The last three weeks were filled with nonstop adventures for Aidan and (y/n), him showing her all the best spots to visit. He took her to cafes in Pioneer Square, to observe Seattle in the Space Needle, trinket stores in Pike Place Markets, ice cream parlours around The Great Wheel, fancy restaurants in the city, historical passages of the Beneath the Streets Tour, getting merch at the Museum of Pop Culture, and visiting other museums and art galleries. He took her wherever her heart desired and enjoyed every moment of it with her until he had to go back to his work.

Aidan smiled at the photos he took of her secretly on her phone, adoring every expression of awe and wonder in her eyes when he took her around Seattle.

"Aidan, what are you smiling at?" he jumps at the question and looks up to remember that he was on a live with his patrons.

"Just a funny message my mum sent me." He quickly shuts his phone and sets it down, silencing it. "Do you guys want me to sing?" there was a chorus of yes and he gets up to grab his guitar, settling it down on his lap gently when he sat down on his seat again. He looks at the request for songs and starts singing a song, a smile kept on his face not realising that (y/n) was messaging him.

She furrows her brows when he doesn't reply back to her texts about whether or not they want to have their movie marathon but shrugs and decides to ask him in person. She walks up to his bedroom to hear nothing so she goes to his recording room and hears him singing, opening the door slowly but gasps lightly when she realised he was live. She shuts the door again quickly to stay hidden, not soft enough since the brunette and his patrons turn to the sound.

"Was that your mum?"

"I think so. Mum?" Aidan calls out, getting up as he puts on a song to play to drown out his conversation with her. He opens the door and finds (y/n) instead.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know you were live. They didn't see anything did they?" she whispers and he shakes his head, earning a sigh of relief.

"What's wrong?" he asks her and she shakes her head.

"It's not important. I was going to ask if you wanted to continue our marathon but I know you're busy."

"Yeah... I got some editing to do but you can hang out in my room after with me if you want."

"No that's ok-"

"-(y/n), some company isn't going to kill me." Aidan chuckles and she hesitates.

"I'll bring a book to read. I might have some emails to answer too."

"Fine by me. I'm ending soon so you can come over in half an hour."

"Ok." (y/n) nods and heads to her bedroom as her friend ducks back into his bedroom.

"Mum was just asking if I wanted to eat anything." he lies, smiling at his patrons who ask him to play his guitar again. "Ok but we have 20 minutes left." he chuckles, strumming his fingers against the strings as he sang for his lovely patrons. The time flies by and he begrudgingly says goodbye to everyone, ending the live and shutting off his devices except for the ones he needed to edit his latest video before heading to his bedroom. He hears his door open slightly and sees his friend peek her end in while giving him a thumbs up. "Yes I'm done." he chuckles and she grins, entering his room with a green book in her hands. "What's that?"

"Ah, this is a Loki book my friends got me for my birthday. I haven't read it yet. In fact, I haven't read a physical book since... year nine I think?" (y/n) answers showing Aidan her book.

"The cover is really cool."

"I know right! It's beautiful!" he chuckles at her enthusiasm for the Norse god, watching as she moves to settle on the couch to read but he didn't like how he couldn't see her from the back.

"You can relax on my bed. I don't mind."

"Are you sure?" he nods and she gets up to lay on his bed, her feet swinging up in the air behind her and he smiles warmly at how comfortable she looks while she read. He had to take his eyes off her, focusing on editing his video but the silence was killing him so he put on some music. Time went on comfortably as the two did their own thing but in each other's presence.

Aidan was splitting a clip when he hears humming and turns to see (y/n) humming to the song that was playing. He was surprised to hear her hum to his song Miss You considering that she was more of a fan of his character Five Hagreeves than him. She had confessed that she wasn't really caught up with him in regards to his life, his youtube, his music or the interviews, not even realising that he was from a Nickelodeon show since she grew up with the Disney Channel instead.

Aidan didn't mind, he found it refreshing that someone didn't know everything about him, that (y/n)'s genuine feelings for being his friend were purely for him as a person, as simply as a boy named Aidan and not the famous actor called Aidan Gallagher.

"You know this song?" he asks her and she looks up at him, humming in confusion until she listened to the song.

"Oh! I wanted to search up your songs and listen to them. This one is my favourite." the brunette's heart squeezed with joy, watching her mumble the chorus. He didn't care that she messed up some of the words, he was just happy to know that she liked one of his songs. So many people love his songs, sure, but having that praise from her felt different, felt... better.

With a light feeling in him, Aidan went back to working. Hours went by, and by the time he was done editing, getting up to stretch and take a coffee break with (y/n) but blinks in surprise to see that she had fallen asleep on his bed with her book by her head. He smiles softly and puts her bookmark in her book, carefully closing it before kneeling down in front of his bed. He tilts his head as he admires her, the way her cheeks squished against her arms and how her hair fell over the edge of the bed. He carefully takes her glasses off and places them on his desk, swooning at how she scrunched her nose and huffed softly while her legs slowly fall down back on the bed.

Aidan leans up to brush her hair back but sharply steps back, confusion and worry on his face as his heart raced when he caught himself.

What am I doing?

"Thank you for dropping me off. You didn't have to-"

"-(y/n), it's no problem at all. And I do have to make sure you get here safe right." Aidan smiles, he and his father walking into the airport while carrying her bags as she carried a few of hers.

"You have everything kid?" his father asks (y/n) and she nods, double-checking that she had what she needed to go through security safely. They all help her get her luggage taken onto the plane, waiting with her until her gate gets called.

"I guess this is me." she turns to the brunette who tries to hide his sadness, smiling faintly at her. "Thank you so much for showing me around and looking after me. It's the most fun I've had in my life ever! It was amazing to just explore somewhere new."

"It was my pleasure (y/n). I'm glad you said yes to come visit us." Aidan says and she smiles widely.

"Me too! It was out of my comfort zone but I'm glad I made the jump to travel to Seattle." (y/n) says, looking behind her to see people lining up for the gate. "I need to go I think." the brunette's smile falters, wanting to hug her but he didn't want to overstep his boundaries. "Thank you Aidan, thank you Mr. Gallagher."

"Hopefully... you can come back to visit again..." Aidan suggests, flushing lightly as he hopes (y/n) says yes.

"Yeah maybe... Hopefully, I do. I have to go. I'll see you around again Aidan." he watches sadly as she runs off, waving goodbye to him and he waves back. He wanted her to stay but he knew she couldn't. She had a different life from his own. And they were only friends. He didn't like the slight pain in his chest, staying at the airport until he could see her anymore, even after her plane had taken off and his father takes him away to head back home.

I miss you (y/n).

Aidan sighs and deletes the message.

Have a safe trip home.
Call me when you get
back.
