Dean rolled his eyes at the message from Gabe. He threw his phone on the bed and got up.

He went over to Candy's cage and opened it, letting him out and about.

They always let him roam around and have fun for a while.

Dean left their room and went to the bathroom. He started to look around for any loose blades.

As he was searching, he found a little shoebox under the cabinet. He closed the bathroom door and opened the box.

What he saw broke his heart.

A bottle of some kind of pills, a blade and a folded piece of paper where in the box. On the side of the box, the words backup plan was written.

Dean took out the paper and unfolded it. Only two words were written.

I'm sorry.

Dean started to quietly cry. He leaned against the wall and slowly slid down, holding the box and crying.

He was mad at himself for finding the box, but he was also sad that Gabe felt the need to have this.

Dean kept crying and crying. He would try to stop, but wasn't able to.

He made a note to later hide the box somewhere else.

Now he just needed to stop crying.
