Location: Gummi Ship, Space

As Kitty began to wake up in her bed, she held her head as she looked around to see that she was on the ship again. When her memory begins to clear, Kitty realizes that she and the others were not in Ursula's lair anymore and remembers about the event with Soejammy being the Darkness Creature.

Kitty: Jammy!!

Getting up from her bed quickly, she began to rush towards where everyone else was as she made it to the cockpit to look around. Everyone was present, except for Nintega and Soejammy. Her deep breathing could be heard as Riku was the first to approach her.

Riku: Kitty, calm down.

Kitty: Where are they?

Riku: Kitty. I need you to calm down.

Being told to calm down, Kitty began to take a few deep breaths as Sora approached her.

Sora: I'm guessing you're wondering where Nintega and Jammy are...?

As if knowing what Kitty was wanting to ask, Riku began to explain to her.

Riku: How can we put this... Let me think...

Flashback

Location Traverse Town, 1st District

Leon, Yuffie and Aerith were currently sitting at the shop as they were thinking of what to do if the others come back.

Yuffie: Not much goin' on here really. With the Keyhole sealed, we're pretty much able to relax without the Heartless taking this world.

Aerith: Thankfully anyone else who wonders here will be safe too.

Leon: That just only means the others have to keep working hard to figure out how to stop this mess before all worlds end up disappearing.

Yuffie: Come on, Squall.

Leon: I told you, my name is Leon.

Yuffie raised her hands with a pout on her face and shook her head.

Yuffie: Potato, patato.

Leon: What part of that means the same??? They're both different.

Aerith: You two...

Leon sighed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Leon: If you ask me, if we see those guys back here, it'll be too so-

Before he could finish his sentence, the Gummi Ship crash landed in the middle of the District as everyone freaked out, except for Leon.

Leon: I should have kept my mouth shut.

The Gummi Ship opens up as Nintega was dragging a unconscious, yet Darkness fueled Soejammy out of the ship and keeping him restrained.

Nintega: God damn it! Why the hell does he wake up first before the cat!?

Sora: You want to ask Jammy that?! Hey Jammy-?

Soejammy then tried to produce a claw that nearly missed Sora's face as he backed away to hit his head on the ship.

Riku: Sora! I know you want to follow in their footsteps, but now is not the time!

Sora: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?

Leon: HEY!!! What the hell are you all doing!?

Nintega looked back and began to smile.

Nintega: Leon! So glad to see you!!

Leon looked at Nintega with a blank look on his face with Yuffie and Aerith looking at him.

Yuffie: You know him?

Aerith: Another friend?

Leon: He is most definitely NOT my friend, nor do I know him.

Nintega gave a shocked expression before returning to a calm and thoughtful expression.

Nintega: Wait... I haven't even met Leon yet here. My bad.

Nintega felt himself get headbutted by the back of Soejammy's head as he growled.

Leon: You gotta be kidding me. What happened this time???

Nintega: Ask the witch herself if she ever shows up! Apparently she did something to Jammy while we were fish people in an underwater world!

The three looked at Nintega as if not believing him one bit as he spoke up again.

Nintega: I'm being serious!!

Yuffie: Haaaa... Looks like we need to help take Jammy to Merlin again.

Aerith: I hope the wizard isn't going to be angry...

Keeping Soejammy under control, the others began to make sure Soejammy wouldn't lash out and accidentally hurt someone on the way there.

Location: Third District, Merlin's House.

Merlin: HOW DID THIS HAPPEN TO HIM NOW!?

After arriving and showing Merlin Soejammy's new condition, he nearly shook his own home from the yell.

Leon: Knew that would happen...

Yuffie: What? Are you "psychic" too?

Leon: Yuffie, don't you start with that. It was bad enough that he did it, don't you bring that back up again.

Yuffie: You're just mad because you thought you almost lost to a literal psychic~

Leon: Yuffie...!

Merlin: Will you all be quiet!? I'm trying to concentrate here!

Focusing back onto Soejammy, Merlin was using his magic to analyze what was going on with Soejammy while the others did their best to restrain him.

Merlin: Oh my. This is not good.

Sora: What's happening to Jammy, Merlin???

Merlin: Well my boy, your friend here is in quite a predicament. Not only is his Darkness being pulled out... But it's even influencing his mind...

Everyone became alarmed at how Soejammy was being influenced by his Darkness.

Aerith: What can you do Merlin...?

Mini-Nep popped out of Soejammy's pocket as she looked at the wizard himself as Nintega saw her.

Mini-Nep: Nep...

Nintega: Mini-Nep... Wait! She's always inside Jammy's pockets! Do you know a memory spell, Merlin???

Merlin: Ah. You want to see and hear what she saw, yes?

Nintega: We need to see what happened to Jammy when he talked to Maleficent when we weren't even with him after getting separated.

Merlin nodded his head as the wizard looked at the tiny girl in Soejammy's pocket.

Merlin: Now... Young miss? Mind if I ask you to come out? It's just only for a request we need you to help us with.

Looking at Merlin, Mini-Nep exited out of Soejammy's pocket while Merlin held out a hand for the tiny girl to sit on. Once Mini-Nep sits down, Merlin raises her up as he begins to cast a spell.

Merlin: Now... We look into here, sift through some thoughts and memories there- Aa ha! There it is... Now... Let's pull this thought bubble out...

Focusing his magic, Merlin began to retrieve the memory from Mini-Nep as a projection bubble going from Mini-Nep's perspective could be seen and hear Soejammy's voice. They were in a small secluded area as Mini-Nep poked her head out of the pocket to look up at Soejammy.

Soejammy (Memory): Why the HELL did all this happen!? Ugh! That stupid duck...! Thinking he's so much better than everyone else around him...! Can't even defend himself from danger if he's all alone with no support!

Mini-Nep (Memory): Nep...?

Soejammy looked down at Mini-Nep and almost began to worry, but with the magic around them, Mini-Nep was safe in his pocket.

Soejammy (Memory): Right... Magic breathing... Keep forgetting we're underwater... No fish gills or fins...

Mini-Nep (Memory): Neppy nepu nep nep?

Soejammy (Memory): Sorry... I don't mean to be in a fricken mood right now. The stupid duck had to go and open his stupid bill again and... Ugh... I HATE that duck so much...!

Mini-Nep (Memory): Nep...

Soejammy sighed as he began to stand up and groaned.

Soejammy (Memory): Ugh... Now I feel like doing nothing because of that duck. Does he think he is so great? He wouldn't last in a fight against me if he was all by himself.

??? (Memory): Then, why not prove it then?

Hearing a familiar voice, Soejammy quickly turned around and Mini-Nep could see Maleficent in the memory bubble. Mini-Nep cowered away when seeing Maleficent again as something had happened in Atlantica.

Riku: She seems very frightened...

Merlin: Yes. Whatever happened that is causing her to be scared of her now, it has to do with what we're about to see.

In the memory bubble, Soejammy began to walk while Maleficent floated on a rock in the area as well.

Soejammy (Memory): What do you want, you pesky witch?

Maleficent (Memory): My, is that how you greet a "friend"?

Soejammy (Memory): As far as I'm concerned, you're NOT my friend. Who is to say you won't betray us at some point and do something?

Maleficent (Memory): Whatever could you possibly mean?

Soejammy scoffed in the memory as he faced towards her with Oblivion held out to cast magic if necessary.

Soejammy (Memory): Don't be fuckin' coy. You lost your leadership, your castle, your team of villains from other worlds to the leadership of Chronos. Now you're making sure to stay hidden in the shadows so that if and when Chronos is defeated, you'll swoop in like nothing has changed. Am I wrong?

Maleficent scoffed at Soejammy as she turned her back to him.

Maleficent (Memory): And wouldn't you be mad if you lost everything for the sake of what you've been working hard for? Don't tell me you would be upset if a certain "cat" were to die?

Hearing that from Maleficent, Soejammy began to focus a fire spell and aimed it at the witch.

Soejammy (Memory): Lay as much as a nail on her, and I'll make you sorry for even talking about her in front of me.

Maleficent (Memory): What do I have to gain by doing such a thing anyway? Unless... Do you have feelings for such a person?

Soejammy (Memory): I would prefer that you shut up. Otherwise, this "peaceful" meeting will get very sour fast...

Maleficent began to chuckle in what was said before turning towards Soejammy.

Maleficent (Memory): And yet, I haven't done anything of the sort... Yet~

Soejammy (Memory): Just what are you- GAH!!!

Soejammy fell to the ground hard as Mini-Nep's vision looked up to see a shadow hand trapping Soejammy to the floor.

Soejammy (Memory): Maleficent!!

Maleficent (Memory): You think I would like to get my hands dirty right now and expose myself like this? I don't do things unless it's all for benefit. More for my side actually.

Soejammy (Memory): RELEASE THE SPELL YOU HAG!!!

Mini-Nep looked up at Maleficent as she began to cast another spell that contained her signature green fire and prepared to fire it.

Maleficent (Memory): Let's see what happens if I give your little Darkness power... A bit of a boost, shall we~?

Soejammy (Memory): MALEFICENT!! NO!!!!

Before Soejammy could get freed, Maleficent casted her power towards Soejammy as Mini-Nep hides back in Soejammy's pocket as to protect herself from the spell Maleficent casted. From here on, groans and sounds of pain could be heard as Soejammy broke free from the spell and tried to fight Maleficent, but has escaped from him it seems.

Soejammy (Memory): No...! That bitch...! UGH...!!!!

Soejammy could be heard in pain as he kept voicing his troubles.

Soejammy (Memory): Mini-Nep! Don't come back out of that pocket unless you hear me stop talking and leaving this world...! Wait until you hear Merlin's voice or Nintega's!! I got to figure out a plan, or everyone is going to be in danger...!!

From there, the events that lead to what happened after regrouping with the others and becoming the Dark Creature happen as normal as Mini-Nep had to cover her ears with how terrified she was at that moment. With that, the memory bubble disappears as Merlin begins to weigh the odds.

Merlin: So that's what happened it seems.

Nintega: Maleficent... That witch. Jammy said he encountered her, but to think we were right that she did something to him that made him become this. Jammy knew the entire time what was going to happen, but didn't even want to risk worrying us.

Merlin: Even if he did not wish for the power to be bestowed onto him, Maleficent casted her own power to him. Enhancing his Darkness further it seems.

Riku: What will that do to Jammy?

Merlin: If what I heard, he loses control from the power he is given. It's raw energy. It's not harnessed nor controlled. It's doing more harm where he can't control his own actions should he lose focus and balance. Maleficent has pushed that balance out of control in the poor lad.

Sora: Can you do something to help him, Merlin?

Soejammy (unconscious): Spike nerd...

Sora: And can you do something to get him to stop calling me something with "Spike" in the name!?

Nintega places a hand on Sora's shoulder and shakes his head.

Merlin: Although I can't change someone's speech pattern... If we can't dispel the magic done to him, the only other options are to repress his emotions, or learn how to harness the energy that's been given to bring him back to balance with his light...

Leon: How long will that take?

Merlin: I really can't be certain Leon... All I know... is that this boy's life is at PURE risk of being consumed in the darkness... His heart is edging closer and closer... If he doesn't get control of it, he may be lost forever...

Nintega looked at Merlin and stepped forward.

Nintega: What do we need to do???

Merlin: The boy must stay here. He'll have to focus real hard to keep the Darkness under check and from losing control. With his power too close to his emotions, he'll need to focus on balancing his energy to keep it from pushing the Darkness out. But I can't do it alone. I'll need someone to help in case the boy loses control. To help subdue him when that happens.

Nintega: I'll stay and help him. He's like a brother to me. I can't just abandon him when he's suffering like this. He needs someone there that can help him.

Merlin: If that is what you wish. Just make sure you're prepared to fight him if needed...

Nintega: I was literally thrashed by him, I rather it be me than a certain duck. He would get it much worse.

Donald wanted to say something, but Goofy quickly closed his bill.

Goofy: Donald... I don't think you should speak...

Donald grumbled as he crossed his arms. Merlin looked towards the others as Merlin gave Leon, Yuffie and Aerith a look to leave the room for a moment to which they did before Merlin looked at Nintega.

Merlin: Now... How did you-

Nintega: Kitty casted a powerful light spell and knocked him out because of it.

Merlin: Ah... So that cat's out of the bag...

Nintega: Figuratively and quite literally.

Merlin: Blast it... How can people NEVER keep a secret??? It's not that hard!

Nintega: You trusted a guy who gets angry very fast with knowledge of what Kitty had and not expected to blow his lid when it happens?

Merlin wanted to speak, but looked at Nintega.

Merlin: You look familiar...

Nintega: Sup Merlin~ We meet again~

Merlin: NINTEGA!?

Nintega: You just realized who I am now!?

Merlin: It's been 10 years!! Give this old man a break!!!

After that, the Gummi Ship would be repaired again as the group would be lectured by Cid to be more careful when flying the ship.

End of Flashback

Sora: Although we got a new ship ready and repaired, Sid... Did add in something unexpected...

???: You call that flying? You drive slower than a roast duck cooking on a rotisserie.

Donald: WAK!! NO I DO NOT!!!

???: With that temper??? You sure could cook yourself if you really get mad. Makes me want to see that~

Donald: I'm not someone to be cooked!! I am a Royal Court Magician for the King!!!

???: Then how about cooking something up with fire magic, how about roasted poultry?

Donald was yelling in anger while being insulted as Kitty took a closer look.

Kitty: Sid... Installed an AI to give the ship a... Conscious or speaking voice...?

???: Wow, someone give this kitty cat a fish. Because she won that one.

Kitty: Heh, I'm already liking this new feature. Bonus points for winding Donald up.

After Kitty's comment a cooked fish is produced from the floor to appear next to Kitty to treat her for her observation. Even though it was a huge question where the fish even came from, there were no complaints.

Kitty: This... Is the best ship of all time.

???: Sorry. You were asleep when you were brought on. My name is Wayfinder. Your friend Nintega gave me that name as he explained what that term meant for him. If any of you lose your way, I'll be happily able to guide you all back safely should the trip to a world or adventure becomes too hostile there for recuperation.

Kitty blinked her eyes as she looked at the others.

Kitty: So, we have an assistant now?

Wayfinder (AI): I like to call myself a personal navigator if you please. But in short, an assistant is what I am.

Kitty: Personal navigator does sound a lot better. Just wish we had you with us a lot earlier... Things would have been much better saving worlds.

Donald: What is that meant to mean?!

Everyone looked at Donald with silence, even Goofy and Jiminy before Jiminy broke the silence.

Jiminy: Well... You can be a bit... Stubborn when it comes to navigating to worlds you only think is worth going too...

Riku: Not to mention admitting that worlds your so called "King", wouldn't think about going to them. Only leaving worlds to fend for themselves while the Heartless can do as they please.

Sora: And only focusing on what YOU want. So yes, even Wayfinder would make a way better captain than you.

Wayfinder (AI): Well I know who one of my favorites in this crew are. Thank you Sora.

Sora beamed in being complimented by the new computer for the ship.

Sora: Thanks, Wayfinder! At least you say my name instead of calling me by a nickname.

Wayfinder (AI): Oh, you mean things to do with your spiky hair? I was told about them, was I meant to call you by them instead?

Sora: Please... Please just stick with Sora...

Wayfinder (AI): Are you sure? Because I compiled many variations that have to do with your hair. Spiker, Porcupine-hair, Prickle-man, Pincushion-

Sora: JUST STICK WITH MY NAME PLEASE!!!

Though the group did feel a bit bad for Sora, everyone couldn't help but laugh at the misfortune of his.

Sora: Who even TOLD you about those nicknames to begin with???

Wayfinder (AI): Nintega. He said something about... I believe Jammy is the name, calling you those names and that it's a running gag?

Sora: I'm gonna strangle them. I will!

Kitty: Maybe you could not think about strangling them...? They're the most infuriating people in the universe to deal with, but still friends. If anything, just take any frustrations out on the duck. He's practically future food at this point. Even target practice.

Donald: I AM NOT FUTURE FOOD!

Wayfinder (AI): Then, does this mean my weapon systems can even be used on-

Donald: Not target practice! NOT TARGET PRACTICE!!!

Riku: You didn't deny that before though, only the future food comment. So you're target practice.

Donald's head was turning bright red from anger, steam about to be coming out of his ears. Well steam was coming out of his ears after another comment from Wayfinder.

Wayfinder (AI): Don't start a fire on the ship, I don't want to use the sprinkler system. Though that might be what you need to cool off.

Donald: First, Jammy with the smart remarks! And now Cid had to give us a replacement Jammy!? CAN THIS DAY GET ANY WORSE!?

???: IT SURE CAN!!!

Riku: You had to open the bill... Didn't you?

Donald was too busy banging his head against a wall from things just getting worse to answer Riku. As Goofy checked on him, everyone else focused on who the voice came from.

Kitty: And of course the original target practice would be here... And I bet the weapon maniac and the only bearable robot are with him... Hello Zaku, Dom and Gouf. Not a pleasure seeing you all again...

Zaku: Hey! What's that supposed to mean, you stupid cat!?

Kitty: Want to find out how much hate there is seeing you with a cricut fry?! It's a great time to practice some lightning!

Zaku: HA! Try casting magic in the vast vacuum of space!! I bet it won't happen, pipsqueak!!

Hissing in pure and unadulterated anger, Kitty got out her Oathkeeper and focused her magic. Thanks to having some practice, she was able to make just enough lighting to fry Zaku's circuits without causing damage to the ship.

Zaku: GBAJABBYUAKSNUABHGB

Kitty: Word of advice? Don't threaten someone whose strength is in magic...

Holding a position, Zaku began to float softly upward in space after the magical lightning struck him. Gouf and Dom had to work together to reach his foot to stop him from floating out.

Gouf: You just never learn to shut up before proven wrong. Or do I need to remind you about the "Physics" book I found where a Zako explained to me in "Wonderland"?

Zaku: Can it and just focus on getting me to safety!

Working to get Zaku down, Wayfinder was listening to all of this as it began to speak.

Wayfinder (AI): Are these more "friends" of yours?

Goofy: Well wouldn't really say friends...

Sora: Unless you mean that term as the most annoying and stalkerish enemies in existence...

Wayfinder (AI): So, they mean to harm those that I carry within this ship if given the chance?

Riku: That's completely right. We've faced them so many times in the past, even held hostage by them.

Thinking about the information given. Wayfinder soon comes to a conclusion of what to do.

Wayfinder (AI): Everyone, please sit down and buckle up. I will fly us to safety.

Donald: Hold on! I am the captain, this is MY ship!

Wayfinder (AI): Target Practice.

Donald: I AM NOT TARGET PRACTICE!

Wayfinder (AI): Fear not my friends. I have been loaded with the best possible way of escaping these hostile forces. The black box on this ship has taught me all I need to know how this ship can fly and speeds it can obtain.

Donald: Oh no you don't! We do NOT need another maniac driver!

A chair rose up behind Donald before engaging restrain mode to ensure his safety before flight protocols can be accessed.

Wayfinder (AI): Preparing for flight procedure. Everyone, please be seated until further instructions.

Not willing to argue against Wayfinder and be restrained themselves, like Donald fighting against said restraints, everyone sat down and buckled up to prepare for flight.

Zaku: Now! Got any last words before we scrap you all down to blocks!?

Wayfinder (AI): Suggestion: Move.

Zaku, Gouf and Dom looked at each other and then to the ship as if confused.

Zaku: What kind of suggestion is-

Before Zaku could finish his sentence, Wayfinder began to pilot the ship as the thrusters kicked in full force to quickly fly and scrape the ship Zaku, Gouf and Dom were on. The ship was spinning as the three were holding on for their metal lives.

Zaku: STOP THE SPINNING!!! STOP THE SPIN CYCLE!!!

Gouf: ZAKO MINIONS!!! STOP THIS SHIP'S SPIN AT ONCE AND FOLLOW THEM!!!

Hearing the command, the Zakos even struggled to stop the ship from spinning.

Gouf: Good... Now we can-

But due to following orders, the Zakos began to fly the ship fast to follow their enemies as Zaku, Gouf and Dom were holding onto the ship exterior to not fall off from the top.

Gouf: YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!

Zaku: You had to say "follow them" too, didn't you!?

Gouf: Oh shut up, idiot of physics!!!

Zaku: Will you let that go already?!

The three were yelling while the Kamusai was following after the Gummi Ship with Wayfinder mimicking Soejammy's piloting.

Sora: Talk about losing Jammy, when his spirit of flying this thing is still here!!!

Donald: The moment we get back to Traverse Town, I'm getting Cid to remove this!!

Riku: Why? Because you can't handle someone who is a better pilot than you?

Donald: No! We almost had a few crashes when we flew with Jammy!!!

Wayfinder (AI): Rest assured, I will be doing my best to avoid all crashes. I would not want to risk anyone on the ship getting hurt.

Donald: That is still not comforting at this speed!

Another seatbelt proceeded to keep Donald quiet by putting it around his open bill as a makeshift mouth gag. This got sighs of relief from most of the team.

Kitty: Finally, some peace and quiet...

Goofy: Was putting a seatbelt over his bill the best id-

Everyone except for Donald and Wayfinder: Yes.

Jiminy: Well the jury has spoken.

Wayfinder (AI): This is only temporary, just to make focus easier on arriving safely to the next world and get the hostile beings away from us.

As the chase kept up, Zaku looked at the others and nodded his head as they needed to stop them in their tracks.

Zaku: Alright you worthless bolt brains! Fire the secret weapon!!!

With this order, the Zakos got the secret weapon, also known as a game disk ready to fire. Preparing and making sure it was aimed right, the Zako threw the disk as far as they could. Unfortunately for the group, the disk made a portal with no chance of escaping its path. As the portal was made, Wayfinder noticed it as it spoke to the group.

Wayfinder (AI): I had been told about random portals opening up and causing the ship to be sucked in, is this one of those portals?

Hearing Wayfinder's question, the group looked up to see what it was talking about. Muffled screaming from Donald was the first sign of alarm, eyes widening from the others being the second.

Goofy: Another one?!

Jiminy: This is the fourth portal that has opened up like this now! How many more are there going to be?!

Riku: Hopefully the last one.

Sora: Wayfinder, can you try and stee-

Before Sora could finish his question, Wayfinder spoke up as it was already in action trying to steer the ship away from the portal.

Wayfinder (AI): Already on it, Sora. But if unable too, make sure to stay buckled up and brace for any possible impacts.

Just as Wayfinder says that, the Kamusai come barreling at the team as they ram the ship.

Zaku: RAMMING SPEEEEEEED!!!!

Gouf: You moron!! Look where we are now!!!

Looking at the portal, Zaku wanted to say something, but looked at Gouf with a look.

Zaku: I blame you.

Dom: Dah, but you rammed into ship.

Zaku: Didn't need your opinion on this, moron!

Gouf: Dom, remind me to find my anti-material rockets. I think Zaku needs to do some... Running training at some point.

Dom: Agreed.

Zaku: TRAITORS!!!

As Zaku said that, their ship and the Gummi Ship began to get pulled towards the portal by the gravitational force.

World: Astral Forces

As the two ships entered the portal, the ships began to fall from the sky as the disturbance in the electrical units was fried this time. Wayfinder was trying to keep the ship stable while trying to keep itself powered, while the Kamusai was free falling with Zaku, Gouf and Dom still holding on for their lives.

Gouf: WE ARE GONNA DIE!!! AND THIS IS YOUR FAULT ZAKU!!!

Zaku: I STILL BLAME YOU!!!

In the Gummi Ship, warning alarms were going off as the instruments on the ship were short circuiting.

Wayfinder (AI): W-Warning! Multiple electrical interferences detected! Losing gyro stabilization controls!

Because of the control loss, Donald was able to get out of the restraints and immediately took control trying to stop the ship from crashing.

Donald: I knew this was going to happen, I just knew it!!

Riku: This was gonna happen REGARDLESS! Don't place blame on others!!!

Kitty: Or put it on the robots that rammed into us!!

Sora: Also, wasn't the Duck gagged a moment ago?

Jiminy: It seems with the power outage like this, the restraints were loosened.

Hearing this, Kitty looked at Jiminy with fear in her eyes.

Kitty: Wait... If the belts were loosened because of the power outage... Doesn't that mean ours are as well?!?!

Everyone went silent when realizing this, looking at their loosened belts. Pure panic spread over the group as they held onto their chairs, screaming for dear life. Donald was doing his best to get a safe landing, but a crash landing was inevitable. With everyone clinging onto something to brace for impact, the ship soon crashed onto the roof of a building.

Kitty's point of view

Location: Neuron, Rooftop Landing

After another crash landing, groans came from the group as we all shakingly stood up.

Kitty: Is everyone okay...? Anyone hurt...?

Riku: I'll live... Sora?

Sora just gave a thumbs up, looking a bit dizzy after the landing. Looking at the others, Jiminy hid inside Goofy's hat for safety, Goofy himself safe on his seat. Donald however...

Donald: Any more crash landings and I am so done with this entire thing!!

Was stuck to the wall... Again... As Donald got himself off the wall, he groaned in annoyance as he looked out the window.

Donald: Stuck in another world from another portal! This is the last thing we needed! And I can't even tell where we are!

Goofy: Gwarsh, what can you see? Maybe we can figure out where we are that way?

Donald: Doubt it with how only the darkness lunatic knows these worlds, but worth a try I guess. All I can see is... Buildings, and... Some sort of white circle with a H in the middle?

My ears perked up hearing this, getting up fast and moving to the window. Seeing where we are, I practically went as pale as Casper. Jiminy seemed to notice this as he made his way to me.

Jiminy: Kitty? Are you okay? You're pale as a ghost!

I looked at Jiminy hearing him, giving a shaky smile and nod. Before looking at the group, I had to keep calm as this was going to be a dangerous world to go through.

Kitty: The world is a game called Astral Chain. An alien species called Chimeras are taking over, and to make matters worse they are invisible unless you have what's called a Legion. Only very few people have them, and they are the only ones who can fight the Chimeras. DO NOT let your guard down. They can AND will corrupt you, and... Well... Just be careful if you want to keep your humanity...

Everyone seemed to look at me when I said that as Donald was the first to bring it up.

Donald: The one world where we don't have those idiot stand people to do the job for us then!!

I looked at Donald, before closing my eyes and taking some deep breaths. Opening my eyes again, I had to keep strong when saying this.

Kitty: I need your trust... Everyone's trust. Because I am taking charge...

Everyone was silent when hearing me say that, but Donald began to laugh when he heard it.

Donald: You??? Taking charge!? That is the FUNNIEST thing, you have EVER said!!!

I hissed, annoyed but scared for everyone's safety. But I looked at Donald, serious but emotionless to try and hide the fear.

Kitty: You think this is a joke...? Let me ask you duck... Do you think if we game over and die, we are getting more chances...? Do you think we could just save and restart from our last save point if we fail...?

Donald: What do you think we are? In a game?

Kitty: Exactly. We die, we are not coming back to life... This world is vicious.. We are dealing with invisible enemies, corruption, back stabbings from those people trust in this world. And depending on what events have already happened? Those Legions that can fight against Chimeras could be out of control and ready to attack even those who control them! We. Are. Not. SAFE! But sure. Don't trust the only one here who knows this and could get us through this as safely as we could. You want to lead? Fine. You deal with it and keep everyone here ALIVE.

After ranting about the dangers, I was panting from explaining it all as the others did look worried besides Donald.

Riku: When HASN'T Kitty or Jammy given us a reason not to trust them? Sure, the island when we first met.

Sora: But Jammy and his friends have been helpful to guide us to safety.

Jiminy: All this time, they've only ever focused on helping find everyone and keeping the worlds safe.

Goofy: And helping us find the King when they PROMISED.

Donald: Did you have to emphasize the last word...?

Goofy: It's just to show they are reliable.

Ignoring Donald, I looked at the ground as I spoke up once more.

Kitty: If you want to stay here, then it would be safest with Wayfinder on the ship. But if you do want to go out into the world, your safety is my main priority. I'm not Jammy, and sure as hell am not a fighter... But even if it's just the one world, I'm asking for trust and belief, nothing more.

The others looked around and Riku sighed.

Riku: The quickest way to leave this world is by beating whatever is keeping us here, right? I'm down for fighting against whoever is keeping us here. Sora?

Sora: After three random portal worlds by now, this shouldn't be too much of a challenge. I'm all in!

As I kept looking around, this place began to get more familiar as I looked and took in my surroundings. We landed on the rooftop of Neuron, the group with the legions that can help fight the Chimeras. But with landing on the rooftop like this, I have a feeling things are going to be off to a rocky start.

Kitty: Um... Maybe we should try and get off this roof and with the ship if we can. I think crashing here was not a good idea.

Donald: CRASH LANDING! Not like we could plan where we wanted to land!

I had to take some deep breaths before losing control again, but spoke with gritted teeth to Donald.

Kitty: Can you at least TRY and see if we can move the ship? Unless you want to risk the coldest welcome.

Sora: Huh? Why do you say that?

Riku: I think you should tell them.

Riku said as he pointed towards the approaching officers as they rushed up the platform we were on and stood at attention to block our path towards the elevators. It was my turn to bang my head against the wall of the ship, cursing Chronos to infinity and beyond right now, along with the stalker robots.

Neuron Officer (Megaphone): To the people that are on the ship! You are on restricted property! Come out with your hands up!!

Kitty: Okay... Everyone off the ship, DO NOT try to run or say anything. Let me deal with this. These are Neuron officers, the police force of this world.

Riku: You know who they are?

Kitty: Yes. These are normal officers, but a select few of them have the Legions that keep this world protected as much as possible from the Chimeras. We don't need to be making an enemy of them right now or things are going to be a lot worse. We need them as our allies.

Jiminy: So, they're like the worlds we traveled to before?

I nodded my head at Jiminy's question, but remained silent when thinking. If anything happens, it's on my head. But without knowing all the events that have happened so far, it's hard to know what dangers we are facing. But it's best for the group to know the truth about these worlds.

Kitty: In truth, the worlds where we have gained the powers we have now, they're all from other games... The Dagger and Stand, and my Power of Flight. They're all from our world that was compacted into those disks and turned into real worlds. I don't know how they were made, but considering an enemy of Jammy has followed him to this universe for more direct attack? I would want to assume it was Chronos... I'm sorry we never told you before, but without knowing for sure, it's hard to know exactly what Chronos will have planned... I can't give you any answers about who Chronos is, how the worlds are even being made, or anything really. It's something Jammy would be best to answer.

Riku: And yet, a fowl always ridicules him.

Donald: Hey! I heard that!!

Kitty: All I can say... The history between Chronos and Jammy runs deep. But no one, not even Jammy, knows WHY Chronos targets him like this. So don't ever judge him... He's the strongest fighter there is for all he's been through. If Jammy was here, he would have given a better layout of where we are and what to do. I... Know this game as well, but have struggled to finish the main storyline without help. If you don't want to risk going into this world with me after learning all this, then it's completely understood. But one way or another, I'm getting us out of here.

Everyone looked at me as if I was speaking nonsense for a moment, before Riku approached me.

Riku: Kitty, you'll be a great leader. Yes, it's not every day you have to be strong and go out of your comfort zone. But with you being here and knowing about this place more than us, makes you someone we should follow.

I looked at Riku surprised at his words, before smiling softly as I felt a lot of relief having some trust.

Kitty: Thank you Riku. It truly means a lot.

Donald: We're really going to- WAK!

Not looking at Donald, I quickly turned around and saw that his head was now in the floor of the ship as none of us knew why that happened. But when seeing something... Or more specifically someone, I rolled my eyes and asked a sarcastic question.

Kitty: Getting secrets out of the way, who was going to tell me about Star Platinum being with me now...?

The others looked at me in confusion with what just happened.

Sora: What are you talking about?

Goofy: We're not sure what you mean.

Looking at Sora, I asked him to do something.

Kitty: Sora, get your Keyblade out. Back in the Jojo world, we were able to see the faint energy of the stands because of them.

Sora looked at me weirdly as he did as instructed. When he did, he still looked at me weirdly after he did.

Sora: I still don't see anything.

Riku: Yeah. Star Platinum was still with Jammy? Right?

Kitty: But I only have the flight disk... Unless...

Checking something, I removed the disk for my flight. But when another disk came with it, my eyes widened as I held up the disk for Star Platinum.

Kitty: Unless someone sneaked Star Platinum away from Jammy...

Popping his head out of the floor, Donald looked at me as he still heard everything.

Donald: What?! I still have to deal with Jammy even if he's in a coma!? This isn't fair!!!

Feeling my rage increasing based on Donald's comment, I silently put the disks back as I could see Star Platinum again. Only glancing at Donald, Star Platinum got the hint as Donald was sent flying back into the floor again.

Kitty: Ever talk about Jammy like that again, I'll have Star Platinum do MUCH worse than just the floor punches. Jammy will do ANYTHING to protect his friends. Even if it meant still having to save your sorry ass. Oh by the way...

Looking at Donald when he finally got his head out, my face was close to his in terms of how pissed I was.

Kitty: You're not dealing with Jammy... You're dealing with ME. And unless you want a repeat of having a pure light sword swinging your way~? SHUT. YOUR. BILL!

Turning away from Donald, I looked out the window seeing batons and guns ready by the officers.

Neuron Officer (Megaphone): If you do not come out in the next minute, we will come in and storm the ship by force! This is your last warning!!

Kitty: We can't keep delaying going out there... Even if you're staying behind, you have to come out. We need to make sure they don't think we're a threat.

I sighed as I began to head for the door as I held my hands up to show that I was trying to come out peacefully as the officers saw me.

Neuron Officer: That's it. Slowly now.

I wanted to say something to them all, but what choice did I have in trying to explain. They were prepared for a fight. The smart thing to do, if Jammy was here, would be to surrender and come quietly. They're not our enemy. No reason to give them one. As I came out of the ship and got off, I glanced at the door seeing the others coming out, causing me to mentally sigh with relief that no fights had to happen.

Neuron Officer: Um... Sir? We have a walking Duck and Dog... Should we be concerned?

Donald: Yeah, how about you stop talking like we're not here!

Neuron Officer: THE DUCK TALKED!?

I glared at Donald, mouthing the words "Light sword" at him, as not a threat, but a promise now if he causes this to go wrong. Donald was about to say something, but Goofy stopped him.

Goofy: Sorry for surprising you, fellas. We're not from around here.

Neuron Officer: And now the dog is talking too... How wonderful...

Neuron Officer 2: Well we do have Lappy. This doesn't feel as strange somehow compared to that... Even though Lappy is a costume...

Donald: HOW IS A TALKING DOG NOT AS STRANGE AS ME RIGHT NOW!?

When sensing hostility from the duck, two officers aimed their tasers and began electrocuting the duck until he passed out. Honestly, he deserved it.

Kitty: This is going to be a loooooong ride... Isn't it...

Riku and Sora: Absolutely.

Goofy: Gwarsh, I'm really sorry about Donald. He can be having a temper at times, but he means no harm to you. None of us do.

Sora: Beg to differ about the "Means no harm" part.

Riku: Donald has a big temper and can snap at almost any moment really.

Kitty: Guys... Not helping...

Neuron Commander: Just... Just take them down to the holding cells for now... I need a drink...

As I began cursing Sora and Riku to infinity and beyond right now in my head, and realizing this is only the start of all the cursing going to be happening in my head during this world, the Neuron officers began taking everyone down into the custody cells.

Location: Neuron HQ, Custody Cells

As we were all put into our own separate cells, Donald and Goofy in theirs, Sora and Riku put together while I was left in a cell alone, I began to shout.

Kitty: Can I ask you all... Except for Goofy and Jiminy... What part of not causing trouble you don't understand....? I was hoping to be able to show we are not enemies, now I have no idea what they'll think of us...!

Riku: What? We're just stating the truth of what we said.

Sora: Wouldn't you WANT us to tell the truth?

Kitty: We are dealing with the police, you dumbos! Do you think making it seem like we can't be trusted is going to really help us right now? I told you we need ALLIES, not more enemies!

Goofy: But aren't they police though? Wouldn't they still lock us up for security measures anyway Kitty?

Kitty: They would. But we haven't even been able to talk to them, explain we didn't mean to land on the building. We're not exactly seen as people going through a crash landing, we're seen now as a threat unless we clear this up.

As we were talking about this, we began hearing footsteps and some talking.

???: Let me deal with them. I'm just checking if they're hurt from the landing. I am a Doctor, so it's my job to make sure anyone hurt is treated.

???: Just be careful, Brenda. We have no idea who they are, or why they even landed here.

Hearing the name of one of the main characters in the game, I nearly pressed myself against the glass window as someone more peaceful was finally showing themselves. Before they came though, I explained to the group quickly who was coming.

Kitty: Listen, as I can only say this once. This is Brenda, the Neuron Doctor and one of the kindest people to know. I'm assuming the other is Olive, the dispatcher and radio communicator who sends the people on missions. Please... Do not make it worse and risk losing their trust...

As I waited in silence for an answer, the two new idiots decided to toy around with my emotions for once.

Riku & Sora: We only promise to try.

Having to remain calm before the idiots really did need help from Brenda from their heads bonked, I said one last thing before the two people came.

Kitty: Learn to be good, don't be idiots!!

And with that, silence reigned until the newcomers came around. And I was right in my assumptions. The first person to come around is Brenda Moreno. She has short blue hair, and green eyes. She wears a white long coat with a white turtleneck shirt that reaches down to her thighs wearing a pair of stockings and black heels. You'll often see her carrying around a clipboard, with a Lappy logo on it. I remember Jammy writing a story on Astral Chain as a sequel. Really want to continue reading that honestly.

The other person to arrive is Olive Espinosa. She has long and wavy pink hair, and blue eyes. Her outfit consists of a white crop top, with a black fishnet shirt underneath and a fishnet skirt. Her shoes are black heels with buckles going up the legs, with white platforms. She wears a gold bangle, a watch, a gold earring and a communications device for accessories.

Being very honest, Olive is one of the best characters that I wanted to meet, having a sort of crush when learning more about her when playing the game.

Brenda: So... From the report... There is a Duck, a Dog, two boys and one female that came from a strange looking ship that crash landed on the landing zone up above... Yet, when asked to come out, they were able to without much hesitation... I call that very strange...

Olive: Stranger things have been happening recently. But it's still strange how this happened after a crash... How would it be possible to come out of a ship like that...?

Goofy: We usually don't crash ma'am. We're usually more careful.

In being answered that question, Olive looked at Goofy as she looked at Brenda.

Olive: Did... Did you hear that...?

Brenda: Yes... Even though I didn't believe the "Talking Dog and Duck" part... Now I do...

Olive: Somehow things are getting even stranger than Lappy. Things are really being shaken up around here.

Brenda: Couldn't have said it better than myself, Olive... Well with the report being confirmed as true, even the dog and duck, all that's left is checking for injuries.

It was first Donald and Goofy getting checked for injuries. Well no surprise Donald had injuries after being tasered by two officers, leaving some scorched feathers. At least something is going right and he's still passed out, just so he didn't freak out about his feathers. Goofy didn't have any injuries, just a little shaken up from the crash. After Goofy was finished getting checked up, Brenda came to me next.

Brenda: So, who might you be?

Kitty: Nice to meet you, my name is Kitty. Sorry for causing all this trouble for you.

Brenda: Not at all. Just hope the others weren't too rough.

Kitty: They were just doing their job. It was to be expected with a random ship crash landed on a private building.

Brenda nodded her head as she looked at me as if analyzing me.

Brenda: And just how do you know this is a private building?

Kitty: Had some suspicions with being surrounded by people in what looked like a police uniform. Only confirmed with it being said through a megaphone.

Brenda: Right. Of course. It would be that obvious. Now, may I check for any injuries?

While mentally sighing in relief there didn't seem to be any suspicion right now, I nodded at Brenda's question. There wasn't any point stopping her from doing her job, and I might have banged my head too hard on the wall, it's really starting to hurt.

Brenda: Why are you wearing a tail and cat ears? Are you cosplaying as a Neko?

Not expecting this question, I blinked before smiling sheepishly while rubbing my head.

Kitty: Hehe... Umm... They're real...

In being answered that question, Brenda and Olive looked at me as if I was joking.

Brenda: That... Can't be... Right? The ears have to be a headband and the tail a type of belt loop or tie on, right?

Kitty: To be blunt, they are real. And honestly, is it really much of a shock compared to the duck and dog talking and walking?

Brenda: Well... You don't normally see a person as a cat everyday on the ARK. So, I would say yes.

Kitty: Touche...

Brenda: Mind if I pull on the tail for confirmation?

And it would be the tail... Now I understand how Sion felt with Kirito. But understanding it's a shock, I just nodded. Getting the go ahead to test the tail, Brenda gave a slight tug. With it being one of my sensitive appendages, I let out a sound like a cat would make.

Kitty: Nya~!!

Groaning, I buried my face in my hands and wished the ground would just swallow me up right now. Just glad the original two idiots aren't here, or I'd never hear the end of it.

Kitty: Sorry about that...

Without warning, I then felt hands on my ears as I began to purr unintentionally as I looked to see it was Olive who was doing it to me from behind!

Kitty: H-Hey?! Wh-What are you doing~?!

If the ground does not swallow me up soon, I am going to need to find ways to hide this damn blush that has betrayed my emotions right now! Damn traitor blush!!

Olive: Oh... My God... They really are real.

Brenda: How is this even possible...?

Kitty: Genetics, experiments, just one of the random things to happen...? Many speculations on how it can be possible...

Brenda: But how is it to you more commonly?

Kitty: Huh? What do you mean?

Olive: She means if you were... Born like this?

I thought about it, before shrugging.

Kitty: Honestly never really thought about it... I guess so...?

The two looked at me and then to each other as they were very confused by this whole thing entirely. Out of the crazy things, it felt Goofy and Donald were more normal here than me. And the funny part was that I'm part human!

Kitty: Sorry I can't really give a better explanation... But if it's possible, can I ask who you two are, and where exactly we are?

Looking at me, the two seemed to think I was trusting enough.

Brenda: You are at the police station as we are basically just making sure you aren't dangerous. My name is Doctor Brenda Moreno. I help ensure those injured are able to get back out to the field in a reasonable manner.

Olive: And my name is Olive Espinosa. I'm the dispatcher and radio communicator stationed here in this building.

I looked at them as I nodded my head as I figured they're hiding the biggest secret of all was that this place was Neuron HQ. A secret police where they investigate Chimeras that come from the Astral Plane. But despite knowing that, I had no idea what was even going to happen to the others right now. And that was the most terrifying thought...

Kitty: So if we're not seen as dangerous, what will happen? And are my friends going to be okay...?

Brenda: That's... Not up for us to decide.

Olive: We... Never had a case where someone dropped from the sky and landed on the base. It's... Really strange.

Kitty: Guess there really is a first time for everything to happen, that saying really is true. Thank you for the help though and answering my questions.

I tried keeping my spirits high with this and at least having some answers, but it was really hard not to want to break down right now. Barely even started as leader, and everything that can go wrong, is going wrong. Brenda and Olive decided that it was time to check on Riku and Sora as when they were out of sight, I quickly went to the bench as I felt I was almost about to throw up with how nervous I was. Deep breaths, just need to breathe. I didn't pay attention to what was talked about with Sora and Riku, but I was just... Really nervous... With being held in custody, the only thing I can see happening was going to be meeting the commander to explain everything, who's the last person I want to see. After Sora and Riku were done being checked up, Brenda and Olive stopped in front of my cell to read off the report.

Brenda: Everyone seems to be in good condition. There's just... One slight problem.

I paled at the sound of that as I wondered what went wrong.

Brenda: Based on the cells that you all are staying in... There has been a... "Secret" scanner.

Kitty: And... What does it do...?

Olive: To answer that question... It scans for Red Matter.

I widened my eyes as a screen came down to show all of us in perfect and healthy condition with no traces of slight Red Matter. With how the Ark was formed, no one is ever safe from that stuff. Even us. And with there being none, there was a big problem with that.

Kitty: Wh-What is "Red Matter"?

I had to begin playing a fools game to try and persuade them that I didn't know what they were talking about.

Brenda: Red Matter is a substance that contaminates people. The fact that most citizens, if not some being infected with it, that's normal as some areas are more dense in terms of exposure.

Goofy: But that's good, right?

Brenda: In normal circumstances, yes. But for you five? You're completely clear of it. Something that is HIGHLY impossible.

I began freaking out in my head as they were questioning us about this as I knew that crap was gonna blow up on their radar!! Gotta find a way to get this calm, before we get in an even worse situation...!

Brenda: It is also because of this, that our commander wishes to talk to you as well.

Kitty: (For the love of all things...! What did I do to upset this entire damn UNIVERSE?! I wanted ONE THING!!)

With the cell doors opening, we all exited out our cells with Donald being on Goofy's shoulder due to still being out cold. Just how badly was he tasered...? Being led upstairs through the elevator, we were even escorted by officers as well since they were under orders to bring us up. I have a very bad feeling about this...

Location: Neuron HQ, Commander's Office.

After getting off the elevator, the five of us were still being escorted by the police as some looked at us strangely. I was covering my ears with my hair the best I could, as I felt like I was being stared at because of them. Really need to get a hat... But more important issues right now. After turning a corner, my blood ran cold as I could see someone I really did not want to meet in this world above all else. Feeling a tap on my shoulder, Riku was the one who gained my attention.

Riku: You okay?

Kitty: Yeah... Just... Wishing we didn't have to be here...

After entering the offices that had Neuron police men and women working at the desks, one person was above all else in that room that I was on high alert. Yoseph Calvert. He is an older man with medium-length gray hair and dark green eyes. He has a short mustache and beard, and wears square-rimmed glasses. He wears a brown, plaid suit, with a dress shirt and red tie. He wears simple black dress shoes. On top of his suit, he wears a long, pale-brown coat with a very large block-patterned collar, with a matching pattern down the front of the coat and on the sleeve cuffs.

I was screaming on the inside, but just keeping neutral on the outside. Didn't want to cause trouble by calling him all the names I wanted to say. When being put to stand at attention in front of his desk, I was the one in the middle directly in front of him.

Yoseph: So, these are the five?

Brenda: Yes, sir.

Putting a hand under his chin, Yoseph looked at each of us carefully.

Yoseph: Quite interesting... Yet strange.

Strange is going to be SOUNDING strange if everyone keeps saying it... As I thought this, it was Goofy breaking the silence in the group.

Goofy: What's strange?

Yoseph looked at Goofy and was about to question the same thing like Brenda did.

Brenda: Yes... The bipedal dog can talk sir...

Yoseph: And here I thought the report was done by someone incompetent...

Brenda: It was not. I can assure you of that... It can be assumed the same can be said for the duck too with the talking.

Yoseph: Yes... With the dog that can talk, that would most certainly be true too... What a strange group of people before me... Two talking animals, two kids, and a woman cosplaying a cat.

Brenda: Um sir...

Yoseph was told to lean closer to her to whisper into his ear probably about me. Being told I was cosplaying made me very irritated in being mistaken for a cosplayer, but Yoseph looked at me and then Brenda.

Brenda: Trust me, she is.

Must resist the eye roll... But remember to get a hat and soon... With the talk of the whole strangeness and high alert about driving me insane, I couldn't be more relieved for Sora saying something this once.

Sora: Can you at least tell us why you wanted to talk to us? We get it, we're an unusual group, but that doesn't seem to be the point.

Yoseph: Straight to the point hmm?? Very well...

Leaning forward on his desk, he looked at me directly when he asked this question. Got to be real careful answering these questions, Yoseph is manipulative and one slip up answering could be a downfall.

Yoseph: So... Where did you get the ship?

Kitty: One of the people we know made it for us. Highly skilled guy, no idea what we would do without him.

Yoseph: And is he among you right now?

Kitty: No. He decided to stay behind.

Yoseph: Then how do we know the ship that landed is not stolen?

Kitty: When we can get the systems back up, a personal navigator is installed. When we call its name, it greets us as its friends and by our names.

Yoseph: So the ship has an Artificial Intelligence?

Olive: Those are really rare to come by!

Kitty: It was a big surprise to us too. We never even knew our friend had one of them until he told us it was installed on the ship.

Yoseph: Hmm... Fair enough, I suppose.

Who knew resisting an eye roll was so hard? You don't have to add the I suppose at the end! Keep calm, just think calm thoughts like this interrogation should be over soon.

Yoseph: Next question... How long have you had the ship?

I had to think about this one, trying to think of how long we really had it.

Kitty: It's been... Roughly a few weeks or a month? I'll be completely honest, none of us have really kept track of how long we had it for, so it's just an estimate.

Yoseph: And how have we never seen it during that time. Surely it would have been picked up by us to track down?

Kitty: I completely agree, and I wish I could give an answer as to why it's not been seen. We don't have anything to keep it hidden, so I'm sorry, but truly I do not know.

Yoseph didn't like my answer to that as he looked at me.

Yoseph: So, a ship just comes out of nowhere that you've been flying for a month without us knowing, and you don't know why at all?

Despite feeling fear rising as I had no idea how he would react, I looked at Yoseph directly as I answered.

Kitty: Check the whole ship. Look for anything you think could be suspicious, but I truly do not know.

Yoseph looked at me as I didn't falter in my statement to him.

Yoseph: What are you using that ship for exactly?

I had a feeling it was coming, but it still hit hard in my heart with worry. For all our missing loved ones.

Kitty: It's... Because we're trying to find our loved ones...

Yoseph: Oh? How so?

Kitty: We got separated. We all came together because we all lost someone close to us, and began working together because of the same goal.

Yoseph: And that consists of you, two kids and two animals that can talk?

Kitty: Yes. It all seemed strange to us at first too. We make the.. Most unique group, but work together well enough.

Yoseph: Yes... VERY unique indeed. Which brings to another VERY unique topic. Just how did you all survive a crash on impact? The crash didn't happen very softly, yet you all came out unscathed. No broken bones, no loss of blood. Those odds of everyone making it out alive is a million to one. How did you all get out of that after crashing?

Kitty: The only things I could think of is our friend made a VERY strong ship or we have some really good luck. Honestly, I'm more grateful everyone is still alive to have even thought how we did survive.

Yoseph: "Luck"? You're basing your crash on a term called "luck"??? Luck had nothing to do with a crash. Had that been a normal aircraft, everyone would have died on it. Yours barely survives with substantial damage done to it, and yet you all are alive. How do you bring that to luck???

Kitty: I bring it down to luck because of surviving. To luck that we didn't have to risk landing on the ground, because we would not be here talking in that case. We have had a few crashes before, and did not come out without injuries. And if the only thing we can put down surviving, to have been able to land on the building instead of the ground is luck, then so be it. We have been holding onto luck and hope the whole time, because it's what keeps us going. Sometimes... The ONLY thing keeping us going that all the travel to different sectors is not for nothing.

Yoseph looked at me and wanted to ask something else, but before he could, alarms began to ring out as a call came into the base here at Neuron. It was Akira, the sibling to the main character. Female or Male depending on who you choose to play as.

Akira (Radio): All units! We've got eyes on Jena! I repeat! We have sighting of Jena in the town square!

As the group looked confused on who Jena is, I had to put up the act to look confused with them. But I know exactly who Jena was. A previous scientist, working closely on research about Chimeras and Legions. But after a... Disagreement 20 years ago, she wasn't really heard from again. It's speculated after the fight, she just disappeared. But I know that the person she had a disagreement with sealed her away in an Astral Plane, where the Chimeras come from. She's strong willed and if not careful, can be extremely dangerous. And the person who causes her to be put into there... Is right in this room and no one knows about it. But this was no time to focus on the past, I need to focus now and learn about the events going on. At least then I can know how far into the game we really are.

Akira (Radio): Wh-What the!? Damn! I got separated from my brother! He's fighting high above against a Homunculus!!

Though I kept up the act, inside I just shattered in fear. This is chapter 9, where a real face is revealed, betrayal happens and death is upon us... But when playing the game, you'd be fighting the Homunculus right now. But since we're in the ARK, I have no idea what is going to happen! Ugh, why does everything have to go wrong?! Before we could worry about that though, a gasp and yell was heard from Olive.

Olive: What are those creatures?!

Looking at where Olive is, I hissed under my breath seeing the Heartless. Just can't catch a break! Before she could get attacked though, Sora jumped into action and got out his Keyblade. Just as the Heartless was about to strike, Sora got there in time to knock it away from Olive.

Sora: Oh no you don't!

I could see that Yoseph has a look of deep thought on his face, making the bad feeling get worse. But seeing another Heartless ready to attack from the side, I got my Keyblade out fast and defeated it before it could try anything. I may not have respect for Yoseph, but doesn't mean he needs to be attacked by the Heartless.

Kitty: Sorry for the sudden attack, I hope I didn't hit you.

Yoseph: You didn't, but you have my respect. What are those weapons you and he are carrying?

Kitty: Confidential I'm sorry, but some things can't be told. I believe it's the same with police work?

I could tell Yoseph didn't like stuff being kept from him. But it's not like I'm the only one keeping secrets around here. Moving away from Yoseph, I focused on dealing with the Heartless along with Sora. It was lucky that there wasn't a lot to deal with, and sorted easily with us two. But something is telling me this was too easy. Like they were only there as a distraction...

Goofy: Did anyone get hurt?

Brenda: No one seems to be hurt at all, which is a relief.

Olive: But then it still leaves my question from before, WHAT are those creatures?! They look like nothing ever seen here before.

Riku: They're called Heartless. They either take or feed on people's hearts to get stronger.

Hearing that aloud like this... Even dealing with Chimeras sounds better. And looks like everyone else agrees from all the horrified looks.

Yoseph: Take or feed on people's hearts...?

Brenda: How... How horrible...

Kitty: Short and simple, let us handle it.

Yoseph still looked to have been deep in thought, the bad feeling only growing more and more each second. But wanting to get the focus of the Keyblades and Heartless before any more questions are asked, I put on a fake worried look as I asked.

Kitty: With the Heartless attacking like that, things got quite... Out of control. But there was this radio call about someone called Jena?

Olive: H-Huh? Oh! Right. Um... Jena is... Someone that should have disappeared many years ago, but we found her... But not in a way anyone would have seen.

The group was just growing more confused, Goofy the one to ask what they were wondering.

Goofy: What do you mean by that, ma'am?

Sora: If she's some sort of enemy, we could help you!

Olive: No! This threat is something that none of you are prepared for!!

Kitty: You won't even give us a chance after we showed we can fight!

I covered my mouth as I didn't expect that to come out of nowhere.

Kitty: I'm sorry... I tend to get worried easily for everyone's safety, and if Jena is a big threat, then isn't it better to have all the help possible?

Riku: It's just one lady. How bad can she be that dangerous?

I gave a stare to Riku as I was reminding him of what I did when Jammy was riddled with Darkness. Not really liking this threat, but Jena was a MUCH bigger one. Our attention went to Yoseph though, who was silent throughout this talk when deciding to speak up.

Yoseph: Jena is one of the most difficult people to work with, she sees her way and her way only. And she would do anything she needed to do to see things go to her plans. She is not to be taken lightly, and she won't hesitate any harm.

Riku took the sensible route, remaining silent at learning about how dangerous Jena really is. Sora however... Needs to stop being a dummy...

Sora: But that's just more reason for us to help! Shouldn't it?! If there are more people that can help, the better our chances!

Counting to 10 in my head to calm down before yelling to Sora he is an idiot, I stopped my counting when my blood ran cold hearing Yoseph's next words.

Yoseph: If you really want to help, then prove that you would be able to help in a fight with Jena.

Sora: Really? How can we do that?

Yoseph looked at Sora when he asked this question, looking serious as he spoke.

Yoseph: By training. If you show us your strength, then you can help if we think you've proven yourself. And wake the duck up. I think it has been sleeping long enough.

I could only think of one way to wake Donald up, and he wouldn't like it. But I really didn't care as I looked at Goofy.

Kitty: Goofy, would you mind putting Donald down for a moment?

As Goofy put Donald down, I headed over. Grabbing onto just a single feather, I plucked it out fast. And as expected, Donald woke up with a startle.

Donald: WHO IS DOING SOMETHING TO MY FEATHERS?!

Quickly handing the feather to Sora, I quickly came up with a lie.

Kitty: Sora did it.

Sora: WHAAAAAAT!?

Donald was about as red as fire magic right now, looking ready to cause an inferno with said magic right now. But before he could though, Olive and Brenda both spoke at the same time.

Olive and Brenda: Any more talking animals...?

Goofy: Gwarsh, I'm pretty sure it's just us two.

As Goofy said this while trying to hold Donald back before he could do anything to Sora, Yoseph got the attention back to the main subject. Hey, got to give points to him for getting things on track.

Yoseph: Well now that things are confirmed with the talking duck-

Donald: MY NAME IS DONALD!

I quietly looked at Donald with a stare that screamed "If you screw what I've done up in keeping us safe, I will END YOU!!!" More or less than what I was thinking. Yoseph didn't seem too phased by the yell, continuing what he was saying.

Yoseph: -I believe now is a good time to see your skills. We've seen some with those weapons two carry, but we'll need to see more. We cannot risk you facing Jena if you are not going to be safe or well prepared.

I looked at Yoseph when hearing this, but instead was wondering just how insane he really is. Did he just ACTUALLY temporarily hire us into Neuron...? Sora didn't even seem to mind, looking as if he was about to jump in excitement. Well, no point saying anything then if he's this excited right now. No way it would go down well fighting against Yoseph right now, and I need to know what he wants.

Sora: Well then, we'll show you just how well we can fight and help you against any threat!

Riku: Hold on...

Riku stopped Sora from getting too excited as he seemed to be cautious about all of this.

Riku: You want to have two people test what they can do for you just because a couple of Heartless show up? Why?

Riku is very much becoming my favorite team member right now, because this was a good question. As I looked back at Yoseph, he looked serious still. But there was a look in his eyes of planning something.

Yoseph: Why else but to see what skills there are? Everyone is welcome to join the training of course, but I would not want to have anyone fighting if they would be too at risk when safety is most important.

Riku: Yet, you seemed focused on just Sora and Kitty. We travel with them, so we have our own share of struggles with them. Sorry, but demonstrating their powers in a place like this when your city is under attack is out of the question at the moment.

Olive looked at Riku and then to Yoseph with her own worries.

Olive: I don't like to say this, but the boy is correct, Sir... Trying to make sure the residents on the A.R.K is much more important than running some tests...

Yoseph looked annoyed at how Riku butted in on his offer as I could see the look he secretly gave to Riku.

Yoseph: Fine. But, if I may ask, could you stay and help protect us in case more of those... "Heartless" attack?

Riku didn't seem to like the idea much right now and wanted to say something, but I interrupted.

Kitty: We'll be happy to help. It's the least we can do for you after causing a disturbance.

After saying this, I glanced at Riku and mouthed that we'll talk later. I need to give him an explanation about this, because I do not want to risk losing any chances to learn what Yoseph wants from us.

Location: Garage

Wandering around the building, I came across the garage where all the special vehicles are at. When I look towards a specific one in general, my eyes widen at the sight of it. It was the bike that the main character rides in certain sequences where you were able to go at high speed down the roads during emergencies and it looked awesome!

Kitty: Damn, that looks fun to ride.

I walked towards the bike as I wanted to feel it a little, but Donald of course lays a hand on mine.

Donald: And what do you think you're doing?

Kitty: Should be asking you the same thing.

Donald: You're thinking of riding that thing. Aren't you?

Kitty: Does it seem like I would know how to ride this? I'm just looking, dodo brain.

Donald looked at me with annoyance.

Donald: Well excuse me for being cautious! You dumb boy friend always seems to just do whatever he wants!!!

I growled under my breath, trying to keep calm as I looked directly at Donald.

Kitty: At least Jammy knows what he's doing and can lead a team. And as a matter of fact, I was the one having to get us out of trouble YOU helped cause making us seem like dangerous people when you yelled at the police!

Donald: Don't you even dare when your boy friend just seems he can just run a team when he doesn't take things seriously!!!

Kitty: At least some people know how to use people's names! And he is a good leader, because he knows how to actually help his team stay safe... Unlike a duck who only knows how to get on people's nerves.

Donald: Excuse you!? You want to repeat tha-!?

Before Donald could say another word, I decided to freeze him in a block of ice and cut him off from his talk. No wonder Nintega and Jammy take great pride in doing this. It's doing everyone a service here.

Kitty: Perfect for someone as cold hearted as you. Now, be good Karen, a kitty has to be curious now~

Enjoying the peace for a moment, I looked back at the bike and admired how cool it looked up close. Honestly, I almost really wished I could ride this. But in trying not to cause any trouble myself, I held back the urge. I don't really have money for repairing the building from any crashes... If I could take this for a ride right now, I wonder how fast I could take this down a speeding highway? When I was lost in my thoughts, I was about to think about something else when hearing a voice behind me.

???: Are you lost little lady?

Kitty: "Little lady"? Who is calling me a- AH!!!

Getting scared by what I saw, I jumped in shock and almost tripped over the bike when looking behind me. Whoever says cats always land on their feet... You suck... They do not always land on their feet... When looking behind me, I saw a giant dog costume of the police's mascot, Lappy the Dog.

Lappy: Are you okay!? I didn't mean to scare you like that!

Kitty: Don't sneak up on others, and we're cool... Umm... Who are you though?

I knew the answer, it was just to make sure I wasn't sus. Realizing what I just said, I hate those Among Us memes!!

Lappy: Well, I'm Lappy!

Kitty: Nice to meet you, Lappy.

Lappy: What brings a woman like you around down here now?

Kitty: Sorry if I'm not meant to be down here. I was just wandering around the building, and came across the garage.

Lappy: Did you want a tour with your... pet duck?

I glanced at Donald, steam about coming out of the ice from his ever rising anger. Even his muffled yell was still loud as the ice was melting around his bill.

Donald: I AM NOBODY'S PET!!

Rolling my eyes, I looked back at Lappy with a sheepish smile.

Kitty: It may seem strange hearing a talking duck... Sorry about his attitude...

Lappy looked at me and tilted his head, the person under the suit is Marie Wentz, another officer of this building with a... Strange fixation to a dog suit everyone calls Lappy. Even though everyone knows that Marie is under the suit, I'm not brave enough to burst her bubbles like that...

Lappy: But, I'm a talking dog. Should that come as a surprise as well?

Kitty: Not really a shock. You're the second talking dog I know now.

Hearing that, I was about to turn around when Lappy quickly grabbed my shoulders and pulled me close to look into one of his eyes!

Lappy: WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S ANOTHER TALKING DOG!?

I was in shock when being grabbed like this, unsure what to say at this moment.

Kitty: It... Means there's another talking dog...?

Lappy began to step back and then looked to a corner and sat down.

Lappy: D-Did Lappy get replaced without knowing...?

And should have kept my mouth shut... Heading over to Lappy, I knelt down to look into his eyes... Well really an eye.

Kitty: The other talking dog, Goofy, is my friend. He's not here to replace anyone, he'd be more excited to meet you. I doubt anyone could replace you, Lappy!

I heard some sniffling as Lappy looked towards me and got a little closer. How am I being intimidated by a girl wearing a dog costume!?

Lappy: R-Really...? I'm not being replaced...?

Kitty: No way! I heard some people talking about someone called Lappy, but it was all kind words. No way anyone would replace you.

Lappy looked at me in my eyes as I felt a sudden shift of emotion happen with the individual.

Lappy: Then that makes good ol'e Lappy happy! Hearing he isn't being replaced is such a sweet thing~

Well people may think Lappy is a bit... Unusual, but Marie is still really sweet. And you can tell people do care not to tell her everyone knows who she is. But with her being happy again like this, maybe the tour wouldn't be so bad to get used to this place.

Kitty: If it's not going to be a problem, is it still possible to get a tour? This place is huge, it would be great to have an expert helping learn about it.

Hearing about wanting a tour, Lappy quickly got up and saluted.

Lappy: A tour is always grated! Whenever you're ready, I will be there to explain the area a bit better for you!

I smiled, glad to see her happy like this again. And with the tour, at least I'm going to be getting lost so easily.

Kitty: Thanks, Lappy! I'll be ready for a tour whenever you're free to do one.

Lappy: You're welcome!

With our talk ended, Lappy began to make their way out of the area just as Donald broke free from the ice.

Donald: QUIT FREEZING ME!!!

I groaned when hearing Donald speaking again, speaking my thoughts aloud.

Kitty: Learn not to be such a pain or get on everyone's nerves, then you won't keep getting frozen!!

Donald: Oh, so I'm supposed to befriend everyone here, is that it?

I had to keep calm, because otherwise I'd be getting myself thrown into jail for a lifetime if I killed the duck right now.

Kitty: No... What you need to do is shut up and do as I say. We are in one of the most dangerous parts of the game, and if you value your life you will NOT. RISK. ANYTHING! Do not yell at any of the people here, especially Yoseph.

Donald: Oh yeah? Why not?

I was being careful and made sure no one was around to listen, before getting close to Donald and speaking very quietly.

Kitty: Yoseph is not as he appears to be. Right now, I need you to do nothing but listen until I know what exactly he's planning.

Donald: What? Are you sure??

I glared at Donald for this comment, barely holding my own anger back right now. I hate Donald, but I'm doing everything I can to keep everyone safe, including him.

Kitty: I wouldn't be lying about this at all... I can't say much right now without knowing all plans, but do not give Yoseph ANY info if not needed. His true face will be seen soon...

Donald gave me a look as if trying to expect something, but sighed.

Donald: If you're at least more reliable than Jammy is with his recklessness, fine...

I wanted to say something with his comment about Jammy. But with at least having some trust from Donald, I couldn't risk losing that right now.

Kitty: Thank you, Donald. Once everyone regroups, I can explain as much as I can and try answering any questions.

Donald: You better. It's hard enough I trust Jammy with his flying, but then we got an AI that flies just like him.

???: Well, excuuuuuuuuuse me, Duck. I tried to fly away from those robots. Not like I wanted any of this.

Both me and Donald jumped in fright from the sudden voice, looking at each other confused.

Donald: Did that voice sound like...

Kitty: Wayfinder...?

Wayfinder (AI): Hey, chuckle heads. Over here!

Donald and Kitty: WHO ARE YOU CALLING CHUCKLE HEADS?!

Wayfinder (AI): ME OF COURSE!!!

Kitty: You're calling yourself a chuckle head? Huh, good to know we have a nickname for you now.

Even though this was a serious situation, hearing Wayfinder made things a lot better knowing we still have it. But hearing my comment, I glanced at Donald when he was about to fall on the floor from laughter. Heh, maybe he isn't so bad after all. When looking for Wayfinder, we happened to see him near some squad cars meant for groundwork for the police. Even though he was a ship, he apparently was "grounded". Bleh... That was lame...

Wayfinder (AI): Oh haha, how very funny. At least I noticed you two, unlike you both too lost to even look at your surroundings. A miracle you all survived with that lack of awareness. At least I had a good sense to map the building out using sonic pulses to map out the surrounding area and install nano chip trackers on you.

I was going to say something about the map, before my focus went to the nanochips. Donald seemed to have the same thought, both of us looking annoyed.

Kitty: Nanochips?!

Donald: When did you even do that?!

Wayfinder (AI): Oh don't tell me Cid didn't tell you about that as well?? Fine. Guess he wouldn't to make me explain. You see, when looking at the last recordings of my black box, he noticed that we either went our separate ways or decided to go hide in mysterious places. So, to counter that, he installed a system for new arrivals to get chips secretly inhaled that uses the body to send off signals of the current location they are in. Doing so will give precise location and if I can't map an area with my pulses, the tracker acts as a sonic remote pinger to map the areas as you all go. As for why he left it to me, probably because he was trying to keep your safeties in mind due to your current situations, like right now. I can see Riku looking at the city from the helicopter platform, Goofy coming across that Lappy chick, and Sora... Well, let's just say some moments are private~ Hahaha~

I felt numerous tick marks growing, understanding why Donald has trouble containing his anger at times now.

Kitty: Great... Stalker robots wanting to kill us... And now a stalker AI we have to live with...

Wayfinder (AI): STALKER!?

Donald: I'm going to have a word with Cid next time I see him...

Wayfinder (AI): Hey!! Do you think I wanted this to happen!? It was meant to keep you all safe considering all your relationships are kinda dodgy in terms of teamwork and communication! Cid was just trying to make sure everyone was safe! And being the AI traveling with you all, it's a ship's duty to ensure all safe travel for those traveling in my body right now!

I sighed hearing this, taking deep breaths to calm down. Wayfinder did nothing wrong, this whole situation just has nerves too on edge.

Kitty: Sorry, I'm sorry Wayfinder. This whole thing is just a big mess and keeping all nerves on edge. The trackers are really helpful, that was a good idea from Cid. And just glad to know everyone is safe, even though the mystery of what Sora is doing... Okay, yeah, that is best left alone thinking about it...

Wayfinder (AI): Good. Now, as for damage assessment... It'll be a while for repairs to do their work... Though, some people tried to get onto the ship a while ago before you all came here. They couldn't open the doors to the ship as they had unauthorized access. Why would they want to do that by chance???

I had to think about this, trying to understand why myself. It could have just been to check for internal damage if working on repairs, or something else.

Kitty: Did you get an idea of who these people look like?

Wayfinder (AI): No clue. All I know is that they had black armor with a title called "Raven" on them. They were trying to break into me by force or something. But when they heard the elevator going off, they ran for the hills like no one's business.

My eyes widened hearing the word "Raven", causing me to begin pacing around while panicking.

Kitty: Nonononononono! This is not right! They shouldn't even be appearing yet!!! Yoseph, what the fuck have you done?!

Donald: What do you know about this world Kitty!?

I looked at Donald, tears glazing my sight from fear I couldn't hold back anymore.

Kitty: We need to get the group together NOW! I'll explain then, but with being separated like this, everyone is at huge risk! Wayfinder, do you have any way of calling the group to come here?!

Wayfinder (AI): As a matter of fact, I may have opened a communication line with you to the others. I bet they're confused as to why they hear us right now~

Riku (Communication): Why am I hearing both Kitty and Wayfinder!?

Goofy (Communication): Yikes! Am I hearing ghosts!?

Sora (Communication): Why are you all shouting!?

Kitty: Oh great... Even a phone line in a pinch, I presume?

Wayfinder (AI): What? Think of it as... The future~

If I wasn't in such a panic, I would have numerous things to say to Wayfinder. But ignoring the last comment, I used the communication line to talk to everyone.

Kitty: I'm sorry for the confusion, but I need everyone to come to the garage immediately! I promise to explain everything then, and be careful if you see anyone wearing black armor. If you do, do NOT fight them! I repeat! DO NOT FIGHT THEM!

Sora (Communication): Um... Sadly... I don't think I'll have that choice...

Kitty: Please for the love of everything... Do not say you are surrounded by them...

Silence is all I could hear before Sora began to speak again.

Sora (Communication): Is it that obvious...?

Kitty: Ugh... I'm going to kill Yoseph myself...! Okay, change of plans... Just try to get away from them if possible and we'll all get to you...!

Sora (Communications): That's... Going to be hard... Because right now... There's four of them...

I widened my eyes in panic as I was trying to think why this was happening to begin with! Thinking about what all was said, I came to a realization.

Kitty: Yoseph...! You sick bastard!! Ugh...! Okay... Just don't do anything and listen if they tell you to do something. More than likely, they'll be taking you back to Yoseph, either the commander room or the training area. Goofy and Riku, go to the training area and tell me if Sora is taken there. If not, meet me and Donald in the commander room. I have a bad feeling if Sora isn't taken to the training area...

Riku (Communication): What!? What will happen to Sora!?

I went silent myself, before speaking quietly.

Kitty: Some things are better left untold unless events happen...

Riku (Communication): Ugh!! Fine! But if something happens to Sora, I can't hold any promises of what I'll do to that guy!!!

After Riku said that, I then felt that a connection was severed as if hanging up. With no time to waste, I disconnected on my end and looked at Donald.

Kitty: We need to move now. Sora is in danger.

With leaving Donald no time to respond, I immediately headed for the elevator and blinked the tears away. No time for tears when there's a demonic human needing to meet death. But before me or Donald could get into the elevator, we glanced back when hearing Wayfinder yell a warning.

Wayfinder (AI): KITTY! DONALD!! ON YOUR SIX!!!

Quickly looking behind me, I saw two Raven units as one summoned a Raven Sword legion to be sent our way. I didn't have time to register the shock as Star Platinum quickly launched himself to block the strike and deliver a punch back at the legion to force it back into cube mode. With seeing the legions, I can summarize that with having a special energy of my own, they became visible to my sight alone due to having Star Platinum as a base.

Donald: What just happened!?

Kitty: The ever so brutal Ravens are out for our capture. I'm lucky to see their legions, but you won't be able to...

Donald would be in danger if he can't see the Legions, but I don't know how many Ravens there are...!

Kitty: See if you can't meet up with the others, get to safety! Yoseph would only be after me and Sora specifically!

Donald: What!? You can't be serious about fighting these two alone! You need help...!

There it was again... "Needing help"... Those are words that have stung for a long time... But dodging a strike from a legion, there was no time to let them sting as I looked at Donald to push him into the elevator.

Kitty: There is no arguing on this...! You are more at risk staying! If cats have nine lives, then one of them has to have a fighter in them!

Dodging another strike and letting Star Platinum do the work, I pressed a button to go up standing outside of it.

Kitty: Get to Sora! I'll handle these guys!!

Turning away from Donald and hearing the ping from the elevator going up, I got my Keyblade out and twirled it around while looking at the Ravens.

Kitty: Now then.... Time to see what fight there really is~ You messed with the wrong person to pick on my friends... And now, you'll have to see what happens when you piss me off!

With Donald in safety, there was nothing stopping me from fighting. As Star Platinum stopped a punch from the Arm Legion, I moved behind it and casted Fira point blank range and enveloped the Legion in fire. The heat was too intense by the magic I had as it quickly returned to cube form. Being caught off guard from behind, I tried to quickly dodge, but got struck in my leg by claws from a Beast Legion. Moving away before I got clawed in my leg, I had to think fast. If I don't, Donald would have every right to say I need help...

Kitty: Beast, Arm and Sword.. Easy to assume there's the Arrow and Axe Legion too then...

The Arm Legion was best for physical attacks, mainly with punches but can easily lift heavy objects. The Beast can move fast, sharp claws but it's best use is movement. The Arrow can focus its aim to get the target, but it's a slow process. The sword can give multiple attacks at once. And the Axe for a limited time before needing to recharge can make a barrier. Before in the fight when you fought him to get him back under control, he could make multiple bombs. It could be the same now, or just one bomb at a time. They all need to recharge after being out of the Legatus for some time or too much damage, but that doesn't mean I could relax with two Ravens and different Legions. I could attack with magic, but I'd risk losing mana too fast if I constantly did that. And Melee attacks would be risky too with needing to get close, unless I could cause a distraction to get their guard down even slightly. But they can work together on attacks with their Legions, and easily tie someone with chains to block movements.

Kitty: (I really need to be more attentive to my surroundings. It's really dangerous to even fight four enemies when two are controlling creatures!)

I didn't get to think long as a Sword Legion was sent my way as I had to block a strike with it while Star Platinum pulled me to safety. I then looked up to see an Arrow Legion with their Raven aiming at me from above! With no time to react or dodge as the arrows shoot fast, I could only block my head with my arms. But when feeling nothing hitting me, I looked to see that Light magic was being used to make a shield. Only small, but enough to block the arrow at least. Seems instincts and emotions really are the key to getting the Light Form out. As I moved my arms away, the shield disappeared. There was relief not to be hit by the arrow, but If I keep focusing on the Legions though, I'm never going to get to the Ravens to end this fight...! Just like the Heartless, save enough energy to take down the big boss. Maybe if I can get Star Platinum to focus on the Legions, I could use the time to get in close. Or even use time stop, but I never used it before and wouldn't know how long I could use it for... If only I could get a way to do Melee att- I got it! Dodging strikes and running, well limping too from the cuts on my leg, to try and get some distance and make me a harder target to hit. Despite still getting struck and hit, along with almost falling from being punched by the Arm Legion, I focused on building Aero magic with my Keyblade. If I could at least get the Ravens in the air for a moment or two, I can attack one with Star Platinum focusing on the other!

Kitty: (Come on...! I can do this...! I can do this!!)

Watching the patterns of the Legions and the Ravens, I noticed the Ravens I was fighting were next to each other now as I quickly pointed my Keyblade towards them.

Kitty: Aero!

Casting the spell towards their feet, they then were propelled into the air towards the ceiling as they were planted against it by the pressure of the magic. Nodding to Star Platinum to throw me towards them, I began to soar in the air as Star Platinum rushed to keep up with me. When the magic began to disperse, the Ravens were about to regain their senses to fight, but not before Star Platinum and I collided our attacks to their stomachs to knock them back into walls with tremendous force. The attack they both received causes them to pass out as there was no fatal wound for what happened, but definitely will feel that later.

Kitty: Almost feel bad for them, but can't really due to them attacking me first.

As I checked to see how bad any of my injuries were, there was nothing bleeding badly or broken at least. Just mainly a sore bruise from the punch on my cheek, and the claw marks stinging on my leg. Deciding to deal with healing later, Sora was the main focus as I took the opportunity of the Ravens being passed out to get into the elevator and head out the Garage. Yoseph had better not have done anything to Sora... Or he'll be learning what true hell is... As the elevator doors opened with Donald at the door, he rushed out, but suddenly stopped and looked around.

Donald: WHAT HAPPENED HERE!?

Looking at Donald, I then looked back and sweated at the damage and chaos that anyone could guess could have happened. Guess I did more damage than I would have known...

Kitty: Fighting... Close quarters and trying to avoid numerous Legions... Not fun... Especially when you're being tag teamed... BUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! You are supposed to be with Sora!!!

Donald: As much as I hate to admit it... You're more stable than Jammy is. Trust me, that is as close as to me saying I appreciate your company.

Unsure whether I heard that right, or losing blood rapidly without realizing and hallucinating this, I looked at Donald with a blank stare.

Kitty: Please repeat that one more time. I thought you just said you appreciate someone's company other than Goofy or Jiminy.

I didn't even get a chance to think of anything else as Donald just healed me next.

Donald: Sora. Others. IN DANGER!!!

My eyes widened when hearing others in danger, grabbing onto Donald's shoulders and looking into his eyes.

Kitty: WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE OTHERS ARE IN DANGER?! Sora was the only one in danger!!!

Donald: The others got to Sora, but as I was just getting there, they were outmatched!! If I went in without a plan, I would be caught in the mix!!

Kitty: What the hell happened?! Did you get an idea of where they were taken to?! Was it just the Ravens there?!

Donald: Worse! Just as they had the others backed to the wall, the Commander showed up!

My eyes widened when hearing Yoseph was right with them as I looked at Donald.

Kitty: HOW LONG AGO!?

Donald: Five minutes! I tried to listen as much as I could, but then a Raven noticed me and I had to dive into a vent before finding a chance to ride the elevator back down!!

I let go of Donald's shoulders, thinking about what I was just told. Sora would be at the highest risk with having a Keyblade, Riku at risk too when stopping Yoseph's plans. I'm not sure what's going to happen to Goofy... But I know this needs to be stopped now.

Kitty: The Ravens... They were supposed to show up later, they are clones. When Akira, who we heard on the radio before, got injured by Jena, they were sent to the hospital to recover. But in the process, Yoseph took the chance to clone them. The Ravens are stronger versions of Legionists, and are supposed to be led by Akira. But Yoseph is in complete control... Each Raven has their own Legion, but it's still impossible for you to see them. I'll need you to stay close to me, and hide if fights happen with them. If you stuck around to fight, you'll need to focus on the Ravens themselves, even just get them knocked out. I'll handle the Legions.

Donald: Can't you just use that Stand thingy and-

I covered Donald's mouth and shook my head. I was hoping if I needed to use Star Platinum and call out to him, he'd respond to SP as to not reveal his name. I need to keep all the cards I have close to my chest. Relieved the Ravens are still passed out when I glanced at them, I looked back and whispered to Donald.

Kitty: No. With that, I'd only have a few seconds and even then I'm not sure how long for. SP needs to remain secret as long as possible, along with my light powers and any summons. Magic too, we need to be completely careful what we use or Yoseph would take that and use it for his advantage. It's already risky with him knowing of Keyblades. Because right now, he isn't observing the Ravens. Before he could-

I widened my eyes at my thinking and looked at Donald.

Kitty: Get to the Command Room instead. Find his files and DELETE anything that the Ravens have recorded in my fight! I'll help the others.

Thinking about if we still needed to talk, I looked at the ship and called out to Wayfinder.

Kitty: Wayfinder? Is it possible to get a communication line between me and Donald? At least this way we can talk in emergencies.

Wayfinder (AI): No problem, I'd have done this myself if one of you two hadn't said anything. A line has been made for you two to talk to each other personally.

Kitty: Thank you. Actually, you mentioned knowing where everyone is with those nanobots before, do you think you can use them now to give an idea of where they are?

Taking a moment, Wayfinder began searching before speaking.

Wayfinder (AI): They are currently in the training room. And using a pulse from their bodies... I can detect 5 enemies at the door frames.

Donald: Why would they be there now???

Kitty: To learn what abilities they can do... Yoseph tried doing that earlier before Riku stopped him, but with being outnumbered, they have no choice now... More than likely, Sora is going to be next in line for cloning if we can't stop Yoseph in time.

Looking at Donald, I really needed him to work with me as I asked.

Kitty: Can you give me enough trust to save everyone? All responsibility is on me if things go wrong, but if we can't work together then we're all doomed. Yoseph can't get his hands on ANY data on us. Who knows what he would do if he is able to replicate the Keyblade! And who knows, your ship could be on the replication list for the AI too.

Donald looked at me and then to the ship before groaning.

Donald: I'm only going to say this once, but I hate being proven to anyone that even has a good idea.

Kitty: Even Jammy?

Donald: I SAID GOOD IDEA!!!

I couldn't help but snicker softly at the reaction, but smiled when being able to work with Donald before being serious again.

Kitty: Then go to the command room now. With the Ravens out, it's possible that Olive and Brenda have been betrayed by Yoseph and been kicked out of Neuron. I can't say for sure that's happened, but Olive could help with data wiping if she's still there. When I get everyone away from Yoseph, I'll tell them to meet you in the command room. Get them to Brenda to check for any injuries.

Heading to the elevator, I made sure to have a good grip on my Keyblade to be prepared.

Kitty: And I'll be making sure Yoseph learns you don't mess with my friends. And that includes you too, duck.

The doors shut as I pressed the button to head up to the training room. I pray that nothing else happens. But there's still Jena to come. And with how things are changing, I fear her presence will not be the expected one...

Location: Neuron, Training Room

As the doors to the elevator opened, I quickly planted myself against the wall to peak my head out slowly to look around. I could see two Ravens closest to me while Yoseph was behind the glass wall protecting him from any attacks. Three more Raven were on the far end to block any other escapes. If I used Star Platinum to knock the Ravens out, Yoseph would notice and just cause trouble. I need to think of a plan. There are stealth missions in the game, but this is not one of them as any step could get me caught. Magic could also be risky, but Yoseph may have already seen it with Sora. Confronting him with everyone still in the room could just put them in harm's way, and I need to get them away and with Donald to keep them safe.

Kitty: (How am I going to get in there without being seen...?)

As I was trying to think, I thought back to my light shield as I crossed my arms. Nothing happened when I did it, but when trying to focus, I could see a faint light illuminating softly in front of me. Not like how it was, but it was still there.

Kitty: (Maybe... If I can focus... Maybe I can make it so light isn't hitting me? As a form of camouflage?)

I took some deep breaths as I probably have used my powers before, but they were mostly out of instinct. I'm hoping with being more aware, maybe I could make my new powers more... Useful... I could hear some yells as Sora and Riku must be struggling in there. Now is as perfect a time as any to work this...

Kitty: (Come on... Come on... Turn invisible...!)

I held my breath and closed my eyes in trying to think what I wanted. When opening my eyes, I took a look at my hands as I could faintly see myself. Faintly? Taking my phone out, I opened the camera feature and looked at myself to see that I was nearly see through!

Kitty: Yes...!

I quickly covered my mouth and put my phone away and kept focusing as I nearly became visible when losing focus. A Raven appeared at the elevator door and was trying to look for me. I kept myself quiet as the Raven didn't see anything before leaving me alone. I let out a small sigh and thought to myself.

Kitty: (Note to self... Enemies can't see me, but can hear me... Losing focus will dispel the invisibility...)

I now have some way of getting past the Ravens, but got to be careful not to slip up on losing focus. But now I still need to figure out how to get everyone away and deal with Yoseph... As I got closer, I could see in the room where the Ravens were using their Legions to attack Sora, Riku and Goofy. Sora was sent flying to a wall while Riku was punched into the air and Goofy slammed to the ground.

Yoseph: Hmph... Is that all you three can even do?

Sora: Excuse us that we can't see whatever those creatures you're ordering to attack us!

Riku: For someone who's supposed to be in charge of protection, you really don't seem to be doing great at it if you're making us do this.

Yoseph: When it comes to humanity, we all must evolve. That is life. And with studying this so-called "Keyblade", it could be what I need to set my plans in motion.

Goofy: But you never told us what the plans are. Or why you even need the Keyblades.

Yoseph: Let's just say, it is the very foundation that will lead humanity to a future we will all worship. You needn't know the details, only know... Once I figured it out, you will be of no use to me.

I had to stop myself from giving away that I'm here with a furious hiss, neither of the trio looking happy at Yoseph either. I need to figure something out and fast! Could I cause a distraction and get them out that way? No, Yoseph would just be after them again and paint an even bigger target on my back. Even if I can just get Yoseph away, I could try and find a way to get us out of Neuron. Gah... The one time I really wish Jena was here... When looking around, I noticed a fire alarm system nearby and thought of something.

Kitty: (If I can set this off... Maybe I can use my magic to freeze Yoseph and the Ravens!)

Slowly moving, not wanting to knock into anything and give anything away, I kept an eye on the Ravens as I made my way over to the alarm. Glad one thing is going right and I made it, I made sure to have my Keyblade ready before I pulled the alarm as I'll need to move fast. Pointing my Keyblade at the fire alarm system, I began to focus fire magic to create a small flame. Holding the Keyblade up, I waited for the alarms to go off and hoped no one was seeing a floating flame. When holding it close enough, the glass bulb in the sprinkler system breaks as a chain reaction of sprinklers begin to shower down water inside the hall. I hate cat baths...! Focus! Not wasting any more time on dumb thoughts, I focused on ice magic and began freezing the water drops into icicles. As they fell, they hit the floor and began freezing the surrounding areas, along with Yoseph and the Ravens.

Kitty: (VICTORY!)

The victory dance will have to wait, not wanting the others to freeze either. With the enemies frozen, I could stop the invisibility as I quickly opened the door for the training area while calling out.

Kitty: Move and fast if you don't want to become a living popsicle!

Sora: Kitty?!

Riku: Where did you-

Kitty: LESS TALKING!!! MORE RUNNING AWAY JOJO STYLE!!!

Looking up, I quickly made some fire to melt the ice heading their way.

Kitty: May have made that spell too powerful... Ah well, just move it!

Goofy was the first to listen, followed by the two new idiots as we all began running away from the area. With everyone with me, I used the communication line to talk to Donald.

Kitty: Donald, I got them. We're heading to you now. Have you been able to remove the data?

Donald (Communication): I'm trying. But this guy has it locked down like it was a fortress! I can't open this computer at all!!

Mentally groaning in my head, I sighed at how things never can be easy for once.

Kitty: Okay... Not good, but we'll figure something out. Priority right now though is getting everyone to Brenda, or just healed at least.

Sora: Don't we have magic that can heal us almost instantly???

I looked at Sora and shook my head.

Kitty: And with a psycho commander who forced you into fighting Legions you can't see, wanting to know all about the Keyblades and anything they can do? Want to risk giving him anything more info he could use? I'm not sure how much Yoseph knows already, but I'd rather keep as much info to ourselves as possible. Brenda is our safest option right now, she along with Olive could help us get out of here.

Riku: Do you REALLY think we should trust-

Kitty: I trust them completely. Events are changing... But trust me when I say, they hate Yoseph as much as we do.

Riku looked me in the eyes as he looked at Sora.

Riku: Listen to ANYTHING she says. We're beat up right now and need to ensure we can get off this world safely.

I smiled to myself from the trust I have with Riku, using the communication line to talk to Donald.

Kitty: Meet us at the infirmary, forget the data right now. I'll deal with that if it's ever brought up, but we're just healing and getting out of here. Tell me if you see ANYTHING suspicious, no matter if you think it's dumb or not.

As I tried to reach Donald, I heard static as I tried calling out to Donald again. I swear I am going to bang my head against a wall and knock myself out soon if something doesn't go right...!

Kitty: Donald! Respond!! We're in a critical escape right now!! If you can get to the elevator, we can-!!

As the elevator doors opened, we looked to see that there were already 50 Raven soldiers on the floor where I had Donald sent to in terms of deleting the recordings. I paled completely as Sora and Riku looked at each other and looked at me.

Sora & Riku: Close it! Close it! Close it! Close it! Close it! Close it!

I looked at the pair, bonking their heads in annoyance from the constant yelling.

Kitty: If you two SHUT UP AND LOOK, there is no way we are closing this elevator!! I hate this... But the only thing we can do is just follow for now...

Riku: You have to be kidding me...!

Kitty: Oh yes I'm kidding, I'll just fight off 50 FREAKING RAVENS TO GET US OUT! How do you think that will work...?

Riku knew he couldn't fight with what I said as we were forced out of the elevator. This is going to be hell as I knew Yoseph is going to be really, truly mad...

Kitty: You all just keep quiet, and don't do anything. I caused the mess, I'm dealing with it.

Riku: And if Donald opens his beak?

Donald: I CAN HEAR YOU!! I'M STUCK IN THIS- OW!!!

I could hear a Raven punch down on Donald when he spoke out of line. Frick, frick, just fricking frick!!

Sora: Well, I guess we don't have to worry about that...

Riku: Yeah. Because we'll be beaten senseless just for talking.

Goofy: Then it seems... We have no choice but to listen for now.

I nodded at Goofy, since he has the right idea for now until some sort of plan can be formed. As we were cuffed and forced off the elevator, we were then kicked behind our kneecaps to go down onto our knees and then held gunpoint execution style. This just gets better and better.... We can't make any wrong moves, or it really is a risk of game over...

Yoseph: That was a nifty trick you did there. Turning invisible. Some of our enemies could do that before getting the Legion, but active camouflage? Impressive.

Hearing Yoseph's voice, I looked to see that the bastard was already out of the ice and trying to warm up his body. Dammit, maybe the spell wasn't strong enough after all.

Yoseph: That ice was definitely cold. But thanks to giving their armor a heating procedure during cold environments, the ice was able to melt away fast and even help me escape. Though, that was still an impressive attempt using the sprinkler systems on us.

Kitty: And I'll admit, the heating procedure on the armor is impressive too. Though also a little annoying at the same time. Thought the ice would have taken longer to melt.

Yoseph: It would have, had there been no Ravens present. With these soldiers, they are the ultimate image of the new world.

I growled in my mind at his delusions, but didn't dare attempt anything with the damn gun.

Kitty: Ultimate image of the new world? Very specific there.

Yoseph: Yes. Especially with what that Keyblade of yours could do to help me achieve that dream.

Kitty: Yeah, I would agree with that. But Keyblades have a mind of their own, not going to work for just anybody. And to use them for some unknown dream? Doesn't really sound like the best use for them.

Yoseph: Not unless you have a means to do that. Which someone has graciously told me of their existence AND information about it in advance.

My eyes widened when hearing this, along with the others as we looked at each other with the same feeling.

Kitty: And that person wouldn't happen to wear all black armor, one red eye showing in the helmet?

Yoseph: It would appear... We are talking about the same individual indeed~

Chronos... That bastard...!

Yoseph: The man told me that "A Key would soon arrive in this world. Saying how it could help me achieve my goals. But to my surprise, I have two in my possession.

Kitty: Leave Sora out of this! He is a kid, he shouldn't even be involved in this mess! In fact, leave ALL my friends out of this, not one of them should be involved with you or whatever plans you have.

Yoseph: Oh, and that's where you're wrong. This person even says that they even come bearing knowledge of what is to come. Even knowing my secret plans...

Kitty: You were lied to. Not everyone does... I am the only one who knows of you, Yoseph.

Yoseph: And how much do you know?

Kitty: Where should I start? Project Noah? The fact the Ravens are just clones of one of the twins? The fact you're just using the twins since they're the closest thing to Chimeras due to their birth? Or Jena, and the fact you sent her to the Astral Plane because she didn't agree with you? How long ago was that? 10, maybe 20 years?

Yoseph looked at me, giving me a look of great dissatisfaction in my knowledge of all his plans.

Yoseph: You sure are... Well versed behind this knowledge.

I looked at Yoseph with the same disdain, before shrugging and smirking.

Kitty: Who knows, I could have just made up everything I said, even about knowing about you. But with the look and that comment, it just confirms all of it is true~

Yoseph looked at me and then nodded towards a Raven to kick me in the gut. Dicks... Still worth it to mess with him.

Kitty: You were the one who wanted to know what I knew... Don't ask for it if you can't handle it... After all... You were the one who couldn't see eye to eye with your partner Jena... What? Gonna send us to the Astral Plane next?? Would you want someone else to be able to control the Chimeras like Jena can? Or the Homunculus?

Yoseph: Quit with your foolishness. I am here to offer a place on this project, should you accept. If not, I'll clone you just like I did with that girl.

I wasn't even attempting to hide my loathing of Yoseph, rolling my eyes and looking at him.

Kitty: For someone who's supposed to apparently care for people on the Ark, you show no compassion. Is everyone just some sort of pawn to you? Those who work for you, people who look up to you for safety, people who have been corrupted? Do you care NOTHING for anyone's lives?

Yoseph: The way we all live, we are all expendable! Until my plan comes through, I will do ANYTHING to see Project Noah through!!

Kitty: Even die for it? You're truly the most PATHETIC person I ever met. Even when you know you'll be killed, you still hold on. Admirable for wanting to see things through, but truly foolish not letting go when you can still live. Not like I care either way. Because to me...

I began to glare at Yoseph with the most disgusted look I could give him.

Kitty: You are nothing, but a shit stain on this floating contraption keeping the last bit of humanity alive. Sacrificing others for your own gain, not caring who lives or dies, even sealing off sector nine? Despicable. People are BEGGING to live, escape the red matter and be free of that place. Even risking turning into Chimeras for a chance to escape. But no, you don't even care. Because all you care about is a plan that leads to nothing but your DEATH!

Yoseph: That is enough!

I glared at Yoseph as I got to my feet and had a few Ravens hold me and try forcing me back to my knees. But I wasn't riling up Yoseph for no reason, building up my light magic and hoping this works. Focusing on a light source behind Yoseph, I closed my eyes and prayed it worked as I focused on being in that spot. When I opened my eyes, I was relieved when it worked before getting serious again. I took the chance to summon Star Platinum quickly and break the cuffs, before speaking again with all the rage evident in my voice.

Kitty: Enough? I'm only JUST. GETTING. STARTED.

Turning around to see me, Yoseph was actually surprised by how I got behind him.

Yoseph: Wh-What the-!?

With my hands now being free, I was able to summon Oathkeeper and pointed it directly at Yoseph.

Kitty: Get the Ravens AWAY from my friends and release them. NOW!

Yoseph did not dare more from his spot as he called to the Ravens.

Yoseph: Back off. For now...

I saw the Ravens back off on the command, keeping an eye on Yoseph as I headed back over to the others. Since Yoseph seems to know everything about the Keyblades already, I used mine to get the cuffs off everyone. Looking at their cuffs, everyone was able to get them off.

Sora: I almost forgot the Keyblade can unlock stuff.

Riku: You are just, hopeless and bad. You know that?

Sora: Give me a break!

Kitty: Save the bickering boys. We're still here with all these bozos. Even though you two are turning into bozos yourselves at times...

Sora & Riku: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!?

Ignoring the two, even though I did want to laugh at their reaction a little, I focused back on the main subject here. There's no way we'd be getting to Brenda, and there's a high chance of a fight. So I just use my Keyblade once more, healing the others and speaking quietly so they can only hear.

Kitty: If there is a fight, I'll need all of you to help. Even just knocking out some Ravens.

Donald: As long as it gets us out of here, I'll do anything...

Before anything else could happen, the communicator going off broke through the tension building in the air. It was Akira, which made me feel relieved. With the Ravens not meant to be revealed yet, this would send Yoseph into a panic.

Akira (Communicator): Commander! I've reached the building! I need you to let me in fast so I can hurry and request a helicopter to get you out of here! Jena is heading her way towards us as we speak!

This should be the first fight with her, but there's a feeling in me that things aren't going to be that way. Yoseph didn't waste a moment from what Akira said, letting her into the building.

Yoseph: I'll be waiting on the rooftop for the helicopter.

Akira (Communicator): Understood, heading to request a helicopter now. I'll wait for you on the rooftop.

It was a short interaction, but enough to send Yoseph into a panic. Unsure whether it's from Jena or the risk of Akira seeing the Ravens. Possibly both.

Kitty: Heh. Looks like someone jumped the gun on wanting to take the base over for his personal army.

Yoseph: You will be quiet!

Kitty: Not part of the team, no reason to listen to you. Now don't you have a helicopter to be getting too and Ravens to hide? Unless you want Akira to see all the clones of her so early.

Yoseph glared at me as he knew I was right, but to have been stopped when he had us in the palm of his hands, gave me much pleasure in seeing him upset about this. There wasn't much time for him to keep glaring at me though, needing to hurry to get to safety. With a quick command of telling the Ravens to go back to their original hiding spot, Yoseph was heading to the rooftop to get the helicopter. But that feeling inside me just kept growing... Something really doesn't feel right...

Location: Neuron HQ, Helicopter Platform

As the elevator doors opened, we followed Yoseph out of the elevator as we then heard explosions and gunfire coming from outside. I knew there was a fight that happened here, but the explosions are in another fight with Jena... As we heard the fighting, an officer came to the elevator to warn Yoseph.

Neuron Officer: Commander! We'll need to find another way to get you to safety! There's some sort of creature attacking out there!

Yoseph: What the hell is going on out there!?

Neuron Officer: We were waiting to make sure you got onto the helicopter safely as we heard about Jena coming. But instead of Jena, there's some sort of... Monster attacking everyone mercilessly! No matter what we do, we're struggling to get any damage on it.

I'd need to see to be sure, but that feeling was gnawing at my nerves as I had a feeling exactly what, or who the creature really is... Despite the warnings from the officer, Yoseph moved to be able to see the creature they were talking about. With needing to confirm myself, I looked at the group.

Kitty: Stay right here, I'm seeing what the officer is talking about.

Not giving the group a chance to say anything, I kept at a distance to avoid getting caught in any blasts. But when seeing the creature, I backed up in complete fear and wanted to scream. It was Jena, but in the form known as Jena Apotheosis. After taking a drink known as Blue Evolve, which is what turns people into Chimeras too, Jena changes into this final form. But this was supposed to be the last fight with her, not the rooftop fight!

As I was trying to control my breathing so I didn't end up passing out from fear, I heard footsteps coming closer as I looked back at the group.

Kitty: I'm sure I said to stay where you were.

Sora: Well there was no way that we were staying away without knowing what the explosions were!

I looked at Sora, rolling my eyes softly and shaking my head.

Kitty: Riku's right, you really can be hopeless.

Goofy: We also got worried from what that officer said and wanted to see if we could help.

Donald: Anything to get out of this world quicker!

Riku: If it's the Jena person we heard about before, all help would be good right?

I wanted to agree with Riku, but not on this fight. As I was trying to keep my breathing stable, I managed to keep calm enough to speak.

Kitty: Usually I would say yes. But in this fight, absolutely not.

Sora: Why not???

I pointed to the monstrosity that Jena has become already.

Kitty: See that? THAT is Jena. She took a drink which can turn people into Chimeras, and she is NOT in control of that form. This fight was supposed to come later. But I'm guessing Chronos got to Jena too...

Riku: Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me!!

I looked at Riku, really wishing I was kidding as I shook my head. Hate when gut feelings are right...

Kitty: Nope. So this is one fight you STAY OUT of. This is way too dangerous.

Goofy: And what are you going to be doing, Kitty???

I looked at Goofy, turning around and walking away.

Kitty: Nothing to be concerned about. As much as I hate it... Still need Yoseph alive for now, so just gotta make sure he's safe.

Yoseph: Just because you save me, doesn't mean I'll stop wanting those Keys of Project Noah.

Kitty: And just because you want to be a mad man, doesn't mean I want anything to do with you. But sadly, for our own goals you still need to be safe. Go crazy and drive yourself to your own death later. Unless you really want to be killed by Jena right now?

Yoseph was about to say something, but a projectile made of ice was beginning to be sent this way. I was ready to counter it, but then it got destroyed by an arrow projectile shot. Looking behind me, I then heard a voice.

???: Commander! Are you alright!?

It was Akira. One of the siblings of this story, in this case the female sibling. But with the events of the story of going to Zone 9, she is wearing the Raven armor instead of the Neuron uniform. Yoseph looked at her when being called out too.

Yoseph: I'm fine, that was a good save there. But it seems the helicopter escape is not an option right now.

Akira: Yeah, I can see that. What the HELL is that anyway!?

Yoseph seemed to be thinking about how to respond, before ending up just saying it bluntly.

Yoseph: This is Jena.

Akira looked at Yoseph, complete confusion showing in her expression.

Akira: Commander, sorry to be blunt... But I just lost sight of Jena, and she was human. Not... Whatever the heck this is.

Yoseph: It is a surprise, but that is still Jena. I have a theory that she used Blue Evolve to turn into that form. And because of it, she herself is like this now.

Akira: Then what do we do about Jena?

Yoseph: All we can do for now is try and get as far away from her as possible. Taking her on like this is almost suicide. Unless you can attack at her core, which is her main body within that monstrosity itself, it's what I said, suicide.

Akira: I could try and do long distance attacks, but if she moves fast I wouldn't be able to get a good aim. But the main focus is getting you to safety. I could try and cause enough distraction to give time for you to get out of here.

Yoseph: No. Sending you in is out of the question.

I looked at Yoseph and had to stop myself from scoffing, knowing that Akira is important to his goals. That's the only reason he is keeping her safe. Once she becomes useless to him... The rest is history...

Akira: But what about all the other officers fighting right now? Is it not suicide for them too?

Yoseph: They know the risks. But sending you in without a real plan is out of the question.

Akira: With all due respect, there is nothing different about the officers fighting or me fighting without a plan. The only difference is, I have a Legatus.

Yoseph: You are not READY yet!!

Akira: Ready? Ready for what, Commander?

Yoseph: For anything like this. We have never seen a human/chimera fusion before.

Akira: And yet, people are still risking their lives fighting like this.

Yoseph: We don't know what Jena is capable of in this form. Going in without a plan will get you killed. Just like your Father.

(Am I going too far bringing the Father up in this...?)

(Nope)

Kitty: Low blow... WAY too low to bring that up...

I muttered under my breath, glaring at Yoseph for his comment. That scene brok- No, shattered my heart at the beginning of the game. When the legions went out of control when all Legatus users went to the Astral Plane, the twins' father, Maximus or Max as he's called, stayed behind to give everyone a chance to escape. But it cost his own life... It caused Akira to go silent at the memory, seeing the tears threatening to fall.

Yoseph: Your Father loved you and your brother with all his heart. In a situation like this, going against a foe like this would be something Max would have analyzed first before engaging. Isn't that right?

Akira was still silent, thinking about Max and what he would do before speaking.

Akira: ...Okay, but I'd highly recommend that a plan is made fast. I doubt Jena wouldn't just follow you if she wants to get to you badly.

Yoseph: Then we must move now. Staying any longer would-

???: HEY!! Just because a chaos causing giant is making a scene, doesn't mean WE can't fight!!

As we heard the voice, I looked at the group who all had the same expression. A look to show how we are not in the mood to deal with these guys right now.

Kitty: Dammit... I thought the short circuiting bot would have gotten a hint to leave us alone...

Looking around when I said that, I saw it was Zaku looking at Dom and Gouf.

Zaku: Hey. Which one is she talking to?

Gouf: I think that would be you, doofus.

Dom: Dah, agreed.

Kitty: If you want a reminder, I'm more than happy to give one~

I said this with an annoyed smile, numerous tick marks forming from seeing these guys again. Just another thing that can go wrong in this world. Zaku looked at me while gaining a tick mark of his own while pulling out his guns and waving them wildly.

Zaku: Who are you calling the "short circuiting bot" here!? I am perfectly sane!!!

In response, I looked at Gouf and Dom, not even worried about the guns. If I'm annoying all enemies today, I might as well keep having some fun doing it.

Kitty: How do you put up with this guy? Has he always had this short of a temper?

Gouf: You have no idea. His mouth has gotten us into more trouble than it was worth.

Kitty: Oh, just like the duck then? Must have something in common.

Zaku: I TOLD YOU BEFORE, DON'T COMPARE ME TO THE DUCK!!!

Donald: I AM NOTHING LIKE THE ROBOT!!

Sora and Riku looked between Donald and Zaku, seeing the similarities between them.

Riku: You really are similar in temperament.

Sora: Donald, you can look just as red as Zaku is when angry.

Donald: I DO NOT HAVE A TEMPER, OR GO AS RED AS HIM!

But Sora's point was just proven, Donald's face going as Red as Zaku.

Goofy: Gwarsh Donald, your face is looking quite red right now.

Gouf: Ha. He really is like you. Are you sure you don't have a brother that is an organic?

Zaku: I WILL SHOOT YOU INTO SCRAP!!!

Gouf: Good luck dealing with the boss then, how happy do you think he'll be when he finds out you turned one of us into scrap? Spoiler, you'll be next.

Zaku gained more tick marks when looking at Gouf.

Zaku: I-! You-! I will-!! GAH!!! FORGET THIS!!! TURN THEM INTO SCRAP!!!

Zaku aimed his guns at all of us with Gouf and Dom and began to fire. Raising my arms, I quickly got in front of Donald and the others to make my Light Shield to stop the bullets as they impacted against it. Keeping the focus on the shield, I looked at everyone to make sure they're okay.

Kitty: Everyone okay? Any stray bullets hit anybody?

Sora: We're fine...

Riku: But when could you do that!?

Riku was talking about my new shield as I gave a nervous chuckle. Not even sure how to explain it.

Kitty: Umm... Instincts to protect I guess?

Sora: Then what does that make Jammy? Instinct to destroy when he gets mad???

I looked at Sora, annoyed at the comment and making my mood worse.

Kitty: Sora... How many times has he saved us all?

When looking at me, I could see Sora shiver in how I was glaring at him when mentioning Jammy in such a way.

Kitty: Just please remember he still does his best to keep everyone safe too. After all~ We wouldn't want Jammy to hear of the sass he gets when not here, do we~?

I wouldn't really do that to Sora, but I was not in the best mood and hated my friends being talked about badly for no good reason.

Sora: N-No! I rather stay on his good side and throw Donald as a peace offering!

Donald: YOU WHAT!?

I was trying to remain serious, but was glad to be able to keep the shield up while laughing.

Kitty: Sora, I was joking! I wasn't actually going to do that!

Sora looked at me and then to Donald with a sheepish grin.

Sora: I was only joking too...?

Donald: YOU WERE NOT AND YOU KNOW IT!!!

As I tried to control my laughter, seeing Riku and Goofy trying to hold their laughs back too, the moment was ruined from the target practice.

Zaku: HEY! DID YOU FORGET ABOUT US?! WE'RE NOT HERE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES!!! THIS ISN'T A COMEDY SKIT!!!

Riku: Really? Huh, shame really. You'd make a great comedy act.

Zaku: Get real, flesh bag! All these guns are good for, is riddling you with bullets!!

Riku: And yet, you miss most of the time. How does a robot with so much firepower even miss? You either have lousy aiming, or you're the one defective.

Zaku gained even more tick marks on his head before flailing his arms.

Zaku: "Defective"?! "DEFECTIVE"!?

While flailing his arms, Zaku kept shooting his machine guns as his shots were all over the place now.

Zaku: WHO ARE YOU CALLING DEFECTIVE!? COME OVER HERE AND I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT MY GUNS CAN REALLY DOOOOOOOO!!!

Gouf: HEY!! Will you watch it, lug nuts!!! We're on YOUR SIDE!!!

Dom: Friendly fire! FRIENDLY FIRE!!!

I kept the shield up just to make sure we wouldn't get hit, but all of us just looked at each other, not even concerned. At this point, the enemies were just taking themselves out as we just focused on making a plan on how to get out of this world.

Goofy: Well since we don't seem to have to worry about these guys, maybe we should focus on getting out of here ourselves?

Kitty: Still got a long way to go I'm afraid. We can get out of Neuron, but won't even be close on actually getting out. Things are just going to be getting more dangerous and harder.

Riku: It's better than being stuck here on a building that could collapse if that monstrosity gets the idea to bring the building down!

My eyes widened when hearing this, remembering part of the fight when it happened later. Having to use a legion to jump onto platforms in the air to get close to Jena. It wasn't on the rooftop, but still risky to even think about.

Kitty: We're getting out of here! Elevator, NOW!

Akira: Huh!? Who are you to give orders here!?

I looked at Akira, trying to think of how to answer.

Kitty: I'm in no position of power, but worried for my friends safety. We have no way of fighting, and I'm not wanting to risk the group getting caught in the crossfire. Do you have a problem with that, or do we need to wait for the building to eventually break down along with us??? Including your Commander?

I was praying Akira was not going to argue, just wanting to get away from here. Akira didn't seem the happiest, but didn't argue which gave me some relief.

Akira: Let's go.

Looking to Yoseph, she began to issue an order.

Akira: Sir, please hurry and follow me to the garage. We need to get you transportation that can allow you to stay out of sight of Jena.

Yoseph: Lead the way.

Taking lead, she began to lead Yoseph as they began heading to the garage. I looked at the others, glancing in the direction they went. With the robots still fighting each other, it should give us time to at least get out of here.

Kitty: Let's go too. Even if we have to run out of here, we're not sticking around.

Once Zaku was distracted, we began to head to the elevators as well. When looking to where Yoseph was, he flashed a smile as the door closed. I had a feeling we weren't done with him yet at all and neither was he in terms of wanting to capture us. Trying to keep focus on the matter right now, we waited for the elevator to come back as I was thinking about what's going to happen.

Kitty: Things are going to be changing and fast. With this fight, this is when Yoseph's true colors are meant to appear. Once this fight is over, there will be a BIG explosion of Jena... It causes the main character to end up falling when caught in it. In a life and death situation to save their host, the legion fuses with them. Sort of like Jena, but actually in control. That's when the Ravens appear, under orders to...

I couldn't even finish the sentence, despising the order given in that scene.

Riku: Appear to...?

I remained silent for a moment longer, before sighing and spitting it out.

Kitty: To kill... With the fusion, they're being seen as a monster. Being seen as if they have to die...

Hearing what I said, the others became shocked when learning this.

Group (except Kitty): WHAT!?

Kitty: I wish I was lying... I never lied when I said Yoseph sees people as pawns... He will let people die if it means that his plans go ahead. If the main character doesn't get saved by Jena before the Ravens actually fulfilled the order, they would just be another loss in this twisted scheme... Jena gave her own life to save them, begging them to hold onto humanity. She wasn't trying to hurt anyone. She made mistakes, but all she wanted was to stop Yoseph to keep everyone safe from him... From Project Noah...

Riku: You keep mentioning it. Even Yoseph. What even IS Project Noah???

I looked at the group, an emotionless look in my eyes to keep the rage hidden.

Kitty: Yoseph doesn't believe that humanity can evolve and learn to live on their own. He wants to bring EVERYONE into one being. A creation made from the energy of the astral plane and makes an entity housing not just his, but all that is left of humanity as one body, one mind. This place is called the ARK, right? What's an ARK if it doesn't have Noah to sail its ship...?

I could see the shock growing more on the group's faces, processing all this info. I just looked away, trying to keep calm and keep a clear head.

Kitty: That's why Yoseph must be stopped. And no matter what, It's always going to lead to his death. Even if it has to be me that does it.

As I said this, the elevator came as the doors opened. As we headed in to leave the building, things are going to grow tougher from here on out. But if it all leads to the death of the tyrant, I say bring it on.
