Meeting Some Guys Named John, Paul, And George 💙
I woke up the next morning with the sun shining right through the window into my eyes.
I groaned as I rubbed my eyes and looked up at the clock, hanging above the bedroom door.
I squinted my eyes straining to see the time. Ten'o'clock. I decided I best get up. Ringo was probably in there waiting for me.
I groggily got out of bed, and walked over to the mirror. My hair was sticking up in every direction, and my mascara was smeared across the bottom of my eyes.
I guess I forgot to take off my makeup..... Oops.
Okay well, there has got to be a brush around here somewhere. I mean that kid has got a ton of it!
My eyes scanned the room, as I searched for a brush. I ran over to the chest of drawers, and pulled out the top one.
Nothing....
I pulled out the next one and, didn't find a brush, but what I did find was much more interesting.
Romeo and Juliet. Oh my gosh.... He really does like to read. Awwww. I smiled to myself, and grazed my fingertips over the cover.
Okay Ellie, snap out of it! Yes, it is adorable. But he's not gonna think you're very adorable unless you find a brush.
I put the book back and, prayed that there would be a brush in the next drawer. I closed my eyes as I pulled open the drawer. Please be a brush, please be a brush...... Or another book.
No, no not another book. A brush..... Although that would be adorable. I opened the drawer to find neither one of those things.
Crap!.... Crappidy, crap, crap! I slammed the drawer shut, and began to tap my fingers on top of the dresser as I scanned the room.
Suddenly my eyes landed on the night stand by the bed. Oh I swear to god if there isn't a brush in this drawer!
I ran over to the night stand and opened the drawer. A brush! Thank you lord Jesus!!
I walked over to the mirror as I brushed my hair thoroughly. After that I realized I had another problem.
How am I going to get this mascara off? I stared at myself, as I racked my brain for a quick solution.
I needed to get it off quick before Ringo came in here to wake me up, still thinking I'm asleep.
Oh come on Ellie think, think! I finally gave up, and licked my fingertips and began to scrub under and on top of my eyes violently.
I took a quick look in the mirror, and exaimned myself. Eh, it will have to do. I shrugged it off and headed out the door, to greet Ringo good morning.
*************************
I walked into the living room, to find Ringo sitting on the couch with a cup of tea, and reading the newspaper.
He looked up from his, newspaper and gave me a greeting good morning grin. "Good morning Ellie, sleep well?"
I nodded and came and sat beside him. "Yes, I slept very well." He smiled and laid the newspaper down, and his tea, as he walked into the kitchen pouring some more tea, which I guessed was for me.
"Good I'm glad. I was a bit worried about you last night." I smiled to myself, and blushed lightly. "Why were you worried?"
Ringo brought the cup over, handing it to me, then sitting back down beside me. "Well y'know, you just moved here. And I was afraid you wouldn't be comfortable, in a new place and all that."
I traced my finger around the top of the cup, while looking down at my tea. "No, I've learned to get used to things pretty quickly. Its a good thing to have a habit of. Especially with luck such as mine."
Ringo set his cup down, and furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean? Did I have anything to do with this bad luck?"
"Oh, no you didn't have anything to do with it. You're the best thing that's happened in my life since I left America." I said the last part my voice trailing off.
Ringo smiled, and I could see a blush crawl onto his cheeks. Suddenly the front door burst open and three boys came casually strolling into the house.
"Good morning! Good morning!" The first one sang out spreading his arms out. Ringo looked back and rolled his eyes.
"John When are you going to learn to knock?" The one called John squinted over at Ringo giving him a dirty look. "Cheeky! A bit grumpy this morning arent you."
Suddenly John's eyes caught sight of me. He gained a grin on his face as he looked back over to Ringo. "Well, I guess I would ask everyone to knock too if I was having this kind of company!"
The lad beside him, pointed to me with a confused look on his face. "Yeah, Ringo who's the bird?" Ringo gave me a weak smile as he stood to introduce me.
"This is Ellie, she just moved here from America. She didn't have a place to stay so I offered her to stay in the extra bedroom till she can find her own place."
I stood up beside Ringo looking at him, and then nodding to the other three boys. "Oh, so I see." John laughed, and gave Ringo a wink as he walked to the kitchen.
"Oh, lay off John! I'm just trying to be a gentleman to the young lady!" Ringo gave out a sigh, and plopped himself back down on the couch.
The second young lad who spoke, came up to me and offered me his hand to shake. "Hi, I'm Paul, you'll have to excuse John he has a habit of teasing poor Ringo here."
I giggled down at Ringo. "So I can see." He gave me a smirk, then hiding himself behind the newspaper I looked back up at Paul shrugging my shoulders.
Paul motioned me to come closer. I leaned my head in as he whispered in my ear. "He'll get over it." I glanced down at Ringo still hiding behind the newspaper, then turned back to Paul.
"Mmm.... Are you sure?" Paul gave me a sly grin. "You care for him dont you?" I felt the blush crawl up on my cheeks. "No! I-I mean yes, but not like-"
Paul looked down at Ringo then back at me laughing, as he walked into the kitchen joining John. I sighed relieved he had left. I was starting to stutter, and when I start stuttering, I say things I don't mean to.
"George why don't you introduce yourself!" I heard John yell from the kitchen. I looked at the young lad in which they called George. He smiled lightly, and then stuck his hand out for me to shake.
"Hi Ellie, I'm George." I shook his hand and gave him a smile. "Y'know John and Paul don't mean any harm they just think that everything revolves around them."
I laughed looking over at the two lads. They each gave George a dirty look. He just waved them off and laughed along.
"Well, its nice to meet you Ellie, but Ringo seems to be getting a bit fidgety." Ringo folded the newspaper putting it in his lap.
"I am not. I'm just getting a bit annoyed at the fact that I thought I was trying to do a good thing by giving Ellie here a place to stay, but then of course someone has to come out and make it a joke. Which I think is not even highly close to funny."
John rolled his eyes. "Alright, okay so I was poking a little fun." Ringo gave him a smirk. "Okay fine we'll leave! Come 'ed lads lets get out of this pity party."
"Bye Ellie! You'll have to come visit sometime!" John yelled back and waved as he walked out the door.
"Goodbye Ellie,bye Ringo!"
Ringo simply waved back at George as he left. "Goodbye George have a nice day." George smiled and waved back. "You too, well see ya later."
George walked out the door, and I turned to Ringo. "He's a sweet guy." Ringo smiled weakly and nodded. Paul shuffled over to me spreading his arms out.
"Come on, bring it in." I giggled as Paul wrapped me in a hug. Ringo tensed up as Paul wrapped his arms around me. "It was nice to meet you Ellie."
I smiled up at Paul. "It was nice to meet you too." Paul looked over at Ringo and suddenly began walking towards the door. "Well see you two later! Goodbye Ringo."
Ringo hummed a little noise and waved to Paul lazily. Paul rolled his eyes and waved back at me. "Goodbye!" "Goodbye Paul see you later."
When he shut the door I turned to Ringo. "Well, that was..... an interesting experience." Ringo laughed and his smile made my heart melt.
"Well, besides what just happened. Let's get on with day shall we?" I sat next to him and nodded. "What do you want to do?"
I glanced up at the ceiling trying to think. "How about this. I promised you we could decorate your room how ever you wanted. Why don't we go shopping?"
I gave Ringo a smile. "Oh, Ringo you dont have to do this." He shook his head. "I want to make you feel at home." I looked into his beautiful crystal blue eyes.
"Thank you Ringo." He smiled and stood up. "No problem love." He looked down at my hand and took it, holding mine gently in his. "Come on love, let's get going."
