I glanced behind me to see the ocean on fire. He heat starting to burn the back of my head. I kept swimming to the shore, Marry holding onto my arm and Jax on my back.

"Keep...going....almost...there, guys." I said, out loud, as I gave my last efforts to make it.

I felt the ocean floor benieth me and I sighed in relief. I dragged Marry and Jax to the beach and collapsed on the sandy shore.

I huffed and breathed in relief.

'I did it.' I thought, before closing my eyes slightly.

Marry started to sit up after reaching the beach. She saw me and gasped.

"Lizabeth!" She yelled.

I slowly nodded my head. I felt drained and exhausted.

"Lizabeth, stay with me." She pleaded.

"Its ok. Marry. I'm ok." I said, grabbing her hand and squeezing it.

"What about Jax?" She asked.

I pointed over to the tall boy and Marry gasped again. The back of his black jacket was red.

"Jax!" She yelled, stumbling over to him.

I tried to sit up but my body wouldn't move.

"Marry?" I asked, trying to find her.

"Its ok, I'm here. Jax, though." She trailed off.

I smiled sadly and patted her arm. She started to cry.

"He died to protect us." I told her, still laying down.

She cried into my shirt, which was soaked already.

Suddenly, Jax sat up.

"Jax!" Marry shouted.

"Jax, are you ok?" I asked, still not able to move.

"Yea, are you?" He replied, looking at my condition.

"I can't really move. I'm too tired. Your heavy." I said, really tired.

"How are you still alive, there's blood on your back?!" Marry shouted, shocked.

Jax looked behind him and shrugged. He looked out into the water and pointed.

I struggled to lift my head, but I eventually did. I wish I didn't.

There was a dismembered pilot floating in the ocean, his blood floating in the ocean.

"Oh." I said, really tired.

I started to close my eyes and Marry shook me awake.

"Don't die on me, please." She said, tears brimming her eyes.

"I'm not going to die, I'm going to sleep. I feel like sleeping for a while." I said, my eyes closed.

I felt Marry's hand leave my shoulders and my head placed in her lap.

"Sleep well then, you deserve it." She said, before I fully lost consciousness.
