(Y/N) flew over the ocean with her friends and Gladion. Midnight and Aireona would meet them later, after they searched for Necrozma. Everything seemed normal until Aether Paradise came into view. Even from this distance away, something seemed very wrong. Other than the Ultra Wormhole right above it, Lusmaine's home, located right behind the main building, was completely black, with some hints of Rainbow. (Y/N) heard some distant shouting before attacks began to rush the friends Charizards. "(Y/N) look out!" Gladion shouted. (Y/N) turned to the battle only for her Charizard to be hit and for her to fall off. Gladion managed to grab her before she fell too far. He pulled her up onto his Charizard and put his right arm around her so she was less likely to fall off. "We have to go somewhere else, I can't keep (Y/N) from falling off for long!" Gladion shouted. Hau tried to yell but no one could hear him through the barrage of attacks, so instead he pointed. Lillie, Gladion and (Y/N) looked to where he was pointing to see a series of small islands in the distance. "Poke Pelago!" (Y/N) shouted. Instantly the Charizards did their best to make to to Poke Pelago safely. Once they landed on the green grass of one of the islands Gladion let go of (Y/N) She slid to the ground and landed softly. The others got off their ride Pokémon and the Charizards flew off.

"Ok....well.....this is going to be difficult..." (Y/N) said. "No kidding." Hau brought up. "Heya kids!" A new voice shined in. Lillie and Gladion turned to this new voice. Once they saw who it was from the they had expressions that could only be described as longing and happiness. He new voice belonged to the islands overseer, Mohn. He smiled and waved at the friends before he saw Gladion. "Oh, your awake?"  Mohn asked. "Awake?" Gladion questioned. "Yeah. You where unconscious in the ocean and some water type Pokémon brought you here before you could drown." Mohn said. Gladion just gave a questioning look. "That never happened....." Gladion finally said. Mohn scratched the back of his head in confusion. "Then who is unconscious?" He asked. "Maybe we can identify him." Hau said. Mohn took them to a shack and let them in. Resting peacefully on a hammock was a boy that looked exactly like Gladion. "....are you two twins?" Mohn asked. "I don't know who that is....." Gladion mumbled. "Wait....didn't Midnight say something about you not being the Gladion she knew?" Lillie asked. Gladion however wasn't listening. He was remembering the night he had chased Guzma, he was so tired he thought he was just seeing things. Looks like his mind wasn't tricking him. The Gladion on the hammock opened his eyes suddenly and freaked out to the extent where he fell of the hammock. He looked around for a moment before getting up. "Oh....." was all he said when he saw the other version of himself.
