"I was asking the hell. Bye call me when y'all land." I said and hung up.

"You have a daughter?"kyla asked me and I nodded with a smile.

"Yes, do you wanna see her?" I asked and she nodded.

"Me too." Kai said and I swiped to a picture that I had took.

"Her name is amour but we call her mora." I said with a smile swiping through the pictures on the album.

"She's so pretty." Kyla said and I smiled wider.

"Thank you."

"She looks like you." Kai said and I said thank you.

"Anyways enough about me, how is your life?"

"It's pretty simple, I'm a cheer leader in school I run track as well and I'm a sophomore." Kyla said and I nodded.

"That's wassup, I never did anything in high school. Just went did my work and left." I said finishing my food.

I stood up and pulled my shorts down before throwing my trash away and going to my sink to wash my hands.

"Aye ima be back, I gotta go do something real quick. Call me if you need me." Kai stood up kissing Kyla's forehead.

"Aight bubba stay safe. Love you." She said looking over at him.

"I love you too, I'll be back." He said walking out of the kitchen.

"We can start your hair and probably be done before he get back." I said knowing it wouldn't take me long.

"Okay come on." She jumped up grabbing the bag of hair and we walked to my basement.

Two nn a half hours later

"These are so cute." She said running her nails through the hair shaking it.

"For reallll period you look pretty." I gassed her up and stuck her tongue out moving her hair.

"Let's go live, you my new bestie now." She said and I laughed.

"Bet, my old ass ain't got friends anyways."

"We gone fix that. Wait til somebody grown throw a party. Don't tell my brother I be going to them though."

"Your secret safe with me." I said and she smiled clicking the go live button.

She had about 40 sum people join.

"This my friend, she did my hair and nails and ian gotta get off live." She said and I went up to go unlock the door for Kai.

"Thank you." He said when I opened it taking his shoes off.

My phone started ringing and I answered seeing it was Brandon FaceTiming me.

"Mama!" Mora squealed when I answered.

"Hey mora i miss you baby!" I said and she smiled.

"I miss you too, look at this view hunny!" She said and turned the phone so I could see the balcony.

She don't know how to flip the camera so she turns the phone.

"Ouu you living rich! Where you get money from?" I said playing along.

"Girl I be scamming." She said and I busted out laughing.

"What you know bout scamming? Aunusti stop teaching her shit." I heard Brandon say in the background.

"He need to mind his business." Mora whispered in the phone.

"For real always ruining the vibes." I said sitting on the couch.

"Um mama there's a boy that was just in your screen. Daddy! We gotta go back home!" Mora said with her eyes furrowed.

"Girl what?" He said coming into the screen.

He had a bonnet on and looked like he was washing his face.

"She finna get kidnapped." Mora said and he looked into the camera.

"I am not getting kidnapped. I have my friend over and her older brother is here too. Gone now so I can talk to my daughter." I said and he flipped the camera off walking away.

"Who yo friend, the heck." Mora mugged the screen.

"Girl, fix yo face. And look." I said turning so she could see Kyla too.

"Hey pretty." Kyla smiled in the camera.

"Oh girl you cute. Hello." She said waving.

"Can I use your restroom?" Kai said and I looked over at him.

"Of course it's down the hall second door on the right." I said and he nodded walking to it.

"Aight mora baby I love you ima let you go, okay?"

"For what." She said muggin the camera.

"Girl you look like yo ugly ass daddy chile ouu. But you need to enjoy Florida. I love you." I said taking a FaceTime photo.

"I love you too." She said and hung up.

"That bitch clean twin what the fuck." Kai said coming back from the bathroom.

"Whatchu mean?" I asked confused.

"Ian never seen no clean ass bathroom in nobody house but my momma and mines. I was expecting a pile of clothes, towels, shit even some toothpaste somewhere is shouldn't be. Yo bathroom actually clean what the fuck." He said genuinely shocked.

I just looked at him and chuckled.

"Who dirty house you be at? My bathroom regular." I said and he was just standing there awkwardly.

"I ca sit down?" He asked twisting his hair.

"Yes duh. Hm." I said moving over so he could have room.

"I'm sorry he act shy." Kyla said palming her face.

"Ion act shy I'm just at somebody house and wanna treat it with respect, there's a difference." He said and I nodded.

"Ian gone lie twin he ate you up with that one." I said and she smacked her lips.

"No he did not, he nibbled." She said and I smiled trying not to laugh.

"Anyways. You smoke?" Kai asked me and I shrugged.

"A little not really. You got weed?" I asked tilting my head and he nodded.

"In the car. Wanna come smoke with me?" He asked and I nodded.

"So forget me huh?" Kyla said.

"Come in the car you can get contact high, let's go." Kai jumped up rushing to the door.

"Oop." I said walking to the door with Kyla.

"Never did he say that. Ima go home smellin like weed mama gone kill me." Kyla said with her hand on her hip.

"Well then I guess we dropping you off first." He said and she pouted.

"Bubba for what?" She said.

"Cause it's time for little kids to go to sleep, ain't it a school night. Okay then come on." He said and I just shook my head.

"So am I staying here orrrr" I said.

"Get your jacket ma." He said and I nodded going to my room to put on sweats and a jacket.

"This ain't even fair." Kyla said mumbling.

"It's okay bookie at least you ain't gotta pay for your hair. And I'll cook and let you come over one day." I reassured her putting my crocs on.

"Okay." She said lowly. We walked out and I locked the door.

Kyla got in the back so I went over to the passenger side and went in.

His car was nice and it smelled really good, I put my seatbelt on and he drove off.

He played right my wrongs by Bryson tiller and I got on my phone taking pictures.

He started going fast a few minutes later making me just sit back. Cause baby who finna die.

"I think you scaring her bubba." Kyla said laughing.

"My bad twin." Kai laughed and I mugged him.

"I'm glad you guys found this funny." I rolled my eyes.

"Just chill ian gone crash." He said and I looked over at him.

Twelve minutes later

"Hm Kyla." Kai said handing her a hundred dollar bill.

"Thank you bubba, see y'all later."

"Aight love you tell mama I said hi. I'a be back tomorrow." He said and she nodded opening the door.

"See you later Aunusti." She said and I waved.

She closed the door and he watched and waited for her to get inside.

"You wanna go to a parking lot or back to your house?" He said looking over at me.

"We can go to my house, but stop at quick trip." I said and he nodded.

He pulled out and handed me his unlocked phone.

"Play a song you want." He said and I played what you heard by sonder.

"Nahh what the fuck are you talking about?" Kai laughed at me and I laughed too.

"As soon as your born your younger than everybody but then a second later your older than somebody. It makes sense but it's so weird." I said and he shook his head.

"Yu tweakin folk." He said and I smacked my lips.

"How am I tweaking I'm dead ass." I said getting up to go to the kitchen.

I pulled my shorts down and walked to the pantry to get two rice crispie (idk how they spell it) treats and Nutella.

I walked back to the living room and handed a rice crispy treat to Kai.

"Good looks, aye what the fuck?" He said then made a face as I dipped mine in the Nutella. I almost moaned at the tastes but kept my composure.

"This hella good try it." I said and he dipped his in it and took a bite.

"Oh shit what the hell." He said dipping it again.

I mugged him cause why he double dip.

"Kai."

"That don't sound right."

"What don't sound right?" I asked tilting my head.

"When you say my name it's like you not saying it right. Say it again." He said looking at me licking his lips.

"Kai." I asked genuinely confused.

"Say kairo." He said turning towards me.

"Kairo." I repeated.

"Okay call me kairo. Your voice makes it sound better." He nodded taking another dip of the Nutella.

"Stop dipping it more than that first time!" I said popping his hand.

"Girl do you want to fight." He said and I nodded.

"Yes, the hell." I said standing up.

"Who gone be the camera man?" He said and I pulled my phone out setting it up on the floor.

"Come on." I said squaring up.
