Right then, onto the facts!

Fact #3961
Lewis Carroll wrote "Alice in Wonderland" which in itself was weird. Carroll was very old school and conservative in his ways, so his outrageous storyline caught everyone off guard. Many speculate that Carroll was on drugs when he wrote the book and that Alice was a product of his drug-induced state.

Fact #3962
St. Helens, Oregon, is where the original Halloweentown was filmed, and they welcome tourists. In fact, they have a month-long Spirit of Halloweentown event to celebrate the October holiday and allow fans of the movie to explore the town. They even try to recreate parts of the set, like the giant jack-o-lantern in the town square.

Fact #3963
Despite there being four Disney Channel Original Movies in the Halloweentown series, many actors only appeared in a couple of them. Only Judith Hoag, who played Marnie's mom, Gwen, and Joey Zimmerman, who played Marnie's brother, Dylan, are credited as appearing in all of the Halloweentown titles.

Fact #3964
Before appearing in High School Musical, Olesya Rulin, who played Kelsi, appeared in Halloweentown High as Natalie the Pink Troll. Lucas Gabreel, who played Ryan, played Ethan the Warlock in the same film. Ethan even mentions that he has always wanted to be in a play, but it would be another two years before the musical hit debuted on Disney.

Fact #3965
During Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, over 500,000 family photos are taken.

Fact #3966
A cast of 175, including performers, float drivers, costumers, cosmetologists, decorators and maintenance cast members, brings Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade to life.

Fact #3967
13 Disney characters are exclusive to Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade: Big Al, Captain Barbosa, Christopher Robin, Kanga and Roo, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed — the three hyenas from The Lion King, — plus three Hitch-Hiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion and Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Fact #3968
Jack and Sally are not in the Halloween parade, but instead available for meet and greets in Town Square.

Fact #3969
The Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular is narrated by the Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion.

Fact #3970

Fact #3971

Fact #3973
Women's fingernails cannot exceed a quarter of an inch past the fingertip, and nail polish is not allowed. Meanwhile, men's nails cannot go past their fingertip.

Fact #3974 (Employee Story)
The hallway to get to our break room was also connected to the main tunnels underneath MK, and the opening to the Mickey castle show. Walking around that area I've seen Prince Charming argue with a Michael Kors rep about a watch, Jasmine and Snow White stuffing their face with birthday cake and fixing wedgies, Wendy take her hair off, Tiana and Merida twerk together, and Peter Pan, Tink, and Punzie eat lunch and talk crap about Naveen.

Fact #3975
The cast of Austin & Ally only had a few days to prep before they had to know their lines. They got the scripts on Fridays and shooting started bright and early on Mondays.

Fact #3976

China Anne McClain voices Freddy, the daughter of Doctor Facilier, in Descendants: Wicked World.

Fact #3977
While the Princess & The Frog takes place in the mid-1920s, the time when Prohibition was still enforced until 1933, alcohol is seen being served in Tiana's restaurant, on the riverboat, and at the La Bouffs' masquerade ball. Prohibition was widely ignored in the US generally, and particularly in New Orleans, so this isn't very surprising.

Fact #3978
When the Shadow Man is reading Prince Naveen's tarot cards, the last card he pulls is of the prince's future. It features the prince sitting on a lilypad in a pond (with the money in hand), foreshadowing his later transformation.

Fact #3979
The Mama Odie character was inspired and patterned after the late famed New Orleans storyteller Coleen Salley, even down to the character's voice. Coleen consulted with the director several times, but never lived to see the completed movie. Her name is mentioned in the films credits. Coleen was known especially for the telling of the old Southern children's story "Epaminondas and His Auntie" and her own updated version entitled "Epossumondas". Mama Odie can even be heard saying a famous line from those stories: "You ain't got the sense you was born with!" Coleen passed away September 16, 2008 at the age of 79.

Fact #3980
New Orleans celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse - who is famous for his Cajun and Creole cuisine - plays the voice of Marlon, one of the alligators who tries to eat Naveen and Tiana in the swamp.

Fact #3981
One notable similarity between Dr. Facilier and Keith David, who provided his voice, is that both have a prominent gap in their front teeth. The animators also incorporated David's expressions and gestures into the character.

Fact #3982
Dr. Facilier is Disney's first black villain.

Fact #3983
Tiana's "Almost There" fantasy sequence was based on the art of African-American painter Aaron Douglas, one of the major figures of the Harlem Renaissance.
