"Apparently your worst then the Doctor about having death follow you, so both me and Nico are coming with you." Will said.

"You like Doctor Who?" Astrid asked exited.

"Uh yah." He answered.

"Back on topic, we need a tent, sleeping bags, and other camping supplies. We get back on the road in fifteen minutes." Hunter said. His eyes seemed a little distant. Nico and Will walked away to gather supplies. Astrid went after Hunter.

"Hey, are you okay?" Astrid asked him holding his arms to stop him from walking away. He was at least a head taller than her. His dark eyes looked down to her bright green ones.

"It's just, the lady, we don't even know her name." He said quietly.

"Hunter, don't blame yourself. You know Bianca's reincarnation? Her mom is dead, I could have saved them both if I had taken her to Camp Half-Blood when I saw her first. But the monsters found them and killed her mom. She lived on the streets till I found her later." Astrid said.

"I fired the shot." He said.

"Because she would have killed me, then killing Andrea and Natasha." Astrid said and pulled him into a hug. His head rested on her shoulder. "We probably only have ten minutes...." Astrid said. "I have some gear in my closet." They walked up the stairs. Astrid pulled out the two sleeping bags, blankets, inflatable pillows and her tent.

"You only have one tent." Hunter pointed out.

"Exactly. You boys get the tent and I get a car with heated seats." Astrid smiled. Hunter smiled back at her. They grabbed everything and went downstairs. They stuffed everything into different hiking bags. They left and got into the car. Will took the wheel first.

"Conversation starter, weirdest times you've been in the hospital?" Hunter asked.

"Back in the nineteen fourties I went to a doctor after I fell really hard. The doctor wasn't worried about it so I wasn't." Nico said.

"What did he say?" Astrid asked.

"I had internal bleeding." Nico said. Will gave a muffled scream.

"Not any more right?" Hunter asked nervously.

"Nope. Only lasted a few days." Nico said.

"One time I was ambulances to the hospital because of severe pain. The pedestrian thought I was having a heart attack because of how low my voltage was. Then they did an echocardiogram and I was in perfect working order. They decided I may have abdominal migraines. I was in the hospital for a week before they told me they can't do anything more." Astrid explained. Will was going really pale.

"Hunter, why did you start this conversation?" He asked.

"Because I wanted to see your reaction." Hunter smiled.

"We aren't coming back to this." Will grumbled. They all laughed. They were getting out of town.

"We should stop for lunch. Then I'll take the wheel." Hunter said. They parked in front of a McDonalds and got out.

"How do we lock this thing?" Will asked.

"I have a bow and arrows and a sharp sword. Any idiot who tries to steal my car will meet them." Astrid said. They went inside and ordered. Nico got a Happy Meal. Astrid stood leaning against the wall. The smell of grease masked any other smell, but something wasn't right. Hunter came and leaned against the wall beside her and put an arm around her and pulled her into him.

"What's up?" He asked.

"The roof." Astrid said. Then Hunter tensed up. Astrid saw at the same time. An old lady was a fury. She was about to take out a demigod.

That demigod was Nico.
