Chapter 1
This is my first actual time writing a fanfic, and I'm trying to make it as good as possible. However I'm not a grammar expert, so please forgive me if some of it is incorrect. I hope that this will be an enjoyable story.

"Oh George it's huge!"
"I know- No! Don't slap it with that!"
"Well then hurry up and do something!"
"I will just let me find something to cover it with."
"Move quicker, it's moving closer to me!"
"I swear Jackie sometimes yer so childish, it's just a spider."
George replied as he gripped the small glass and approached the spider, that was currently loitering in the corner of his room. I watched in awe as he gently placed the glass over the top of the spider, and then reached for the small piece of paper next to him on the floor, and carefully slid it underneath the the glass.
"There we are little guy, come 'ere Jackie and look at 'im."
George beckoned, as I remained seated on his bed unwilling to move.
"Are you crazy? You know I'm scared of spiders Georgie!"
I exclaimed diving under the blanket on his bed and hiding.
"C'mon Jackie, I won't let it hurt you. I'll kill it before it gets a chance too."
"George you wouldn't even let me kill it, how can I trust that you will?" I peaked out from under the blanket to see him smirk.
"Because I'm yer best friend and you can trust me. When 'ave I ever lied to you?"
"You lied to me when you said Neil in the third grade didn't like me back and he did."
"Neil schmeal, I only did that because yer too good for him, besides that was back in year three, we're seventeen now."
I rolled my eyes, as I pulled the blanket off myself, "fine bring it here..." I whispered. George carefully came toward me with the glass.
"See 'im? He's cool looking..."
My eyes fluttered from the spider in the glass up to George and studied his sharp jawline, and soft brown eyes.
"Jackie! Yer not looking at the spider..."
He snapped smirking down at me, as his gaze met mine.
"Sorry Georgie..." I muttered gazing back down at the glass.
"You'll have to be punished now." He stated walking over to his window with the spider, releasing it into the outdoors. And coming to sit next to me on the bed.
"George please don't tickle me, you know I hate it." He blushed, "alright I won't tickle you but I will..."
He paused, placing his hand on his chin to mock somebody who was deep in thought.
"Give you a NOOGIE!" He shouted pouncing on me and vigorously rubbing his fist on the top of my head causing me to squeal.
"Georgie, stop your messing my hair up!" I shrieked.
"God forbid someone sees Jaqueline Matthews, the dark haired beauty of Liverpool Institute with messy hair!" He teased as I playfully shoved him off me. I laughed,
"You're just jealous because your hair looks like a fucking turban!"
"Ouch, Jack that one really hurt right 'ere..." he joked, mocking heartache by placing his hand over his heart. I giggled shuffling over to his mirror to get my hair back into place.
"Don't call me Jack..." I muttered, he knew how much I hated to be called Jack and only did it when he wanted to get a rise out of me because he thought my reaction was, "so cute".
George shuffled up right behind me and tapped my shoulder causing me to turn and look at him. "Jackie..." he mumbled, his hot breath falling onto my cheeks.
"Yes, Georgie?" I whispered looking into his beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
"Could you kiss it and make it better?"
"What are you going on about?"
"Me heart, kiss it and make it better."
He smirked as I blushed and giggled, slightly stooping to give his chest a small peck. "There you big blubbering boob!"
"Thank you..." he whispered pulling me into a hug, and resting his chin on the top of my head.
"George?"
"Mhmm?"
"Please come back to school with me..."
"Jackie!" He nearly yelled releasing me from his embrace, causing me to look up at him in shock.
"Wha-"
"You know I can't do that, I'm in a band, and on top of that I've got that job with Mr. Peet cleaning light bulbs!"
I sighed thinking of Mr. Peet, the maintenance man for Blackers, Liverpool's largest department store, where George would go for hours on end and dust the light fixtures and the light bulbs with a toothbrush. And then this band, I'd never even met anyone in this band. Sure I'd heard about them, John and Paul and the lot of them but I'd never seen them.
"But, George, it's so boring there and I have nobody to talk to."
"Oh c'mon! Yer the most beautiful girl at the school all the boys practically drool over you and you're telling me nobody talks to you, and yer three weeks away from graduation." He smiled looking me up and down before moving a piece of hair behind my ear.
"But I don't want to talk to those boys! I want to talk to you... and I am not the most beautiful." I mumbled.
"Are too! And not just in school, but in this town. Also, I'll tell you what, skip school tomorrow and I'll pick you up and we'll go to the cinema before my shift at work. Then you can come with me to work, and after that I'll take to me band practice."
"Where are you going to pick me up? Plus what if my parents find out?"
"Jackie, please it'll be fun, it'll be the one time you skip, I'll call the school in the morning and tell 'em I'm yer dad and yer not feeling well and you won't be in."
I grinned, "ok, but do I just get ready for school like I usually do?"
"Yeah, get lunch money from yer mum and stuff and walk towards the school and I'll meet you a half a block from yer house."
"Alright Georgie, should I bring more money for the show? Like for popcorn and stuff?" He grinned lightly licking his lips,
"Of course not! I'll pay for yer ticket and everything, just take yer mum's money that she gives you for lunch so it doesn't look suspicious." He patted my shoulder before giving it a small squeeze.
"Georgie, no I'll pay for my own stuff." I objected, "no, yer me date I'll pay!"
I blushed, "don't say I'm your date it makes it awkward, George." His grin fell, "oh, sorry Jackie I didn't mean it like that." I shrugged checking the clock on the wall and seeing it was five thirty, "look, George, I gotta run I'm late for dinner, I'll see you tomorrow ok?"
"Alright Jackie! I lo- I mean have a good night!" He blushed slightly, giving me a side hug and lightly kissing my temple, making me blush. I hugged him back, before rushing out of his room, down the stairs, and through his living room. "Bye Mrs. Harrison!" I shouted on my way to the door.
"Bye dear, are you sure you don't want to stay for dinner?" I stopped, "I wouldn't want to be an inconvenience."
Blushing as she smiled kindly before enveloping me in a hug.
"Nonsense! I quite enjoy your company, would you like to call your parents and ask?"
"Well, ok..." I shuffled over to the rotary phone on the wall putting in my home phone number. As it rang a few times before someone picked up, "Hello?" My mother answered.
"Hi? Mom, um Mrs. Harrison would like to know if I can stay for dinner?"
"Jacqueline you know how I feel about you being out late on Sunday nights. You have school tomorrow." I sighed into the phone,
"It's only five thirty, I'd be home right after!" I tried as George crept down the stairs and gave me a strange look.
"What's going on?" He whispered moving towards me, "Alright Jackie, but you have George bring you home I don't want you out alone after six. In fact is George there?"
I nodded, then realizing she couldn't see me replied with, "Yeah, he's right here why?"
"Let me speak to him please."
"Here Georgie!" I spoke holding the phone out to him. "Who is it?" He whispered, "my mother." I mouthed as he grinned knowing that my mother loved him, she always told him when he came around our house if she was our age she'd pounce on him.
"Ello, Mrs. Matthews..." he cheered in his thick scouse accent as he smiled down at me.
"Yes ma'am, I'll walk her right to the front door and won't leave until she is safely inside." I blushed as he wrapped his free arm around me. "Mhm, thank you Mrs. Matthews!" He responded before hanging up the phone.
"Let's see what mum's up to in the kitchen aye?" He waggled his eyebrows up and down causing me to laugh.
"Ok..." I blushed as he took my hand in his pulling me into the kitchen. "Well, Jackie what was the verdict?" George's mum joked as she stood at the sink peeling potatoes. "She can stay." George grinned, as his mum smiled and George stole a dinner roll off the center of the counter.
"George!" His mother scolded, "get out of here if you can't keep your hands out of the food!"
"But Mum I-" his mom interrupted, "no buts mister! Wait until six twenty when your Father gets home."
"Fine..." George mumbled placing his half eaten dinner roll back into the bowl. I giggled, "George, you might as well finish that." His mom laughed picking it back up out of the bowl and handing in to him.
"Oh and George? Can you run to the market and get some cream cheese for the mashed potatoes?" He nodded before raising an eyebrow and looking at me as if to say, 'ya wanna come?' I shook my head before he stumbled out of the room.
"Mrs. Harrison is there something I can do to help?"
"Oh um if you want you can peel and slice the potatoes while I finish steaming the veggies. And then put them into the pot by the sink." She grinned as I nodded and did as told.
"So Jackie, George tells me you still don't have a boyfriend." I blushed, "um no not yet, boys just don't seem to like me."
Mrs. Harrison paused, turning to look at me, "well I happen to know one who does, but if I tell you and he found out he'd kill me." She winked as I continued peeling and slicing.
"Who?" I asked chuckling, "hmm, I can't tell." I laughed causing her to grin.
"Do you want me to put water on these and put them on the stove?" She nodded, as I filled the pot with water. "Thanks Jackie! Oh I heard a car door, Harold must be home. Can you take the pot roast out while I go look?" I nodded, while she scurried off. I waited for the timer to go off before bending over to pull the roast out. I had just reached in the stove when I heard a wolf whistle.
"Isn't this a sight my two favorite things, food and..." George's voice faltered and he paused. I blushed quickly pulling the pot out of the oven, and nearly dropping it. George walked over, grabbing the pot holder out of my hand. "Let's have a look, aye?"
I giggled as he lifted the lid with one hand and grabbed a fork with the other, and took a chunk out of the top causing my eyes to bulge out of their sockets. "George! Why did you that?" I nearly squealed, as we both heard the door open, "Quick put the lid on!" I whisper yelled as he slammed the lid down on the pot, and threw the fork across the kitchen into the sink.
"Well hello kids!"
"Hi dad!" George answered wrapping an arm around me and scooting away from the pot roast. "Hello Mr. Harrison!" I greeted as he winked and Mrs. Harrison fixed the potatoes.
"Well, who wants to fix their plate first?" Mrs. Harrison asked.
"I will!" George shouted, grabbing plates down from the cupboard.

7:00 pm
"Thank you for dinner, Mrs. Harrison!" I yelled as George helped me put my coat on. "Anytime dear!"
"C'mon, Jackie" George took my hand placing it on his arm as he ushered me to the door, and we stepped out. We walked in comfortable silence for a bit, before George pulled me closer to him.
"Are you warm enough, Jackie? You feel like you're shivering." I nodded as he cut up over the hill that leads to the park.
"Georgie, this isn't the way to my house..." he grinned, "I know but I want to spend more time with you."
"George we'll have all day tomorrow... I'm cold."
"You just said you weren't cold..." he paused taking his leather jacket off and putting it around me. "There..."
"George aren't yo-" he pressed his finger to my lips, "I like it when you wear my jacket, you look really cute." I blushed, and looked down at my feet as we walked through the park and down my street to my door.
"Well 'ere we are! Home sweet home..."
"Here's your jacket, Georgie." I started taking it off, "no keep it, I want you to have it, wear it when it's cold out." He grinned blushing.
"Goodnight, George."
"Goodnight, Jacqueline... I'll see you tomorrow love." He whispered his hot breath hitting my ear and neck causing me to shiver, as he engulfed me in a hug. I blushed as, I heard the door open.
"Hello Mr. Matthews!" George grinned as my dad winked, "hello George! Thanks for walking her home!"
"Of Course! Anytime!" George grinned winking at me before heading back down the stairs. "Goodnight George!" I yelled waving.
"Goodnight Jackie!" He waved back, before running down the street.
