24 - At Dawn
This chapter features mature and potentially disturbing scenes.
"No!" Laika cried, "I won't!" She stood right up, growling in protest, hackles raised.
Afore shook his head, "I don't see a way out of this!" He glared at The Baron, who smirked back at him from the front of the surrounding crowd. The sky was a purple-pink now.
Laika shook her head in disbelief, "I thought it was over. As soon as he cut that rope, the feeling of relief, the feeling of freedom. I thought it was over, Afore!" Tears dared to well at her eyes.
"I did too," he admitted, although he wasn't sure that she was as upset with the idea of it all being over as he was.
She sighed, frustrated, "Let's just get this over with."
"Okay," Afore breathed. He found himself uncharacteristically excited. The Baron turned and approached them, his body elegant and lanky, his build slender, cold and collected; every paw step was like a panther, and a dangerous gleam was in his eye.
"Of course," The Baron murmured, "This conception will not be happening without me." Laika snarled at him, bristling, her own slender build pacing towards him as far as her leash would allow. Her fangs gleamed.
"You're evil," she spat. "And you deserve nothing less than death!"
"Do I?" He chuckled. Afore could only watch with a drumming, head-pounding anxiety. He was frightened not of what The Baron would do, but rather of what he would say to Laika. No, he couldn't let him say anything, not a thing about their agreement.
Afore dared a stiff, dangerous step forward towards The Baron. A newfound, heavy silence lingered in the air as he breathed steadily. He could see the whites of The Baron's dark eyes, and knew that this thick stench was of fear. It rolled off of the male in waves. It pleased Afore.
"Wolf," The Baron said, daring to keep his voice and body steady. His bravery was strong, if misguided, and his head held high. He leaned closer to Afore, and whispered, "You don't mean to tell me that you don't want to fuck this Saluki?"
Afore took a small step back, staring at the ground, his face hot. He said nothing, unsure of how he felt with the situation and his newly given power. But his silence was enough, and satisfied, The Baron smiled.
"We will begin this now," The Baron said, loudly. He signalled again to his terrier workers, at which they responded with swiftness and began to restrain Afore and Laika. Afore struggled lightly, but let it happen.
Laika cried out, "Let me go!" But it was no use. They strapped her muzzle and body with wrap, then adjusted her with their teeth and to her dismay into the breeding stand that Afore had used the night before. One leg, then the others, and she was hooked in place in the contraption. She wriggled this way and that, but her lightweight build could barely rock the stand she was attached to. Panic set in, and she could hear nothing but her frantic heartbeat. This is exactly what she had hoped to avoid.
She growled, thinking, why would Afore lead me to a place like this? Why isn't he doing anything to save me now?
Afore's large length had already revealed itself, the breeze cold against it, as he stepped behind her, led by a rope and a dozen large dogs surrounding him in defensive positions. The Baron followed behind him. Afore's leash was pulled and tugged on, and he reluctantly mounted Laika, although his body was trembling with anticipation. He wrapped his front legs around her chest, and inhaled her familiar scent, his wet nose touching the sleek hair along the back of her neck. He worried for her.
"Afore," she grumbled, angrily, "This is not how I ever wanted this to be."
"I know," he murmured. He was glad; she was unafraid. She was prepared, and ready, too. She was angry, violently angry.
"I don't want pups," she growled.
"Chances are you will not get pregnant from just one time," Afore reasoned.
"I hope I am infertile," she said again, with spite and hatred and spittle. "And I hope that damned Baron is, too."
"Me too, Laika. I'm sorry. I wish I could prevent this."
"It's not your fault," she said, but a little thought at the back of her mind screamed, I've seen you kill. You could prevent this if you really wanted to. She shook her head, pushing that thought away and reminding herself that Afore was her friend. He had already been beaten so hard, and had been through so much; it was likely to Laika that his spirit was broken more than his body. But her instincts still gave her necessary doubt.
As Afore mounted Laika's back and rear, The Baron leapt behind and on top of Afore's, mounting him as well, and putting Afore right in the middle. The Baron was not playing. He was not pleased. He was angry, and determined to tame this wolf into submission. With no warning nor preparation, The Baron thrusted into Afore, who let out a shriek of pain, and in turn Afore's hips were thrusted forward, and into Laika, who cried out.
The Baron was the sole movement of the threesome; with fury, relentlessly, and no compassion, he pounded with smack, smack, smack, until Afore was quickly sore, and Laika as well. In and out, in and out, he forced himself upon the two in violent thrusts. Afore and Laika both took it well.
It wasn't long before their sensations erupted from the fast-paced, angry rhythmic pounding. Afore first, feeling his body build and then explode with power as he pumped Laika full, dripping. His knot forced itself inside of her, spreading her wide open, and became stuck within her. Soon after Laika's body fizzled with the sensation, and liquid spilled from her.
The Baron had not yet had his fill, and with the other two exhausted and overstimulated, he continued to pound despite their pleas. This wolf would submit to him. Afore gritted his teeth in agony, gripping to Laika's body for dear life as his cock was held tightly within her warm self and The Baron pounded into him from behind with swift, harsh movement.
Afore came a second time, overflowing into Laika, and white, thick liquid pooled beneath her, running down the feathering fur of her hind legs. With a final, aggressive thrust, The Baron pushed himself deep within Afore and pumped him completely full, knotting him. There was no mercy.
This time, the three sat, waiting impatiently as their knots slipped out and their erections dissipated. The crowd was a roar of greed and excitement. Afore's puppies could make Castimun Tribe the most powerful in Anertha, and every canine there knew it.
The Baron pulled away from Afore, triumphant and pleased, that same fanged smirk on his long, dark face. He walked with a head held high and strong, perfect legs, every paw placement done so with precision and force. He was glowing with pride and dominance. Afore glared at him fiercely from beneath a lowered head, and Laika sneered in The Baron's direction as the terriers removed her from the breeding stand. She hit the ground with near as much confidence as The Baron had, not allowing them to break her spirit any more than they already had. She'd been sad, upset, but she would also be defiant and proud. Laika knew with an unmatched certainty that she would escape this, somehow, someday. She would not bow to The Baron, not now and not ever.
The Baron resented her refusal and her confidence, and found himself preferring the wolf, who laid in the dirt with his head down submissively. But he did not bother himself too much with it; he had tamed the wolf, and that was a mighty feat. Facing the crowd, he raised his head, and the crowd cheered, feeding his pride and ego. He was Castimun.
The black dog's outline was silhouetted with pink and orange light as the sun rose up behind him.
