I quickly ran into my room to change, and found my dress laying on a chair beside my bed with a letter laying in the seat of the chair.

I picked it up and it read,

Ellie, I washed your dress for you love, I hope you dont mind.
Ringo

I smiled to myself laying the note on my nightstand. Quickly I changed and met Ringo by the door.

"Ah, there you are. Ready to go love." I nodded my head and linked my arm with his. A smile spread across his face and he blushed lightly as I hooked our arms together.

I giggled and gave him a smirk. "We wouldn't want me getting lost now would we?" He laughed shaking his head. "No, I guess we don't."

We smiled and finally left to go shopping.

"So does everyone in Liverpool walk to places or do they have cars?" Ringo laughed. "No, no we have cars its just I prefer to walk."

"Why is that? isn't it quicker just to drive?" He breathed to talk but I interrupted him before he had the chance to say anything.

"Oh no, wait let me guess." Ringo looked ahead and a grin spread across his face.
"You walk everywhere because you get more exercise." Ringo giggled and shook his head as he watched his feet.

"Actually no. I walk to admire everything that normally people never take the time to stop and look at."

Oh my gosh he's perfection.

No Ellie last time you fell hard for a guy, it didn't end well...... Remember?

I looked around and let my eyes travel where ever they pleased. "What kinds of things?" He took a deep breath and looked up at the clear blue sunny skies.

"Like the sky. Whenever do you step outside and look up to just admire the sky's beauty? Watch how the clouds float across the it with such gentle ease, as the wind blows them swiftly overhead."

I tilted my head back as a big fluffy cotton ball like cloud floated over me and Ringo. I laughed as it passed over and glanced over at Ringo.

He still had his head tilted up with a wide grin as his crystal blue eyes, examined the heavens.

"See.... Beautiful." He lowered his head and smiled as we walked on down the street.

There was a good moment of silence before Ringo asked me a question breaking it.... Thank God.

"Hey, I have a question." I shrugged my shoulders casually. "Shoot."

Ringo gave out a nervous laugh, then slowly lifted his finger pointing to his nose. "My nose?"

"What about it?" I giggled out. "Well don't you think its kind of.... " he shook his hand sideways in the air. "Big?"

I lost the smile on my face, and looked at Ringo wonderingly. "Well... "

He pointed a finger at me. "Dont lie!" We laughed and he tried to keep a serious face.

"Yes, but it doesn't bother me." I shook my head at him and he laughed a little.

"I was just asking because that's usually the first thing girls notice and point out about me."

I smiled sympathetically, and studied his facial features. His skin was tan and looked soft and quite smooth. His nose wasnt anything to be ashamed of. I know lots of people with big noses. But his.... It was actually adorable considering its size.

"Ringo dont be ashamed of anything about you. You're unique and special. And in my opinion that's a lot better than being a normal loser." Like me.....

He gave me a weak smile and looked up and pointed to the paint store. "Here we are!"

We walked inside and I stood near the entrance for a moment letting the smell of fresh paint fill my nose.

Ringo giggled as I took in a deep breath in through my nostrils and out my mouth. "Come on love." Ringo giggled out grabbing my arm and dragging me playfully to the "big wall of colors".

Or so I used to say when I was a little girl. "So what were we thinking Mrs. Ellie? An electric pink perhaps?"

Ringo pulled out a small tab with a blinding pink that made my eyes hurt. "No, no please put it back!" Ringo laughed putting the tab back in its slot.

"No I was thinking more of a..... Ringo blue." He turned his head looking at me curiously. I looked forward trying to hold back a smile, as I acted to look through the colors.

"I'm intreuged. What does this color look like?" I turned slowly as I gazed into his eyes.

"Your eyes." He studied my face carefully as he tried to determine where I was going with this.

"Why do you want the color of my eyes on your bedroom wall?" He never changed his expression and his eyes softened.

"They're..... Beautiful. Such a color shouldn't exist." I gulped down warm saliva as it rose up under my tounge, still keeping our gaze locked tight.

"Why is that?" He furrowed his eyebrows, still studying me closely.

"They're.... attracting." I felt a pang in my heart for it scared me to say the word out loud.

He looked me up and down and I could see his adams apple move up his throat and then back down. He stared into my eyes and it felt so right. But I really knew a was falling too hard, too fast. Just like I did with Jay.

"Do you not like to be attracted?" I knew I had to stop leading him on. I let my gaze fall and turned back to the colors. "I used to, but not anymore."

Ringo pulled out a turquoise blue and stared at the tab. "Well why not anymore?" I gave out a sigh and reached out for the tab.

He handed it to me and ran his hands through hs hair. "I'm scared." His eyes suddenly froze as he stared at me with a worried look.

"Ellie, love is nothing to be scared of......... When you find the right person." I lifted my head looking into his eyes. He smiled lightly, his sad eyes and puckery lips starting to become less and less gloomy.

I tried to give him a convincing smile, and picked out another bright blue tab. Not quite Ringos eye color, but close enough.

"Well, when your boyfriend cheats on you with your best friend...... Its pretty hard to believe in such things."

Ringo laid a hand on my shoulder grazing his thumb across my skin. "I'm sorry that happened. Its got to be hard."

I felt tears in my eyes and a huge lump in my throat. "It is." I croaked out.

"Well, I'm no love expert. But I have gone through things. And I've learned sometimes its best just to let go." I nodded my head slowly, as I looked up to see his gorgeous eyes looking down at me worriedly.

"Thank you Ringo." I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head on his chest.

He stood there for a moment in shock, but then slowly tightened the hug, as he wrapped his arms around me.

"You're welcome love. If you ever need somebody to talk to..... Know that I'm here for you."

A let a tear fall and let out a sigh of relief. When we parted, I laughed lightly and wiped away my tears.

"I'm sorry." Ringo laughed half heartedly. "Dont apologize for crying Ellie."

My spirit lifted and I gave him a smile. "Oh, I found the color I want!" I plucked the tab from its slot and handed it to him.

"Ringo blue?" I laughed and and parted my fingers making a v, and then pointed at his eyes.

"Ringo blue." He laughed as we walked to the register asking for 5 gallons of "Ringo blue."

We paid for the paint and they let us borrow a wagon to carry all the paint in.

"Y'know that we are going to get all kinds of looks on the way home." Ringo giggled out as he pulled the wagon behind him.

"Eh, people just dont get us unique and special folks."

He laughed shaking his head, as he dragged the wagon along.

As we walked down the sidewalk we came to a little clothing shop.

"Y'know since we are already in town.... Would you like to make today a fun day out? We can shop for you some clothes, eat lunch, then maybe go to the park for a nice walk? Come on, it will be fun."

I laughed and nodded my head. "Wait, what are we gonna do with the paint? Drag it around with us where ever we go?"

Ringos eyes widened and he looked back at the wagon. "Oh, yeah I forgot about that."

I giggled. "Well, we can drop it off at the house and then come back? Twice the walk, twice the wonderful view!"

Ringo twisted up his lips and nodded his head from side to side thinking.

"I suppose your right, well let's not waste precious daylight shall we?"

I smiled and nodded excitedly, as I followed right by his side.
